From day one, Oscar and his team were beyond professional and a real pleasure to work with. The original bid we received was clear and well-organized. After signing, the team continued to show great care and attention to detail throughout the project. Super clean A+ work in everything top to bottom, from the mortar and grouting to the footers and steel. Even more, the team found ways to optimize the construction schedule and build quality from what was originally planned. Their communication with the project team of architects, engineers and various inspectors proved invaluable; and their execution of more technical elements such as the pour-in-place garage lintel and weeping mortar accents were commendable. I would absolutely recommend working with Castillo Masonry to anyone else. You'll be glad you did!

They took the time to understand our vision, offered helpful suggestions, and delivered exactly what they promised--beautiful, high-quality masonry that truly elevated our home. One of the nicest most reliable contractors we have ever worked with. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch masonry work and would gladly hire them again. His attention to detail and commitment to beauty and quality shows in every inch of the work he has done in my home (full to-the-studs bathroom design/remodel, full wall and ceiling smooth re-surfacing and paint, in-wall AC installations, major slab repair and luxury porcelain tile installation throughout, recessed lighting installation, lightning fast demolition including kitchen, electrical upgrade, and meticulous cleanup - he even swept my walkway which he did not need to do). The integrity with which he runs his business is just as great as his artistic skill. He provided an accurate estimate, a transparent contract, detailed and complete weekly invoices, and all receipts for materials purchased on the same day of purchase. For the quality he serves up, the price is not just competitive, it's a bargain. I walk through my home and feel so happy! I look forward to working with Jeremy again on the exterior phase of my home upgrade.

This included siding, windows, doors, insulation, drywall, electrical, plumbing, cabinets/counters, paint, and all finish work. Jeremy's own work is impressive - he also managed all subcontractors professionally/effectively and stayed within scope. It's worth mentioning that aside from the large, routine elements (siding, insulation, rough plumbing, paint, etc) he also handled the unique, bespoke elements (plywood accent wall, sleeping loft, wood slat accents) with precision. The home has now been used/lived in for a few years and is holding up impeccably. Jeremy also warranties his work, though he hasn't really needed to with my home. I'd recommend Jeremy/CDD to anyone.
