There was no response so I texted them again to see if they were going to still come out and do it but they called me and said, "Hello, I received a text from this number?" I was so confused, was my text deleted and he didn't see the previous conversation because every time I texted him after that, it was the same thing, he would call me and ask what I was needing. The communication was horrific and eventually he came out after one of his employees didn't show up the day before. He said he couldn't do it because it was too small of a job and that was it. He was friendly but that was probably the only good experience I had throughout. I could not recommend.

It has never grown grass or been taken care of. The previous owners kept two ponies in the back yard, so it needed a lot of love. We hired The Garden Gnome inc. after having a handful of landscapers out who NEVER actually sent a quote. What is up with that?!!? Chip and his crew were fan-effing-tastic. I cannot tell you enough good things. First, we were waiting on our pool people to finish the grading before we could get started. Chip followed up weekly to see about the progress. When his quote came in a bit high, he made appropriate adjustments to not only save us money but plan for the future and not lose the bamboo and palms that I really wanted....who knew grass would be so expensive! His guys showed up every day on time, were polite, cleaned up after themselves, played with my doggos, did daily walk throughs, and LOOK AT THIS YARD. He worked alongside ATZ irrigation to make sure everything was watered properly b/c they do not do irrigation. It is NIGHT and DAY from before. My kids now play outside in this area and I can walk barefoot if I want (though...I get scared of grass in FL....) This was not a cheap job but was well worth it as we continue to create our space. We decided we couldn't leave our front yard a ruckus, so he is coming BACK out next week to do the rest ASAP! So excited to have the whole yard done. He is even putting in a butterfly garden for me b/c I love attracting all the different butterflies and dragonflies out here! Highly recommend!

I hired Evolve in the Spring of 2021 for my lawn maintenance. Sometime between October 1st and…read moreNovember 11th, an employee mowing hit a drainage pipe on my back lot causing damage. As result of the damage, I now have a constant flow of water coming from the broken pipe. It was determined by Polk County officials it was a drainage pipe and not a sewer pipe as Evolve claimed. Evolve initially denied all responsibility for the damage alleging the real damage was caused by tree roots breaking the pipe. I hired an independent plumber to assess the damage. He determined the broken pipe had been hit by a lawn mower by examining the pieces of pipe which had been left on the ground. Polk County officials also came to the same conclusion. Evolve said the only way they would repair the damage was if I agreed to pay for the repairs. Repairs began December 13th and ended December 14th with Evolve installing a 3 FOOT ABOVE GROUND TEAL COLORED 6 INCH PIPE WITH A WHITE CAP. I advised the above ground pipe was a complete eyesore in my nicely wooded backyard as the original pipe was buried underground. I was furious with the results, and advised if they wanted payment they would have to fix it to my satisfaction. I was told the only way it would be repaired underground was to bring in heavy equipment to dig which they said couldn't be done. After several heated telephone conversations with the impertinent office manager Jillian Bustos, I received an email on December 15th from Jillian advising Evolve was voiding their invoice of $345, and "as result will discontinue doing business with you effective immediately". Adding insult to injury, she suggested I cover the pipe with a trellis, plant material, shell cover or spray paint the pipe to blend in with its surroundings. The saga continues as today I received a telephone call from an attorney Evolve retained to collect what I allegedly still owed them for the repair work they botched. As soon as I informed their attorney I had an email from Evolve stating they had voided their invoice, he advised he would be closing his file on this matter. Then he rudely hung up on me without saying thank you or goodbye. Evolve and their attorney have a lot to learn about being polite and good manners. Nice try Evolve, but you will never see another shiny penny from me ever. You are extremely unprofessional walking away from the mess you made, refusing to make it right and then trying to intimidate me with your attorney. You need to hire a new office manager as the one you have is going to kill your business with her mouth and attitude.
