She teaches them not only self defense, but also discipline, Japanese, and real helps build their leadership skills! It's a great school, and some day, my 9 month old daughter will be headed here!! I have also taken the cardio kick boxing class for adults, and it's a work out! You sweat, but you shred the pounds and get toned! Sensei Marie makes it fun! All in all, it's been a great family investment! Lastly, I did notice a negative post about cleanliness here, I have never seen it messy or dirty at the gym. I have no clue why anyway would say that, but it's absolutely false! The place is well kept! We fully support you Sensei Marie! Thanks for running such a great and inviting school!

Mr. Mayer, Mr. Scielzo & Mr. Harris are fully committed to their students - the team has NOT changed over last 6 years. They each have 15+ years of experience working with children that have special needs. While the teachers allow all students to progress at their own pace, they also encourage the kids to get outside their comfort zone & become the best version of themselves. Throughout class, the instructors encourage themes including focus, listening to instructions & respecting each other. Classes are upbeat, positive & fun. There is also a sense of community at the studio, which deeply resonates with our family. Visit a class, watch a student pass their "belt test" or attend a tournament - it's a humbling experience & one which our family sincerely appreciates!

Master Kim's Tiger Tae Kwon Do was simply the best program for our 5-year-old. We took advantage of…read morethe introductory period, but our son simply refused to participate, viewing from the sidelines. Master Kim and his staff patiently offered words of encouragement without rushing him. Other parents told us not to give up because their children were reluctant at first as well. Parents from surrounding towns drive their children past ordinary Tae Kwon Do classes to Master Kim's amazing class for valid reasons. He blends respect, culture, discipline, confidence and fun perfectly. Before and after class, Master Kim slowly practiced punching and kicking with our son. We had faith in Master Kim, so we signed up for the entire year. Soon after, our son decided to participate in the full class and has looked forward to it. We have seen our son learn new moves with the help of Master Kim's entire staff. We like that our son learns from Master Kim and respectfully follows others, too. Our son went from being shy and timid to confident in announcing himself, counting out numbers and replying to Master Kim's questions. Our son progressed faster in Master Kim's class than in the classroom. The look on our son's face as he earned his first belt was priceless. Master Kim brings out the best in our child and all children because he has perfected his craft, he embodies the ideals of Tae Kwon Do in his life, he cares so much for each child, and he relentlessly makes each one better each day. Master Kim commands their respect because he teaches them to respect one another and themselves.
