We used to love this place, coming often for Sunday roast or other evenings for meals and a drink…read moreor two. Atmosphere was great, staff were great and food was great. However, recently we are finding that food is not as good quality as what it used to be and we had to either ask to warm up the dish or change it all together. And when the dish is returned to our table we find it as cold as what it was before or not as tasty as before. We live locally and we loved coming here for a relaxing evening. I am sorry to say that we are now thinking of not returning to this place anymore and find another restaurant where we can find quality food, atmosphere and staff. I don't normally give my opinion if we don't like a restaurant, we just don't return if we don't like it. But I thought I had to write something this time hoping that the staff or management take notice and improve so other people enjoy the place and food as we used to.

Love this place, especially on a sunny day when you can sit outside. Tad close to a busy road but…read morelocated high enough that you look out onto the fields. You can't book outside, so it's turn up and hope for the best. Inside There's two sections, a more relaxed area to the right, where you seat yourself and order at the bar. Another area to the left. where it's table service. The food is lovely, I usually try something different each time and I've yet to order something I don't like. Last time I had chicken pie, delish but a wee bit dry, which is unusual. The last time I went I had a voucher, from a local paper for a free dessert but they usually have a lunch and dinner deal, where you can add a dessert for £2. Well priced at £11 for two courses.
