Typical small town BS- there's no competition here so customer service really doesn't matter. where else are you gonna go? save the $40 a day and just have a friend come feed your dog for heavens sake.

I recently boarded an animal for over a week. Their boarding area isn't large so they can provide attention to their guests. Berta and the staff were great with my critter who hates to be boarded. She is a life saver and I had peace of mind that she was able to have Oliver stay with her. She sent a couple of videos and he was so happy running around and playing. We used to board at a facility but we love that our pup Phoebe can stay with Allie in her home and she's comfortable. I'll never board Phoebe in a facility again. Allie is very communicative and sends updates via text each day which I appreciate so much! Drop off and pick up is so easy. When we pick up Phoebe, Phoebe is in great condition meaning she's not stinky or dirty. We trust Wild Tails with our precious angel because we know she's taken care of. She treats our pup as if she was her own. We will be forever loyal to Allie! And Phoebe loves her!

Was coming into…read moremammoth for a camping trip and learned very last minute that the mosquitos are pretty bad this year due to all the water from this winter. We don't really have mosquitos where we are from and our dog is not on any heart worm preventative. When I learned about the mosquitos (morning that we were supposed to hit the road) I called my vet in my home town and they weren't able to squeeze us in. I almost didn't bring my dog but decided to try to call a vet in mammoth and called Alpen. I explained my worry for the heart worm and they were happy to take me in that day!! Once we got into town, we stopped by and we're able to get some preventative. The lady at the front was so nice and helpful. Later that night when we pulled up to our first campsite there were HUNDREDS of mosquitos. Our car was swarmed from the second we pulled up. After some time prepping with bug spray we made our way out. Proud to say my dog seemingly got no bites over our 4 day stay all thanks to Alpen vet! Very thankful they were able to get us in on such short notice.
