There were significant delays getting the job started due to a combination of rain and Apprize was suffering from employee problems. A job that was supposed to start mid summer didn't start until October. In September I had to threaten to cancel the contract if the job didn't start soon. The delay meant the job didn't finish until November. Over the course of the winter in 2018/2019 the newly installed driveway heaved significantly (3+ inches 5 ft from the garage door) and my garage ended up back-filling with water when things started to thaw. Then my garage door froze because the bottom was 2 inches under water, buried in ice when it refroze. The customer service I received was terrible; Denis had no interest in fixing my problem and I had to threaten him with litigation to get him to do something to fix it. I argued that the entire driveway needed to be ripped up and reinstalled. He said that I just need new polymeric sand. I agreed to his suggested fix in the summer of 2019. During the winter of 2019/2020 the driveway heaved again and I had a repeat of the problems from the previous winter. Now Denis tells me that he wants to replace the sand again and that he is unwilling to do anything further to address my concerns. He says that the quality of the clay soil under my driveway is the problem and that he can't do anything about that. He didn't warn me that any of this might occur during installation and now I find myself with a driveway that floods my garage in winter that I paid over $13K for. I would rather have my old beat up asphalt drive back - it didn't heave and flood my driveway. I can't urge you strongly enough to avoid this company; their poor customer service and refusal to stand behind their work means that you might be in for the same experience I am having..

Since I've made the complaint to Medusa, they've done nothing, saying I should wait till March and they will return to see what can be done? That's 10 months after they paved? They ignore calls now, and will only respond via text. They actually sub contract out the paving, not told to me at any time until there was an issue, and kept telling me he would check with the contractor, but of course never did. On March 21/19, I noticed a couple stains on the ceiling of one of the bedrooms. They said they had to dig further for a better base etc. Well every year since it has cracked. In fairness they did come back and fix it but last year they said it was the last year. This year the cracks are the worst every. I thought by paying double, getting a better base we would not have this problem but here we are. Some friends have commented on how horrible our cracks are this year. Bulgari said it is because there is clay in our area and it shifts. I know of 2 other people close by who got theirs done before us and they didn't have any problems and their quote was bang on. I am very disappointed and therefore would not recommend them.
