He made sure he was with me every step of the way during my home buying process, even if it meant contacting me after hours and on weekends, which I greatly appreciated! He's easy to talk to and completely honest. I am also impressed with his professionalism when dealing with other unpleasant professionals. I remember him responding to a text of mine saying, "I like a challenge!" Lastly, because I work during the day, with only a 30 minute (if that) lunch break, Mick was willing to contact my loan officer and loan processor to help me get information on the status of my loan. My family has known and done real estate business with the McGowan family for well over 30 years,…read moreand when I needed a real estate agent in Toledo, we chose Jim McGowan. I thought that because Jim wasn't the largest real estate agent in Toledo, he might make our property more of a priority. Not only did he make us a priority, but because of his own experience in building and commercial real estate, he was able to creatively divide the building, reface it, and completely fill the building with high quality tennants - in the middle of a recession. The bottom line is Jim was able to do what no other real estate agent in Toledo would have been able to do. I highly recommend him

True to their word, they have made real estate investing as turnkey as it could possibly get. They found the property I purchased, offered it at a great price, renovated it (included with the purchase), and found a tenant. My experience with all of the staff has been excellent, Laarne in particular has been extremely helpful and responsive, keeping me updated on the process and responding to my questions promptly. Engelo has also been really great, he has so much experience / knowledge in real estate - and unlike others I've met in this business he really tells you the unvarnished truth - what works, what doesn't, and the best strategies to consider if you're going to get into this arena. That way you can make a sound informed decision. I'm really impressed with the comprehensiveness of OCF and definitely recommend having a conversation with Engelo if you're considering getting into real estate, or if you need property management services in Ohio.

Whether you are selling or buying real estate, we highly recommend her! Lou is exceedingly knowledgeable, helpful, honest, prompt and straightforward. Lou is very resourceful, reliable and extremely attentive. She has integrity, commitment, and a huge heart, which are qualities we never expected to find in a realtor. We knew the moment we met her, we'd found a gem and felt the utmost confidence in her expertise throughout the entire process. We had bought our home through her many years prior and recently contacted her again to be our realtor to sell it. She was honest about and laid out the challenges we might encounter with selling our home, although it sold far ahead of time expectations and all went perfectly with her at the helm. Lou kept us informed about everything along the way. We felt as if we were her sole clients and main focus. She is also extremely helpful when it comes down to getting the nitty gritty done to prepare the place for showings and how to get the highest bid during a time when the market is so slow. We felt comfortable asking her questions and trusted that she would steer us right. She even got $500 more out of the seller for us on her own when she went back with our counter offer. She gives 110%. She is extremely detailed and patient! We really can't imagine getting any better service than we received! Lou is OUTSTANDING and deserves 100 stars!!!! No matter what your needs in real estate are, Lou will guide you the whole way through the process with the utmost care and professionalism! If we ever need a realtor again, Lou will definitely be our choice!
