    Tamara and her Bodylab really get you the results you're looking for. I have been working with Tamara for over 10 years. I have done nutrition counseling- she is knowledgeable and can pinpoint food intolerances and ways to improve your daily life and how you're feeling. Body sculpting- amazing results especially when combined with a nutrition plan, and my most recent obsession the skinTIGHT see photo. Tamara is keeping me looking and more importantly feeling young and I'm going to be 50 soon . Love Tamara!

Be careful, I received a Yelp notification that Jeff the business owner had responded to me and i failed to look at his adjustments. I went to view his response and noticed he is not being accurate. You can see my yelp reviews on this business as I visited Deborah Wainwright for a several years before she left this organization. Listen when people tell you who they are. Drove by Koi wellbeing and Deborah Wainwright's photo is still on the front screen. Which is odd in itself. Jeff and I chatted before when I left my initial review, I adjusted that review based on that conversation. Now I see Jeff added more content and is straight up not being factual in his response and using my review as his launching pad.

Super thorough, answered all my questions, and gave helpful feedback. The procedure itself was painless. They applied numbing cream beforehand and walked me through each step, which made the whole experience really comfortable. One thing to note, there is a $35 consultation fee that I didn't realize until checkout. That said, not a big deal. Well worth it! Both times I've visited, he was present and personally engaged in my treatment, which made me feel like I was receiving a much higher level of care. I've had inconsistent results with Botox at other places in the past, so I really appreciated that he took the time to ensure I felt confident in my results and even offered to make any adjustments after two weeks if needed. That level of accountability is rare. On top of that, he remembered small details I had shared about my life, which made the experience feel personal rather than transactional. It's clear he genuinely cares about his clients and his business, and that standard carries through to his team. Overall, an outstanding experience and a place I'd confidently return to, Groupon or not.

The type of laser equipment they have makes it a pretty painless experience which I appreciate since the last time I got laser hair removal 15+ years ago out of state, it was SO painful. I'm glad technology has advanced and that LUV prioritizes the best equipment. The mixture of cold air and the laser really helps to dim any pain or discomfort. The nurses are always really friendly and caring. Sometimes my skin will react with bumps and they're quick to give me cream. I just wish they had a closer location in the South Bay but it's worth the drive. For parking, always plan enough time since it can be tricky with street parking in La Jolla. Also, depending on the time of your appointment, you might get lucky with front row street parking. The LUV team is super communicative.     STAY AWAY from this center because of the office manager, Amber…read more I love CoastMed and found the staff to be so helpful in North County, in addition to this Clairemont location *prior* to Amber arriving. Long story short, I called about the MIC shots they offer and was informed by the person on the phone of the package price. When I arrived, it was Amber (the office manager) sitting at the desk. She was on the phone and I waited patiently for her to finish the call. She finished the call and didn't look up at me once. She continued working and ignoring me. I waited another full minute before then asking for her assistance. Already she had demonstrated her lack of care for customers and service. When I queried about the MIC shots and the package pricing, she informed me it was a different/higher pricing. I explained to her that I was quoted differently/less. She rolled her eyes, scoffed and said that it was incorrect, and I had to pay the higher price she informed me off. I replied stating to her that while I was happy to pay the different rate, I would appreciate the office staff being informed/trained better on prices so they can provide accurate quotes. From here, things escalated, because Amber continued to be unapologetic and started to be condescending. I repeated to her many times that I was not upset about the price, AND, willing to pay full price - however it mattered to me principally, that staff were trained in providing accurate price quotes. Her condescension continued. I explained that, with me purchasing a package, paid at full price, I did not want her to treat me as a practitioner for the MIC shots. How could anyone be expected to feel comfortable pulling down their pants for glute shots and stepping on the scale and discussing weight issues with Amber, with her awful manner. Her reply word-for-word when I stated that I only wanted to see other employees at the office location for the MIC shots: "Well good luck with that, I'M the office manager". I could go on, but in a nutshell - while I love CoastMed, I think that people should be WARNED of staying away from this location purely because of Amber. I visited Clairemont CoastMed often the year prior, (Amber was not part of the team at this time), and would happily visit in the future once she is gone/fired (because how could anyone with her lack of social skill last in a customer service oriented job). I'm also certain that if she's the one to respond on Yelp to my review, she'll make up lies about me and insist I was arguing about price. Not true. I brought up price once, said I would be happy to pay full price, but would appreciate a commitment that staff would be trained better in quoting accurate prices. The issue was *not* over price, but rather, over Amber's lack of professional attitude (to say the least), and her insulting, condescending tone. She also deferred any responsibility "well I certainly wasn't the one to quote you that price, I would remember". This is coming from the Office Manager, people. I'd expect such a response from a 12 year old. I feel sorry for anyone who has to ever interact with her, and more importantly, I feel sorry for all the staff members she's in charge of, that no doubt know how awful she is. While she was on her high horse and (pathetic) power trip, one of the junior staff members caught my eye and mouthed 'sorry'. Clearly, anyone who works with Amber, knows full well of her blatant disregard for common courtesy. Here's hoping she's gone from the Clairemont location soon, so it can return back to what it used to be - professional, welcoming, and friendly. (Also, FYI, if you look at my prior Yelp reviews, I've left nothing negative for any businesses. I love to see businesses excel and support them. I also tried to reach out to the owner of CoastMed to pass on this feedback privately, however had no followup. As such, I felt that it was necessary to share and WARN others about avoiding this location now, due to Amber).
