Well when I left I still had some pain (much less) then about 2 hours later I realized out of surprise that I had ZERO pain. The sciatica pain was gone! I've had massages, chiropractor, etc try to alleviate my sciatica and never has it been done so quickly. The cost for his service is more than fair and they do accept most insurances. I have fibromyalgia, which is all-over pain, exhaustion, flu-like symptoms, etc. my primary care doctor, is also an acupuncturist, but due to the insurance rules, he can only be one thing to me and I prefer him as my PCP. My insurance pays for acupuncture, and my direction from my PCP was to ask the acupuncturist to balance my CHI. I've had acupuncture before, all but one other always worked on balancing my CHI, and that in turn helps me to be able to control all of my symptoms. This acupuncturist, however, did not seem to know what CHI was. She wouldn't talk about it, she just kept demanding. I tell her where my pain is. I would tell her it's all over and she would say I can't treat you all over. Which is BS, because all of my symptoms have been eradicated in one session with other acupuncturists. For example, Dr. Lee is fantastic, but he doesn't take my insurance. I think I'll be returning to him and just pay cash. This is my second really bad experience trying to find an acupuncturist who takes my insurance.
