Before my first car, my dad let my sister and I share a car so we could drive to School and he had State Farm. I know State Farm is one insurance company to most people but there are many State Farm agents. My dad was with someone else and told me to go to him and no one else. Well u know grandma'a they always do what they want. Especially mine. So I found the car I wanted and my grandma was with me. the dealer told me the stuff I needed to get before I can drive off with it. I wanted that car that very moment. Well my grandma made it happen with amazing help from Cindy Fletcher at State Farm. It was getting late but somehow Cindy made it happen. Especially when most people leave the office either right at 5pm or a couple minutes sooner and if there is a call most people wouldn't answer thinking it might take to long and have to leave later. This wasn't that case with her at all. I don't know if my grandma paid over the phone or what happened but the dealer came back with the keys and I signed some papers and was on my way. This might be long but it's important. I stayed with her with every car I had. Well my grandma wanted a new one and lease it because of her age and she rarely drives. So she let me have her old car, which only had about 55,000 miles and it's an older car but fully loaded. Any how, my grandma passed away last thanksgiving. It was a huge loss to me and then all of a sudden I had so much responsibility and stress and bills and a lot more and that's not including planning a funeral and there a lot of things u must do. During this I called Cindy and needed a lot of help. My car was still in my grandmas name. She gave me the title to changes it years before but I let it go not thinking this could happen. Plus the leased vehicle and now house insurance. Cindy told me to come in and we would figure it all out. When I went in I was scared and nervous and still very upset about loosing my grandma. Her receptionist was extremely kind but Cindy came out and greeted me at the door as well. I assumed the girl up front would buzz her or go and tell her I was there. Cindy coming out and greeting me was very nice. We went to her office and she had already done a lot of the work for me. Which felt good because I couldn't stop crying and was embarrassed and I thought I'd be there for hours. I do feel she went above and beyond to help me in the situation and also talked to me about my loss and it felt good to hear what she said. She helped me a lot more then she had to. So I would recommend her to everyone. She is smart and has a great memory and had contacted me to help with other things. Plus they offer more things. They offer credit cards at good rates, life insurance which is very cheap. Since my mom is ill and can't work or make money, life insurance on me would be the only way for my mom to survive. I know so any places offer it. But at the low cost and the large amount my mom would get. I couldn't pass it up. Cindy is the one that mentioned it and I was grateful, I was scared my mom would be alone and have nothing so this was needed. So a special thank u to Cindy and her assistant for everything.

I have been with this company for almost 10 years and the level of service has steadily gone down…read moreover the years. Their rates have gotten so bad that one of their employees even suggested that I go with another company because she said I could find better rates elsewhere. So I took her advice and finally called to cancel my service. She was right, I had been paying more for car insurance that I was for my monthly car note. Insane! When I called to cancel my service they renegotiated my rate and told me that all of sudden I now qualify for a rate that was $600 less than what I had been paying before. I agreed to stay on with them and waited for the next bill. What followed is that within the next two months $800 was debited out of my checking account for two months of insurance. That is even more than what I was paying before! When I called to complain the person who lied to me about the discounted rate acknowledged her error and said she would find a way to pay me back. When she didn't return my last call, I followed up the next morning and spoke with Barbara who provided me with the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She proceeded to tell me that if it were up to her she would not be refunding me my money (even though they mistakenly double billed me for the same month). She proceeded to tell me about some issue she was having with her husband and how she didn't feel she should have to listen to me complain about my injustice. Are you serious?! I told her I was on a break at work and didn't have time to listen to her rant. Assisting customers is part of her job and I was simply calling to confirm if my message was relayed regarding my reimbursement. The call proceeded to go down hill, and I am completely stunned that people think this kind of behavior is acceptable and then act like the customer is the one in the wrong if we complain about it. I will definitely be switching to another auto insurance provider. Insurance is way too high in the state of Michigan to have to put up with this kind of insanity. To make matters worse, when I called the new insurance provider for a quote they informed me that every time I used roadside assistance with Lynn Early State Farm, it was registered in the system as an accident claim and since It is now showing that I have claims on my insurance my rate skyrocketed. I have no points and have never filed an accident claim. Being billed over $400 for a month of car insurance is absolutely insane when you have a Toyota Corolla with no points, a perfect driving record, are over 40 yrs old and have not been in any accidents. I will most definitely be contacting the Corporate office about this. This is completely unacceptable!!! Luckily even with all the damage done by Lynn Early State Farm, I was still able to find a better rate with a reputable insurance company and will be paying $100 less per month.
