I went out to the parking lot and did some research and it turns out I need a "rabies vaccine certificate" So, I go back in and the young tattoo girl at the counter tries blowing smoke up my arse "we don't know what the county requires, if you need a rabies certificate you will have to come back in an hour". I am a nurse, I know how long it takes to fill out a vaccination form. If you are lazy and dishonest you should not be working in customer service. Since moving to Bishop four years ago, BVH has ministered to my two pugs, Gus and Stanley. Unfortunately. Gus had to be euthanized three years ago, and the staff handled that professionally and with consummate sensitivity. A couple of months later I adopted Stanley. BVH has looked after him since then. I have been very pleased with his care by BVH. Both the front office and medical staff have done outstanding work, and I trust them! I highly recommend them!

He did everything he could to keep him going even though he had congestive heart failure. He even came to the house to help TruMan cross the rainbow bridge. It was his day off and he was headed to dinner and dropped everything to come. He's very kind and compassionate and I trust him with all my dogs . Forester my puppy has been his patient since he was 8 weeks old . I appreciate all he does and how loving he is with all three of my pups . I highly recommend Joel .

Was coming into…read moremammoth for a camping trip and learned very last minute that the mosquitos are pretty bad this year due to all the water from this winter. We don't really have mosquitos where we are from and our dog is not on any heart worm preventative. When I learned about the mosquitos (morning that we were supposed to hit the road) I called my vet in my home town and they weren't able to squeeze us in. I almost didn't bring my dog but decided to try to call a vet in mammoth and called Alpen. I explained my worry for the heart worm and they were happy to take me in that day!! Once we got into town, we stopped by and we're able to get some preventative. The lady at the front was so nice and helpful. Later that night when we pulled up to our first campsite there were HUNDREDS of mosquitos. Our car was swarmed from the second we pulled up. After some time prepping with bug spray we made our way out. Proud to say my dog seemingly got no bites over our 4 day stay all thanks to Alpen vet! Very thankful they were able to get us in on such short notice.

Oh- and she won't tell you up front, but she charges the same price wether she comes once a day or twice. that seems totally illogical to me, and also something that should be mentioned up front. Typical small town BS- there's no competition here so customer service really doesn't matter. where else are you gonna go? save the $40 a day and just have a friend come feed your dog for heavens sake.

The index book seems intact but the pages are out of order and upside down. Was hard to work out which was "section 1" but find-a-grave had gps quite close. I was able to find the people I was looking for, all in a small group with flat stones a bit overgrown with grass.

Last year I called the district about the ongoing pest problem of the burying animal that was making a mess in the cremain section. The representative made a lot of excuses, how hard is it to trap an animal? Now when I visit I use my personal shovel to remove the mess made by said animal that is burying my great grandparents plot. Mind you my grandfather who was a WW2 vet and his brother who died during the war are buried here. Also, the asphalt paths are completely worn out, there's weeds growing in the cracks and along with other concrete features. The lawn was also is desperate need of mowing and weeding, it's been dry enough to do so lately. I would like to note that 3 of my relatives were relocated to the cemetery from one that was in disrepair, it's terribly ironic that they now rest beneath this mess!

I recently boarded an animal for over a week. Their boarding area isn't large so they can provide attention to their guests. Berta and the staff were great with my critter who hates to be boarded. Their prices are notably good. Berta is olde, not old school: if you call her "ma'am" she might say something untoward. I HIGHLY recommend Pampered Pooches.

Make sure your dog has received the K9 flu vaccine prior as it is required. Fortunately we were able to get it on our way into town. As for all the sensitive pandas on here and other sites complaining about her personality..grow some thicker skin and get over it. She is a dog person and loves dogs. Not everyone is going to be your cup of tea but that's no reason to trash a business online. Our interactions with her were genuine and fun. When we picked up our dogs they were happy and we have no reason to think they had anything but a great time. Last little thing to add is use the address on Google for Sawmill Rd.

She provides great tips about their health and often does extra things I never ask nor expect while she cares for them. She is a true dog whisper in every sense: she has a commanding authority they immediately respected, and she treats them with love as though they were her own dogs. I trust her completely with them, and I am highly protective over them since losing my first two to the parvo virus. I might legally own these dogs, but someone like Jenna has made their short lives even more joyful during her visits and has become a major part of their limited interaction with humans outside my immediate family.
