Okay, this isn't exactly a beachside park, but it is close enough to the beach to be considered one. Then again being on the Gold Coast you generally aren't all that far from the beach anyway. This is another one of those parks that you find throughout Australia that has a memorial for those who died in foreign wars. The park is quite nice, though I probably wouldn't call it peaceful considering that it does happen to be located in the heart of Burleigh Heads. read more

This is basically a foreshore park, but it is actually quite a nice one. Then again, I probably…read moreshouldn't be all that surprised since it happens to be located a Burleigh Heads, which is one of the more popular parts of the Gold Coast. There are some really nice and shady trees here, and the grass is also quite nice. Oh, and there are some quite decent facilities here as well.
