The building has been moved from its original location. The caboose next door is about ten years younger than the depot building. The depot is now the headquarters of the Littleton Fine Arts Guild which is celebrating its 55th anniversary in 2017. Most of the building is devoted to the Depot Art Gallery which regularly presents work by the members of the Fine Arts Guild and, occasionally, broader shows. The caboose is sometimes pressed into service as additional gallery space (rather difficult to access, unfortunately, via a very steep iron staircase). The depot building is owned by the City of Littleton and maintained by the Fine Arts Guild. Art shows are presented in the Baggage, Ticket, and Waiting rooms. The spaces are a little cramped and the quality of the art is variable, but this is a good place to find a bargain by a local artist. A wide variety of media is exhibited, including painting, sculpture, photography, pottery, and jewelry. There is lots of free parking and admission is free. I find it hard to keep track of their shows as I have not found a way to get on their mailing list, if one exists, and the Fine Arts Guild does not do a good job of publicizing their events.
