ATTN: Construction WITHOUT Quality - RUN the Other Way Do…read morenot hire Williams and Sons -- especially Marc Williams, Marc Jr., Marcel, David Williams or Cindi. This was hands-down the worst experience we've ever had with a contractor. They clearly had no idea what they were doing. They didn't know how to pour a footer, left out rebar, skipped grout in the block cavities, and even cut bricks just to hide rebar they placed in the wrong spot -- which meant the bricks didn't fit properly. The result? A crooked, unstable mess with grout smeared all over the face of the wall like a bad joke. They dragged the job out forever, ignored concerns, and ghosted us when it was clear they messed up. We had to go to the Registrar of Contractors, and even after that, they refused to fix major problems. We gave them a final shot out of good faith -- and it was more corner-cutting, lies, and negligence and abandonment- the lies they even told the judge were unbelievable from people who claim to be professional- but they didn't get away with it- they have multiple complaints against them now, I wouldn't be surprised if they loose their license- make sure to check first! This crew is dangerous, unskilled, and dishonest. Avoid them at all costs. Protect yourself: check contractor licenses, look up complaints, and contact the ROC if you're already stuck dealing with them -- they were the only ones who helped.

I think the roofing work was done as expected, but the sales were not ok and I have regrets. The…read morecrew showed up a little early, but that makes sense in Tucson. They fixed things inside that fell apart from all the banging, but I had to point it out to them. That being said, the crew responded fine and did what was asked. I was under the impression that all of the facia boards would get replaced when they had signs of rot. Only one of them got replaced and even though it needed to be replaced, it didn't look like it was the worst one. That seems like it was an issue with the contract not being clear. All of this to preface that the roof we had was great and I regret buying a new one. We got a roof that looks newer, and may seem prettier - if you like looking at white painted foam roofs. I was hoping the new roof would save A/C money, but our electric bill is about the same. The one thing the old roof had was that it was much quieter in rain. I know it doesn't rain much in Tucson, but when it does, now it feels like we live inside a snare drum. So, I wish we'd gotten more advice before deciding and I wish the sales guy had been more clear about the status of our old roof and the changes we were considering.

I own two homes, my primary residence, and one where my father-in-law lives. His home developed a…read moreroof leak near the end of last year. I spent almost two months checking over eight roofing companies and finally chose Lyons to provide the work. From start to finish they were phenomenal. Because this was where my father-in-law lives, I wanted to insure the best materials and workmanship possible. Eddie Cortez worked with me to make my wish for the best outcome possible become a reality. He went over and above what I had expected. The work was completed ahead of the estimated time, and exactly on budget. I learned as the work was completed, that Eddie's approach to the customer and the quality of the finished roof is completely in line with the company vision as a whole. Since the work was done, several sales people have come through the neighborhood offering a "free roof inspection" to determine the condition of my other roof. I have declined each offer with a clear determination of who will be my choice when the time comes to replace that roof as well. Without a doubt, it will be will be Lyons roofing.

When we decided to remodel our current home, which was a much larger project, we knew we wanted to get an estimate from Johnnie at BP. We ultimately went with them and are glad we did. Jillian coordinated purchases for our project, and Jesse was our project manager. Walls, ceilings, electric, plumbing, and doors moved. Tile was replaced, new cabinets and lighting installed. The work was again completed on time and within approved budget. We really are pleased with how our house looks and how functional it is, and we've recommended BP Remodeling to friends. One is in the midst of their project now. We hope we are done with remodeling homes, but we would not hesitate to use BP again based on our experience.

Terrible experience with these folks. We asked them to install a gas line in our kitchen and…read moreductwork for a range hood. First, they never asked how high vertically the gas line should come in, even though I was waiting around for questions. They installed it 37" above the ground. That's above counter height. They did fix it but that led to the next issue... Next, as it turned out, there was already a hole cut for the range duct, that we discovered after removing a cabinet. You'd think that would make the job easier. Instead of putting in a duct, they took a piece of sheet metal, bent it, and left it on the kitchen floor. It's not in the ceiling. They then still invoiced us for the installation and materials they didn't use. Instead of installing the duct, they put drywall over the plumbing, which was specifically not included in the estimate. (My wife informed me later). The drywall covered up that two of the studs were cut through too deep. The thinnest point of one is around an inch. I wouldn't have known if I hadn't removed the drywall myself. Who knows what would have happened if we hung cabinets there. When I complained, Ted told me the ductwork was a one hour job. So cutting a hole through the house, installing a duct, a roof jack, insulation, etc. Only takes an hour. Not credible. Also the gas line comes out four or five inches of where I drew the circle on the wall. Ugh. Now they're threatening to put a lien on the house while we're still trying to negotiate on the bill. They even billed me for cleaning supplies but used my plastic sheeting and trash bags.
