I called Steve the day of to beg for an appointment. "I'll take any time for any length. I'll take even 10 minutes, if you got it," I implored. I was able to get an hour long massage at 4PM. Steve Ayton was so kind and endearing. Most places ask about your job for the purpose of the massage, but Steve actually absorb the information and what it meant for my body aches and adhered to requests I had: I wanted a total body reset and he delivered. Rather than asking for what pressure I like, he said he'd use the physical pressure he felt was appropriate and I could ask for adjustments, which I felt took the emotional pressure off myself to choose and I immediately relaxed. I swear the moment he started working on my calves, I checked out for a moment of total nirvana and my feet? Forget it. The incredible pain I came in with was simply gone by the end of our session. His office is in a large old wooden house on the street with a salon downstairs but it's insulated well enough and I hardly noticed the small noise as the massage was so good. I highly recommend Steve and his caring touch. I know I'll be recommending him to other travel guides that visit Gettysburg with sore feet.

Also putting pressure on my great vessels (aorta/ IVC). The doctor ignored an abnormal ECG and lab work that was grossly abnormal. They didn't consider me an "emergency". My family was mortified and felt helpless. Drs. Fraley and Sandlin were horrible. They were patronizing and told me:"It's JUST a hernia." My primary care said: "Yeah, they really need to improve." ALSO, Fraley put down that I left after getting pain meds. Insinuating that I was a drug seeker to cover her ass. I was 30 years on the clinical floor. I'm not the one to mess with. There is no clear verbal explanation of potential fees. I had to cancel two appointments for legitimate reasons. Both times, I called the morning of the appointment and was told it was "fine." At no point during either call was I informed that I would be charged a fee. When I later rescheduled, I was hit with a $70 "rescheduling fee" -- $35 for each cancellation. This was never mentioned when I called. Transparency matters, and this felt deceptive. To make matters worse, on the day of my most recent appointment, the office cancelled on me. Did I receive a credit? A refund? An apology paired with policy consistency? No. Apparently the fee policy only applies one way. Policies are understandable. Lack of transparency and double standards are not. After this appointment, I will be finding a new dental provider -- one that prioritizes patient communication, fairness, and mutual respect over rigid policies and revenue protection. If you're considering this office, make sure you ask very specific questions about their cancellation policy -- and get everything clarified upfront.
