It is open to the sky without building interference. Music in the background and a leafy fence to make the air conditioners invisible. There is a bit of noise from those on one end but not unbearable. There are also a few poolside games like bags, large Jenga and a sort of bucket toss. One downside is the lack of outlets and no hotel WiFi. Would recommend if you have some down time!

Not kidney shaped like many condo pools but rectangular with a extra little piece of square on the end. This pool is the perfect pool to lounge away a lazy Sunday. Complete with deck chairs, chaise lounges, tables with umbrellas, and floatation devices. I've only been in the women's changing room but it's pretty nice. It has showers which is a nice touch for a pool at a condo where all members are within walking distance of their own home showers. There are lifeguards. They refreshed the lounge cushions and pool towns this year, which added to the luxurious vibe. I enjoy it most during the weekdays when it's remote workers, lap swimmers like me, and avid readers. There is only one "time slot" and it's all day. On the weekends, you need to arrive at least 15 min before your pool time (either 10am or 2:30pm), and snag loungers if you're GA. This year I discovered that if you have more than one guest, you have to book a sun lounger (the square poolside cushions) or daybeds, which both have a food and drink minimum (the lounger is $75 but they're not too strict). Food-wise I'd choose cobb salad, shrimp tacos (a bit spicy), or their guac.

The outdoor pool area consisted of - Large pool section that went from 3+ feet to 5 feet - 13 foot area with a diving board - Lazy river - 2 water slides About 40% of the area where you can sit is shaded (either trees or a canopy). I can tell that people came early to snag those spots. It's a very nice and well maintained facility. One thing to be aware of is that there is no re-entry. So make sure you bring everything from the car you need the first time. There is plenty of parking. Overall we had a great time and next time we will go closer to the time they open to get a shady spot.

Only one of the men's showers works and has a soap dispenser. The middle one has been broken as long as I have been going there, with a big HOLE in the wall covered with see-through plastic where you can see the (nonfunctional) pipes. The third is missing its handle and its soap dispenser and they can't even put even hooks on the shower curtain. And now the swimsuit spinner is simply MISSING from the wall, with connections still hanging out where it used to. DC LOVES to built NEW facilities but apparently has zero interest in maintaining the ones it already has. I note that users are "required" to use the shower before getting in the pool. Good luck with that. Is the women's locker room this crappy or is just the men's locker room nobody cares about?
