I am SO happy that Corey has been SO good to everyone…read more THAT has NOT been MY experience. He ghosted us for 6 months over a start date. Then he showed up when we were looking for another roofer because Corey did not communicate with us for months, even though we tried to communicate with him. We left VM's and sent emails and nothing for 6 months. Our roof did leak over the winter, we hired Corey because he said he would get it done before the winter. We hired him in September of 2025 of a job to start at he end of October beginning of November he said. He called us, after all that time of ghosting us, in June of 2026. 7 months after he said he would start the job. So, he lied about the start date and the fact he could get the job done before winter. Had I known I would have gone up and done some patches myself but I am old so, I stupidly waited for him, trusting him to keep to his word and the contract, until it was just too late--we had 36 cm of snow so, I said to my wife, "Well I guess we're gonna have a leak upstairs this year." Of course, we did. More clean up and drywall repair. Thanks Corey. My son wants me to be reasonable with Corey and Aquila. I am done with all that. Being reasonable is getting us no where with Aquila. We need to be unreasonable for a month or so and then sue his ass when he doesn't come. I truly believe he won't come. He has made more than a few promises about start dates, arrivals, promises and assurances and all for nothing-we STILL have the leaky roof over the winter, we still have a leaking roof NOW after he's done his work so I am so close to calling a lawyer now, I am 99.9% done with Corey. He has a 1% chance to come make this right or fuck him I sue his ass. I have proof of everything, I keep a very, very clear paper trail. This is not my first fucking rodeo! My garden equipment and my spare wood has all been ruined by water now. Thanks Corey. Will you be paying for all that Oak and Maple also? I doubt it, it will be a nightmare to get you back to fix your work-if you even come back before I just call my lawyer and tell him to go ahead and try to take you for everything you have over this. Buyer beware when it comes to Aquila, maybe stick to some big names, they might be more expensive but NONE of this BULLSHIT will happen to you. With Corey, apparently, judging from some of his reviews, it's a crap shoot, you might get great work and service (NOT BEEN MY EXPERIENCE!!!!!!) then again you might end up like me. DO you REALLY want to spend 10's of thousands of dollars on this chance? You do me right and maybe I'll come back here give you a 3 stars but no more than that just for the crappy experience! AND I WILL NOT CHANGE this review, I might edit it to say you came back to make things right and good on you but, that's as far as I go. You have completely and 100% totally pissed me off with your mis-handling of this situation. MY FUCKING ROOF IS LEAKING WATER INTO THE INSIDE OF MY BUILDING COREY- AFTER YOU WORKED ON IT, IT LEAKED, BEFORE NO LEAK, it was a brand fucking new roof before you started work on it - I can PROVE THAT WITH RECEIPTS FROM DEN'S ROOFING!!!. It looked like the shingles near the electrical stack were starting to lift. I called Burnham Brothers on a Friday and they came by the following Monday and fixed the problem. They also walked around the roof and stuck down any other shingles that looked like they were lifting. The fix was free as it was covered under the warranty. These guys are really reliable and they stand by their work. I totally recommend them for any roofing services.

Jorgensons price was competitive, providing good value, and the sales rep we invited to speak to us was honest, knew his products and explained their process. They were able to accommodate our preferred timing. They communicated through the process and answered all of our questions. Crews arrived on time, and worked hard to get the job done well. I was very impressed with the steps they took to prevent any damage to our property. Unlike other roofing companies I have seen in the area, there was no loud music played while they worked, no swearing or yelling. They worked long days and crews were respectful and considerate. On March 21/19, I noticed a couple stains on the ceiling of one of the bedrooms. I called Clayton (A-1 owner) who promptly came to investigate at which time he discovered some damage, incurred quite possibly by raccoons. I was really happy that he was able to repair it right then on the spot. He was also very helpful in giving some great advise and information on roofing. Our large bungalow in Dunrobin was in dire need of new shingles. We contacted Magnum Roofing along…read morewith several other respected roofing firms in the Ottawa area for a detailed quote. Steve got right back to us and did a detailed estimate based upon actual measurements up on the roof (as opposed to others who use Google satellite views to do their estimates). Magnum was nowhere near the most expensive quote nor were they the cheapest either (but not by much). Steve was happy to answer all my questions about shingles, pricing, options, availability, etc. We elected to use the GAF Roofing system choosing the Timberline HD (Pewter Grey) shingles. One of the subtle deciding factors for us to use Magnum was their advertised dedication to assisting Christie Lake Kids Camp, a charity very close to our hearts. "Magnum Roofing supports Christie Lake Kids in the form of both financial donations and by providing roofing work to their facilities at no charge." Nice to see a firm giving back to the community. A couple of the crew arrived the evening before the job was to start to place the dump trailer in position and begin to get setup. In this way the early 7:00am start would not involve noisy trucks, etc potentially bothering us or neighbors. The crew of 7 showed up at exactly 7:00am and got right to it. Our roof was completed in just over 1 1/2 days (183 bundles so a large job by any measure) just as Steve had predicted. Not a single complaint was heard of the heat, the bugs, the heavy bundles of shingles or any other condition the crew faced. There was no excessive use of profanities, loud radios, etc so common in these industries. All of the crew parked on the street so as not to block our driveway for us. In short a very courteous bunch of talented guys. Upon completion the entire crew meticulously walked the perimeter scouring the ground for any nails, bits of shingle, plastic or other debris. Our evestroughs were all cleaned out, the shingle courses were dead straight, the vents were all installed correctly and drip edge was installed. The entire GAF system of waterproof membrane, deck protection, starter shingles, ridge caps, etc was used and installed per GAF specification. Would I recommend Magnum Roofing to a friend? You bet I would. They absolutely scored a 10 out of 10 in every aspect of the job (and I'm a pretty picky guy). Every one of the crew knew their role and operated as a coordinated, well oiled machine. We had onsite visits both days by lead job foreman Dave to ensure all was well and that expectations were being met. Admittedly having a roof shingled isn't the most glamorous way to spend your hard earned money but it is certainly a great sense of security to know it's been done right and should be trouble free for many years to come. What a difference! Call Magnum.
