She left my hair uneven, talked about herself the whole time, and people in Yuma she did not like. Well, we have been traveling for the last month and I was desperate for a trim. I was given Kyla's name. I went in with minimal expectations and I was going to be very specific about what I needed done...I planned on staying in control of the situation, haha, I mean who would be able to do as well as my stylist from the big apple? I met Kyla and she was lovely. We discussed what I wanted I was so surprised with her understanding of what I was unhappy with and how to fix it. I am about the most particular person I know when it comes to my hair, I once had a salon owner tell me he doesn't want clients that are as knowledgable as I am,he'd rather have people who just accept mediocrity. Well, after spending 10 minutes discussing hair, I asked her what she would do if I left it up to her. She was very clear and communicated what she would to style my hair. I said go ahead and she did a wonderful job cutting my hair! I love it and would give up my old stylist, whom I love, for Kyla in a New York minute!! As far as the salon, it was pretty underwhelming but Kyla is a star!
