I have been working with Tamara for over a year and have a WEEKLY appointment. My body was bound from 6 surgeries over a 2 year period and a recent one just a year ago. She is truly an angel. I had a double mastectomy with latissimus reconstruction. Basically, they cut the lat muscle off and bring it to the front to replace the breast tissue that is removed. It may be a bit TMI, but important, because I believe that this surgery is what damaged my body. I was left with numbness around my torso, constant pain and tightness with inability to take big breaths. I am a very active person and am committed to my recovery. I was referred to Tamara and I wish I had gone years earlier. She has reversed issues that I thought I would have to live with the rest of my life. This is the second time I've gone to Tamara Renee for nutritional advice. The first time was over a year ago when I had just become a personal trainer (after 25 years as an accountant) and my calorie intake almost doubled. "Sensible eating" wasn't making sense to my body and I suffered from digestive issues as well as intermittent energy and constant hunger! After I did the DNA test and Tamara prescribed a nutrition plan that was appropriate for me all my symptoms disappeared and my energy became steady. So now, a year and a half later, I was tired of my own menus using Tamara's nutrition plan and bought a month's worth of meal plans from Tamara. The variety has been really fun and foods that were in my "occasionally" and "use sparingly" list that I never included before I actually get to have when grouped correctly with other staples from my plan. Who knew I'd like fava beans & bone broth for breakfast! Who knew pineapple and avocado would taste so good combined!
