When I first went into the business they had a younger fair skinned girl working who was super friendly, and gave me tons of information making me want to be a customer here.
Then I came back. It was my first experience tanning in a bed, and I explained this to the clerk working (different person this time.) I marked that I burn on my sheet, and she even noticed it. She told me since I see you marked that you burn normally I would say you should go in the lowest level machine, and then the set the timer for 15 minutes. Me since it was my first time did not think anything about the length of time. Considering I would lay out in the sun for hours to try to tan. Also, since it was my first time I did not know that once your feel heat this is bad get out the machine, because in the sun that would be how I knew I was finally tanning. None of this was provided to me, so needless to say I'm walking around now with blister sun burns 5 days after the fact. When I messaged the owner my concern that I'm blistering what the heck do I do!? She switched the blame after her apology to the fact that I should have gotten out of the machine when I felt hot. Well..... That would have been great information to know before hand.
The machine I used would not stay closed either I had to hold it shut. The button would not even press start for me. I had to get them to go back in to make it work, and the bathroom had no soap.
Super sad. I was looking forward to having a new place to go where I felt comfortable. Hopefully they fix the staffing issues, or even train their staff on procedures/customer service. read more
