I regret not putting my son into her care when I first had the opportunity, because I can see a difference of discipline in my son compared to my daughter. JillMatie loves having external teachers come and teach the kids. There was a music teacher, and outdoors teacher, and right now they have a Spanish teacher, which just helps motivate my daughter when I'm teaching her at home! I'm sure there have been more teachers, I just can't remember them off the top of my head, right now. All around, JillMarie loves her families. I can attest to that. I feel like an extended part of her family. There's a little garden she and the kids work on. The kids do cute artsy projects, and more. I feel like she is a top homecare-provider. C.V.C. feels professional, and clean. JillMarie puts so much effort into making sure the kids are getting quality care. She's the real deal. I'm glad C.V.C. and JillMarie exist!!!

Knowing that our daughter was in a place that provided a such a loving, comfortable environment made the transition a breeze for our whole family. There is a great mix of learning through play, music, art, and time outdoors. Above all, this was our daughter's second home. A place that we always knew she was safe, secure, and loved. We will truly miss JillMarie and CVC.

ALL SMILES! After…read morebeing at home with Mom and Grandma for the first 7 months of my daughter's life, I was nervous and stressed about the transition of taking my baby girl to day care for the first time. After doing research on the best facilities across Broomfield, Louisville, Lafayette and Erie, I decided on Little Sunshine's and am SO GLAD that I did. Miss Gini (Asst Director) made the process from enrollment to first day attendance feel comfortable and simple, easing my worries tremendously. Miss Lori and Miss Brooke (along with the help of Miss Adrienne) in the Infant 2 room have been the BIGGEST blessings! My little girl loved them from the first week she started. Making it so much easier for me to drop her each day and go to work knowing she is in good hands and loves her teachers. They are always engaging and have done everything they can to help ease my mind and keep my little girl happy. They are flexible and communicative and very sweet with all of the kids. Cannot say enough positive things about this dream team! Also, their proprietary phone app, LuvNotes is AWESOME! The teachers post pictures and notes of my daughters activities throughout the day, when she eats, naps and has a diaper change, which definitely helps mamas like me get peace of mind and reduce the mom guilt. SHOUT OUT TO MISS LORI and MISS BROOKE - ya'll are the BEST! Thank you for being you!!

After that, we received no communication for 14 months. When we finally reached out, Little Sunshine reneged on their promise of part-time care and had no opening available as originally assured. When we asked for a refund (given that we paid the fee based on inaccurate information) we were told the fee is non-refundable, even though staff acknowledged that multiple families have expressed similar frustrations about misleading waitlist practices. We were promised a follow-up from a higher-up, but no one ever called. In our view, the $350 waitlist fee was paid under deceptive and misleading circumstances, and the lack of communication and accountability has been very disappointing.

Before I begin, I would like to preface noting that our child is a toddler. One who has temper…read moretantrums and cry's/screams, as many toddlers do. She's probably at the more difficult end of the spectrum, but still within the normal range of toddler behavior. We Sent our child to TLE for ~ 6 months. Initially she seemed to really enjoy herself and would willingly go. More recently, we noticed a change in her demeanor- she seemed way less happy and even despondent looking. We decided to remove her from TLE and try another environment. The new daycare also noted there was another child who recently moved from TLE who had a similar experience (and the thought that something may have happened or something was not right). We emailed TLE to let them know our child would be leaving. The content of the email was not at all hostile and was very concrete and polite. We never received a response, which we thought was bizarre, but continued to give them the benefit of the doubt. When we went to grab our things from TLE, they acknowledged receipt of our email but did not offer any additional concern or even a "sorry it didn't work out". We thought this was super weird at the least, and borderline creepy. In summary, we're glad we went with our gut and switched . I realize others may have completely different experiences and would not base your decision making on this review alone. We had a positive view of the staff up until the last few weeks, and this is one case from one parent. The lack of follow up was pretty disheartening though, and the primary reason for my review, as you would think members of the caring profession would at least care to ask about the child they cared for for a reasonable amount of time. We understand there are staffing shortages everywhere, covid is not making things any better, and childcare is one of the more difficult jobs around. However, this is our story and I figured it was worth sharing.

In one weeks time I had an offer and immediately needed to find full time childcare. It seemed everyplace we went required a wait list, something I just didn't have time for...considering I would be starting my job in two weeks time. I went to Hope first and we are on the forever wait list. Then I called a few other places Primrose, forever waitlist, Heart and Hand could have taken one of my children but not both, yeah no thanks. Then we found The Learning Experience. I wish I would have found them first! Of all the places I toured this was by far the cleanest. Everyone was incredibly nice Arron took my call and when I explained my predicament he got me in right away to tour and ask all 10,000 mom questions. We have been at TLE for about 2 months now and my 1 and 2 year olds are so well cared for. The included features really superseded anything other facilities offer. Like picture day, OMG they were cute! Every month has a theme and TLE is truly at the top of their education game. Oh yeah and all meals and snacks are included. Pretty Epic! My 1 year old is signing so many words now, my son using manners far more than before. The level of patience these professionals have is truly incredible. Ms. Brenda, Ms. CathyAnne, Ms. Samantha, Ms. Mackenzie, Ms. Lizeth, Ms Amy and everyone that cares for my little ones from the bottom of my heart thank you! *Update* [Decreasing rating to 2 stars] We have had some issues, some far more serious then others, and are in the process of removing our children from this facility. Yelp won't allow me to delete my previous remarks. Anything we once felt is completely overshadowed by the constant biting, hair pulling (Final straw, my daughter had a chunk of her hair ripped out by another child...She has a gosh darn bald spot!) and the revolving door of teachers. Upsetting to say the least.

A Warning for Parents of Neurodivergent or ESL Children…read more My experience here was traumatic. If I could give zero stars, I would. We attended before my son's autism diagnosis, and he was treated with a shocking lack of empathy. The owner actually called me to claim my son had a 'medical tic'--which was actually just a self-soothing raspberry-blowing behavior he only did when he was extremely stressed by their environment. I witnessed systemic neglect: children who spoke English as a second language were left to sit alone without interaction, and toddlers were left to sob inconsolably after drop-off with no comfort from staff. I actually had to step in and hug a crying child myself because the teachers wouldn't. Most concerning was the lack of respect for parental boundaries and age-appropriate care. When my 3-year-old was nervous about potty training, I requested he wear a pull-up for one day to build his confidence. Instead, the staff spent 30 minutes of his school day forcing him back into underwear against my explicit instructions. Unless your child is neurotypical and requires no emotional support, stay away. This is not a safe or inclusive environment.

I love the balance of outdoor time, art, music, social emotional learning, and gentle exploration of academic learning. To top it off, there is a great community of kind families each year!
