The last time I saw this cafe I was many years younger and my brother and I called it the witches…read morecottage. Not at all meant as a negative; we thought the shape of the building was magical. After exploring the area my partner and I stopped here for lunch. I ordered the tandoori chicken wrap from the specials board and found it to be a decent size and refreshing with the salad filling. I could definitely taste the tandoori flavour and the yoghurt as sauce finished it nicely. My partner was also happy to find $5 special coronas. The icing on the cake for me though was the $2 cinnamon doughnuts. The most delicious doughnut of all time. Oddly shaped, sadly a little too small and lacking the signature hole but so delicate with a similar taste to vanilla cake. I loved it!

When my BLT arrived it was enormous! But surprisingly easy to eat as the bread was nice and soft and not hard and crumbling to pieces. The taste was very nice despite some of the bacon didn't seem particularly cooked at all, rather just cured and warmed. More like ham really. There was a lot of lettuce but it was still a nice flavour with the aioli. The chips weren't the greatest I've seen but still tasted good. I was also able to get a corona for the $5 special which is always a bonus. When leaving we got two of the fresh made doughnuts which were delicious, the only thing I didn't like was I wanted them to be bigger!
