Before my first car, my dad let my sister and I share a car so we could drive to School and he had State Farm. I know State Farm is one insurance company to most people but there are many State Farm agents. My dad was with someone else and told me to go to him and no one else. Well u know grandma'a they always do what they want. Especially mine. So I found the car I wanted and my grandma was with me. the dealer told me the stuff I needed to get before I can drive off with it. I wanted that car that very moment. Well my grandma made it happen with amazing help from Cindy Fletcher at State Farm. It was getting late but somehow Cindy made it happen. Especially when most people leave the office either right at 5pm or a couple minutes sooner and if there is a call most people wouldn't answer thinking it might take to long and have to leave later. This wasn't that case with her at all. I don't know if my grandma paid over the phone or what happened but the dealer came back with the keys and I signed some papers and was on my way. This might be long but it's important. I stayed with her with every car I had. Well my grandma wanted a new one and lease it because of her age and she rarely drives. So she let me have her old car, which only had about 55,000 miles and it's an older car but fully loaded. Any how, my grandma passed away last thanksgiving. It was a huge loss to me and then all of a sudden I had so much responsibility and stress and bills and a lot more and that's not including planning a funeral and there a lot of things u must do. During this I called Cindy and needed a lot of help. My car was still in my grandmas name. She gave me the title to changes it years before but I let it go not thinking this could happen. Plus the leased vehicle and now house insurance. Cindy told me to come in and we would figure it all out. When I went in I was scared and nervous and still very upset about loosing my grandma. Her receptionist was extremely kind but Cindy came out and greeted me at the door as well. I assumed the girl up front would buzz her or go and tell her I was there. Cindy coming out and greeting me was very nice. We went to her office and she had already done a lot of the work for me. Which felt good because I couldn't stop crying and was embarrassed and I thought I'd be there for hours. I do feel she went above and beyond to help me in the situation and also talked to me about my loss and it felt good to hear what she said. She helped me a lot more then she had to. So I would recommend her to everyone. She is smart and has a great memory and had contacted me to help with other things. Plus they offer more things. They offer credit cards at good rates, life insurance which is very cheap. Since my mom is ill and can't work or make money, life insurance on me would be the only way for my mom to survive. I know so any places offer it. But at the low cost and the large amount my mom would get. I couldn't pass it up. Cindy is the one that mentioned it and I was grateful, I was scared my mom would be alone and have nothing so this was needed. So a special thank u to Cindy and her assistant for everything.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I cancelled my business policy with Tucker Insurance Agency…read morewell before the renewal--not only did I email them, I mailed a physical letter, and even texted directly with Rob, who acknowledged the cancellation and the reason for it. Despite that, they still drafted my ACH for the premium. That was over two months ago, and I'm still fighting to get my money back. We're talking over $2,000 wrongfully taken from my business account. Their excuse was that the carrier (EMC) needed to complete an audit before any refund could be issued. Fine--so I completed every single document EMC requested. That was a month ago. Still no refund, no accountability, no urgency, no resolution. At this point it's beyond incompetence--it's unacceptable business practice. Funds should never be drafted on a cancelled policy that was confirmed multiple times. If this is how they handle clients, I'd strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. I am posting this publicly in hopes that Tucker Insurance Agency finally does the right thing and returns the money they never should have taken in the first place.

In my opinion, location doesn't matter that much for your insurance company, since most business…read morecan be taken care of by phone or mail. So don't let the drive out to Belleville put you off from doing business with Tucker. Besides, the office is less than a mile from the exit off I-94, so it's not too far a drive from Ann Arbor or Ypsilanti if you do have to go there in the flesh. I'm actually a little annoyed with Tucker at the moment over a billing issue. We thought we'd paid our car insurance in full for the year, and then received an additional bill for 6 dollars and some change. I wasn't entirely satisfied with the explanation I got for this charge; it had something to do with the "paid in full" discount be lower when they lowered our premium. Still, I would recommend them for one main reason: they're independent and can shop around for good rates for you. I learned to go with an independent agent when I worked for one many years ago. An independent isn't tied down to selling just one brand of insurance, so they can shop around and almost always can find you the best deal. We have both our home and car insurance through Tucker, and having more than one policy with the same insurance agency will also often get you a discount. They've been fairly responsive to phone calls asking if a rate can be lowered, so overall, they're OK. We'll stick with them at least until next year and then see if they're still able to get us the best rates.

***STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE/AGENT*** After almost a year…read moreof attempting to switch my agent from Manessa to another agent, due to poor customer service and communication from Ali, today's experience with him was the icing on the cake. In my interaction with Ali today he was disrespectful, rude and had a complete lack of professionalism leaving me with no option but to write this review. His abrasiveness, dismissiveness and tone when speaking to me was unappreciated, especially as an individual that has given him business for multiple consecutive years. Rather than attempting to assist he stated, "leave, you've given us nothing but problems since the beginning". Mind you, in all the years I've been with him, I can genuinely say that I have never made one claim against my home or vehicle policy. I've paid every policy in full for 6 months for both of my vehicles and have never ever defaulted on my policy nor had an overlapse in coverage. The "problems" I have given was the complaint to the fact that they hardly ever answer their phone and their customer service is subpar. Basically, if you aren't praising his horrible customer service skills but instead requesting information you are entitled to and your own policy, you're considered a problematic customer. Your company should pride themselves in customer service and attempt to restore customer issues to their satisfaction, rather than being aggressive. Ali's threatening (yelling) and intimidating interaction with me is one that will be shared with the main office. You're running a professional institution and should address your customers, especially one that has been frustrated with your service for over a year now with respect and grace. One thing I can guarantee is, Mr. Chautio will never challenge his anger or disrespect to me again now that my policy is moved to a new agent.

I have been with AAA for a long time my agent recently retired with no notification. I was told…read morethey are no longer assigning agents, I will just get whoever is up next to handle what I need. I filed a homeowners claim back in August from the storm. Didn't hear anything back for 2 weeks. Then was told I was denied because I had no home owner insurance. That was after I had spoken to my agent at the time, before he retired, and he said just to call Home Owners claim and file. After I called and said I was denied, my agent said they made a mistake on their end and they recently got a new system and my policy was not changed over to the new system. I then had to refile. Now we are 8 months later and I cannot get a return phone call or email after even being passed to a so called manager. After I left a message he texted me and said please text me so I did. Did I get a response? No. Today they connected me with some random adjuster and said I needed to deal with my assigned adjuster. Oh you mean my assigned adjuster who I haven't heard back from or her supervisor? Definitely time to leave AAA after I get this dealt with. I am a pretty patient person and understand that these days we have to have a lot of patience with businesses, but this is ridiculous. They sure are there when the bill is due!
