A waste of money. Very poor job done removing the snow. If you call, the people on the phone are very snarky and rude. We had a giant street plow come by and box our driveway in. When we called the worry free company for help, they refused to come back and remove it. What are we paying them for? Useless and incompetent. Choose a different company or receive spotty, underwhelming snow removal from these louts. read more

I rent an apartment in a house, and we share a driveway. I called hoping they could plow half of the driveway where I live since my neighbor doesn't want to share the cost. It's essentially a double sort of driveway like a townhome driveway. I spoke to the road manager with much resistance and not helping at all. He said they can't do it because there was no where to put a stake. My partner called and was told it could be done so I was very relieved. So when I phoned back today to make arrangements, and was not able to speak to the person my partner was dealing with and instead spoke to a very cold and rude employee who basically told me My driveway cannot be plowed. They were rude and unaccommodating. Didn't seem to care at all. She certainly let me know I didn't know what I was talking about. Horrible customer service. I'll keep looking. read more

Worry Free is a terrible, unprofessional, untimely company. Do not rely on them to actually come and clear your driveway because it is very likely that they wont. They will take your money and act like they don't owe you a service. read more

Their service is spotty at best. One time last year they didn't come back after the city plow had blocked the drive, and my wife could not get her car in, resulting in a parking ticket. Although they generally get the initial plowing job done ok, getting them to come back and do the walk (as per our contract) requires a number of phone calls. Yet the neighbour across the street is done! They advertise being a member of the Better Business Bureau, and I am considering filing a complaint. read more

Well what can I say nice other than the name sounded great at first but the first year was starting good but quickly went downhill with inconsistent service times when snow removal was needed most. I tried working around their service times hoping to leave for work before they arrived only to see my laneway still covered when I returned from work and to make matters worse being met with a city street plow mountain in front of my laneway making it impossible to drive in so left with no other choice I pulled out a shovel and dug my way in. I called Worry Free regarding my concern and was told that with so many clients these things could happen, ok fair enough. I spoke to my wife about using this service a second time this year and we both agreed that let's give them a second chance because I'm sure they will have added more workers to accommodate the rise in demand. Well I was wrong assuming that things had changed and Just like last year we are back with inconsistent service times in fact worse than ever! In fact, just last week we had a huge snowfall while sitting at home waiting in anticipating for worry free to plow my laneway and with joy I ran to my window seeing beacon lights flashing only to see a competitor snow removal service plowing my neighbor. I said ok ours should be arriving soon. Finally, I had seen a beacon light flashing and said better late than never so I opened my garage door and a different competitor snow removal service plowing my neighbor on the left. Later that evening my wife called me to ask how was the laneway was and did the city plow pass as yet, I replied city street plow had passed but it was not removed as yet and to make matters worse our laneway was still not done and to add to insult the first competitor snow removal service was across the street removing the snow mountain left in front of their home on a second visit. My wife then mentioned to me I thought the laneway would have been done by now because by chance she had seen one of the worry free tractor plows parked literally in front of Inspired Cannabis at the Convent Glen Shopping Centre. Needless to say my wife parked in the street and called worry free and was told snow fall was more than usual and many of the drivers would be starting later to ensure better removal. A lot good that did us with me leaving for work and my wife's car in the street. Well back to pulling out a shovel once again. Please note that I am not a troll that loves giving bad feedback but next year it's another service or buy a snow blower because I am tired of worrying. read more

Our family has used Worry Free snow removal for three years now. The first year in 2016-2017, since they were still a small company, their service was good; they always came at an appropriate hour. However that changed in 2017-2018, as they came later and later and sometimes we would have to contact their office for them to confirm a driver was coming to plow our driveway. As we tried to remain loyal customers to a company, we decided to go with them in 2018-2019; this was a big mistake. We just had a snowfall at the end of March 2019; the driver came in the early hours of approximately 4:00am-4:45am; when I woke up to get ready for work, I noticed that the back of my vehicle was not plowed as normally the driver would plow a little. As I went out to plow the back of my vehicle, I noticed a deep scrap off the paint of my vehicle which that piece fell on the driveway. The driver must have came in with his plow and as he reversed hit the vehicle which this is the reason why he didn't complete the job. Number 1, mistakes happen, the driver never came forward to advise this had occurred. I contacted Worry Free to advise this happened. I will not be going with this company next year. They were ok last year except they did the doorsteps 1 out of 3 times. Worst client service ever, don't bother calling for complaints.

The only reason they are getting 2 stars from me is because I've seen they've done decent work in the area. BUT their customer service SUCKS. I just called to get a quote and the woman who answered the phone was demeaning and outright RUDE. Felt like I was being spoken to as though I was an idiot! I ended up hanging up on her, after telling her I'm taking my business elsewhere. If they want to grow their business, they should invest in some damn customer service. I truly hope someone from this company reads this. read more

Terrible!!!!!!!! What a waste of $400. Yesterdays snow fall (Feb 16) was huge! It started snowing in the morning..but WF only cleared my driveway at 7:30PM! Where were you all day? And even that clearing was garbage. Then I woke in the morning to find the city had piled the road snow at the end of the driveway..and NO WORRY-FREE! I had to shovel a path to get my car out to go to work. I called at 6:45 and the guy said "I'll see what I can do". It's 10:00am and still no service. Guess he couldn't do much. I think these guys have gotten too big, too many customers to give proper service. A few of my neighbours have Green Acres and their driveways were cleared. No way will I renew with these clowns next year. UPDATE: Noon and still no sign of them. I called and asked why my neigbours with another company were cleared at 7:00..and she HUNG UP ON ME! read more

It's my 3rd year hiring this company and my last year. They always come way after the snow'falls and cant get out all day. They don't even clear my driveway properly I have to do almost have my laneway becasue their machine cannot reach in front of garages properly. Terrible customer service and unreliable for the price you pay you would expect way better service. I do not recommend this company. read more

I have been a customer for around 7 years. The service has always been good. They generally do a quick single pass, then after the city ploughs have been by, they clear fully. They come the next day and if the sidewalk or street plough has been by again, they clear that. I have found them willing to correct operator errors quickly. read more

We have a daughter in a wheelchair and pay for snow removal of our driveway and walkway as I work nights at the hospital and we do not want her unable to get out of the house in case of fire. This is our third year using their service and were happy in the past but this year they did not even clean our wheelchair ramp as per the contract and in fact dumped the snow from the driveway onto the ramp that I had to clean up myself. Don't recommend their service for anyone handicapped as you might die if there was a fire in your house - you would not get out. Calls the worry free did not rectify our problem. Worst customer service ever! Monique and Denis the owners are the rudest people ever. this year has been incredibly mild, there has only been about 4 large snow dumps however 3 out of 4 times I have had to call to report that the driver did not come. Every time they are extremely rude. Monique does not even bother to call back. Denis calls back but makes it clear that he does not care about your complaint and the driver will get there when he gets there. The driver usually comes about 3 hours later. if you need a reliable snow removal service go with anybody else. My neighbors literally laugh at how poor the service is. On January 4th I watched JJ's snow removal service come for the second time that day to clear my neighbors drive as I was still waiting for Worry free to make an appearance. read more

I have no idea what their service is like or how they stay in business. I called to check on a quote and it was a chore for the lady that answered the phone to go and look for the quotation. I was trying to figure out if a service had been included in the price and she had basically said "if you asked for it, it's there". The only way I could sign up was to come in with my cheques and sign the paperwork. No credit cards and no email--hard to beleive a business can function like that. 2015 First snowfall of the season. A very poor response from Worry-Free. I had to shovel to get out in the morning. Worry-Free came at noon after the plough had been by and didn't come back again until 8pm the next night ! By that time I had shoveled twice. In addition. Worry-Free never did a decent job at the front of the driveway. Finally, it is impossible to get through to them by phone. All round very disappointing customer service.The 6 other customers on my street feel the same way. read more
