What a mess. I advise that you avoid this store. This place is extremely cluttered and disorganized. I had half the mind to turn around immediately but I figured since I'd already made the drive, I might as well peruse the selection. Quick synopsis: barely a half-decent selection and over-priced (even paying a few bucks more than a competitor 3 minutes down the road is annoying). The employees were apathetic and not helpful at all. I asked them where I could find a specific wine and they just pointed and said, "it's over there." Honestly, it looks like the owner just went to Colfax and grabbed a couple people off the street at random and put them to work - their performance surely seems that way. I by no means have high standards when it comes to liquor stores, nor do I expect world-class service everywhere I go. With that said, it's not difficult to clean up and/or simply hire employees that have some semblance of a desire to help. I usually don't write scathing reviews, I'd prefer to good reviews, commending employees and/or owners for their hard work. Stopped in here for a couple tall Margs for the parks. I was pleasantly surprised they had a brand I'd never seen. While whizzing through to the cold coolers, I noticed they seemed to have a good selection of hard liquors, wines & various craft beers. The dude at checkout was super friendly. He asked me if he could help me find anything. Store was clean & well organized. read more

Trust me when I say the cashier at this place, Kai, turned my around! After a very terrible day at work I headed to this store to purchase a 750 of vodka. I walked straight to the counter and asked if he knew if they had a plastic 750 bottle of this particular brand ( don't hate, just fits in my freezer better.) He then explained most helpfully that yes, more than likely they do have it in stock just down aisle "blah blah blah.) I then said "oh shoot well I have two herniated lumber disk and am in a lot of pain and don't wanna walk around so I will just take pints (which are behind the counter.) Without hesitation he said nay nay that would be more expensive. Then went from behind the counter to go find it himself! Owner (Danny) tries to flip bottles allocated for his store online for 10x retail price. He's part of the problem with the whiskey industry these days. In addition, he clearly knows absolutely nothing about some of the products that he is supposed to be selling in this store, and it would do him good to do even 5 minutes of research into what it is he hopes to pawn off on the next customer that manages to be even more naive than he. read more

BASS ACKWARDS. I went in there yesterday to buy some birthday beer for a friend. Their selection was pretty limited so I asked the owner if there were any other beers located in a different area of the store or if that was all he had. The owner went into the cooler and grabbed a mixed box of really nice beers BUT he informed me that he wouldn't sell any of them to me because I wasn't a repeat customer. The end result was me leaving with a bottle that I could've bought just about anywhere (probably for cheaper) and the feeling that I had just been excluded from this dudes fraternity. If he treats each new customer like an outsider, why would anybody ever return? read more

Mike and Jimmy have thee upmost customer service and took care of my friend and myself like family when we had a technological mishap. Then he will tell you to go get on Facebook where he is attempting to sell the bottles he is allocated from the distributor on the secondary market for 10x the retail amount. After searching two other nearby liquor stores for a specific niche beer, I finally found what I was looking for at Tamarind Yard Liquor & Cigar! They have a great selection of beer, wine and spirits at fair market or cheaper prices so what else could you ask for?? Well, after getting stuck in a heavy thunderstorm on foot at this store, the owners offered me a ride home! This is obviously not an advertised service, however their kindness and generosity was very much appreciated and speaks volumes for the character of these owners. Any business that offers a quality product, at a good value, with above and beyond customer service is a business that deserves to be supported. They have certainly made a loyal customer out of me! read more
