It made the experience cute and fun. There's a very small counter bar where you can eat it after. I preferred the caramel s'more over the berry. It had a much richer flavor. I do wish the marshmallow was a tad bigger/smokier/meltier inside. Being only torched doesn't allow that deep melted marshmallow pull to happen, and I missed that. Overall a very cute place with nice staff. I think it's a fun stop for a one time try. I might come back if there's an interesting seasonal flavor.

As mentioned in the first bullet point under "Brief Summary," on the first Saturday we were able to visit their store and bought some desserts. However on the second Saturday, we looked and walked around the whole park but they were nowhere to be found. I'm not sure if they arrive at this Farmer's Market bi-weekly, so the second week just happened to be a random day off, I'm not sure. There was a line forming three feet away from the cake's display cases, and after we were lining up, one of the staff members handed us a number card. When they called, that was the time for us to pick and choose the cakes. There were a ton of different cakes to choose from. Some of them were the ones I saw as yelp photos, and some I have never seen them before. A whole treasure trove of pretty cakes to choose from, it was very difficult to narrow it down to the ones we wanted. In the photo, it only contains three, but we have also ordered small cookies and a fluffy soufflé cheesecake. This cheesecake, we ate soon after we bought it. The texture is brittle but moist, so it's not the typical dense and creamy version. (I liked this one because the post-mouthfeel is light). The cookies were nice shortbread cookies; airy and buttery. We bought two different types: original and strawberry, and I liked the original more. I tasted the strawberry flavor in the second one but I preferred the sweetness in the first (the strawberry cookie had a tartier flavor from the strawberry) I don't recall the exact names of the three cakes that are shown in the photo, but there was a coffee chocolate parfait, the cream brûlée, and the grapefruit fruit tart. The three desserts were not too sweet and also not too decadent, so these we slurped up with our spoons like it was nothing. My favorite was the coffee parfait because of the creamy top and the refreshing coffee jelly underneath. I mixed the contents together because on their own they don't have the magic pop.

The folks at this sweet little bakery provided excellent customer service, and shared some really helpful recommendations. I was pleasantly surprised to see they offer plenty of gluten-free options as well! We ordered a dozen cookies for $40, and they were perfectly packaged in two cute little cube boxes. Each of the cookies are presented vertically in the box, with the name of the cookie conveniently printed in plain view! This attention to detail thrills me, and lets me know Nate's puts a lot of thought into customer experience. The staff recommendations were spot-on because the cookies were a huge hit with our friends. Soft and chewy in the middle, and cruchy and crumbly outside; these cookies really are fantastic! Minh, the owner, the matter how busy it gets, is always so personable and enthusiastic. She brought two visions for two of my daughters' birthday themes to life within a reasonable range. One was a Mermaid birthday and the other Avatar themed. Both times we picked a pandan cake layered with pandan buttercream. Wow the structure held up very well after thawing out for a few hours. Cake was incredibly soft and moist without being too sweet. The Asian flavors mixed with a conventional American twist made for the perfect marriage. I really hope this bakery does well.
