Not a bad place to stop for a drink or a bite to eat. You order at the bar and there's a fair amount of seating at and around the bar. Minors are allowed until 8pm.

Drinks? Absolutely Food? Hmmm..... Toy shop Ramen....take two! They did a good job capturing the charm of toy shop (chill vibes, delish cocktails). I'd definitely go back. Food was decent....not the best, in a jam....not the worst. Arancini sounds delish but not sure jalapeño popper is my jam with Arancini (just one of many examples) That doesn't mean they aren't good. The chicken sando was on point!!!! Either way....verdict is: yes, I will have a sequel here. Drinks, maybe sans food.

They play movies in the back.

We chilled at this new bar prior to our scheduled reservation time at a nearby restaurant. It was about 7:30pm on a Friday night when we arrived, and we found a couple of open stools by the bar. Looks like it's open seating, but if you're at a table, you'll need to order drinks from the bar. Here's a little bit about Take Two: × Location & Parking × At a fairly busy NE Killingsworth St, you'll need to find street parking around the neighborhood. × Drinks & Snacks & Service × Our bartender Joel made some fancy creations! I tried the Rum Sour ($13), while my friends had a similar Montelobos Sour ($14), and a large order of Waffle Fries ($8). Both drinks were simply relaxing! Not too sweet and not too bitter, and not overly sour. The waffle fries were nice and crunchy as well. As for staff, they seemed pretty friendly and busy wiping down the bar area and cleaning tables. Most of our interactions were with bartender Joel. He seemed like a really cool dude (when I can hear him lol). It can get fairly loud in here. Joel answered a question of ours, and we found out that this bar has only been open for 2 1/2 weeks. How ironic! Take Two, two weeks old! × In Closing × Take Two is a fresh addition to the neighborhood. Apparently, a lot of their patrons are folks that are waiting for a dinner reservation; Understandable, as there are a few eateries in the area. Regardless, this bar was still a cool place to grab a quick drink. I'll definitely do a second take on this bar again next time!

Fred and I were told to come here by a friend and this place did not disappoint! The vibe was relaxed and quiet. A couple play games at the bar while enjoying their drinks and chips and dip! Fred and I did their drinks ( old fashioned, and what they call the greenday) and the burgers and fries ! Their in house made ranch stole the show! Not to mention this bartender, he had such passion for each drink he made. Fred and bartender became fast friends. Highly recommended 10/10

Wild turkey old fashioned riff by Solomon .... Again thank you sir this was an absolute masterpiece

Solomon is as amazing, made a riff on an old fashioned and honestly was one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. Not going to give any secrets as away as I feel this is a must stop spot for him and this riff. We used wild turkey and rum in this one. An absolute masterpiece of a cocktail. Hats off sir and I'll be back like Arnold for these

Went here while waiting for a table at Gabbiano's and honestly I enjoyed the bar more than the restaraunt.

They have a dog friendly patio and tons of drinks. There's also a back dining area. I believe I met a bartender, her name was Zoey. She was very kind. So I'll give one star to my food experience which will bring down the otherwise 4 stars I'd give the whole place. For the record, the BLT I ordered was delicious. But then I spent the entire night vomiting every bite of it up. I don't want a BLT for a very long time. I ordered a yummy mocktail also, and my friends' reported their drinks were good. I liked the large size of the patio (wish they had heat lamps though) and the variety of rooms inside the bar. I'd go back. Especially in summer. I just won't order anything to eat. UPDATE: the owners were so kind and apologetic and refunded my dinner. I'll be back in the spring to chill on that patio!

I guess you could call it just another Saturday night, but it was a nice night out and I'm sure many were somewhere, anywhere downtown or beyond. All of ten people at the bar area including the bartender. A special reads"sloppy joe's" on a sign towards the rear but no one is eating it and I'm sure for good reason. Options of jerky, candy bars, chips, nuts and gum are just behind the bar and are probably safer choices. Steelers and Cubs items are all about the bar area, so someone there is a fan. This looks like a cool place, right? They have a small selection of good beers but PBR seems to be the choice of the guys next to me. The woman in the seat by me, chatting with bartender, is choosing some of the local beers while guys at the far end are casually watching a Cardinals baseball game. The rest of the bar and the patio are empty. I don't know if that's normal, but it is for tonight. The beer is decent in price and I nursed a local IPA while I watched some of the MMA fights. I was just there to unwind and it's a great place to do that with no expectations. It's not a place I'd go to often, but I'd go back. Enjoy.

The place is a total dive complete with leftover smells from the smoking era. What's it been, three years now? Yickkkhhh! When the smokers go outside they're just too close to the front door so the place ends up smelling like an ashtray anyway. The carpet is ratty and looks like something people have been wiping their feet on for 30 years. Oh wait. They have been. The crowd is friendly and we participated in several games of friendly ping pong. Hey, I almost won one of those losing by only 3 points. There don't really seem to be any undesirables here and the crowd is mixed, both young and old who actually seem to communicate with one another. It didn't seem like a Frank Sinatra type of crowd but that's what was playing when we walked in. To sum it up, this is a friendly, gross, disgusting, divey, ratty neighborhood bar. There seems to be something for everyone here, from ping pong and pool tables to pinball and shuffle board. If you can get by the smell and appearance, hey, you're in.

However, they recently started charging $5 PER PERSON if you want to play any games, including ones you bring. The reason given is table space, but it doesn't take any more space to play games than you would be taking to eat your food. And nobody shares tables at restaurants with strangers anyway, they are already losing seating space by you dining there, just like any restaurant. It makes no sense. Wife and I spent $20 per person on our food, then another $10 for the table charge to play our own card game while we waited for the food, then tip calculated on top of that (i do 20%). So our $40 meal cost $60. Quite the markup. We were there for less than an hour and there were other empty tables the whole time -- so what was the charge for? Loved this place as a spot to gather with friends but if it's gonna be anywhere from $10-20 table tax before tip I can't justify it. It feels bad, makes you feel like you're getting scammed. Gonna find a new spot. Edit: I want to clarify my experience regarding the below reply. In the past we were offered to rent one of the businesses' board games for a flat fee. We were never charged before for bringing our own, nor charged per person in our group. I understand renting gaming tables but that rate last time, especially if scaled into a larger group and applied pre-tip, is just too high for us to keep coming back.
