My brakes pads were worn. I was having vibration and squealing. I stopped by this morning, they were full. The gentleman was honest and said they didnt know if they would get to me today. I took my chances, and left my van. Just a few hours later, I received a call that my van was ready. I came to pick it up, asked how much it would be(with check book in hand) only to be told that there was no charge, and my brakes were still under warranty! No labor charge, no anything... it was 100% taken care of! WHAT??? I was blown away! You just dont get customer service, honesty and integrity like this anymore! I hit one of Toledos famous pot holes and put a bubble in my tire so I called around looking for a replacement. You would think I was searching for a unicorn. I called here because that's where I bought them. I was told I wasn't in their system, they don't carry that brand and they would call me back with some options of tires they do carry. I never received a call back. To be fair two other companies also didn't call me back. I am a pleasant person just trying to find an inexpensive tire. Customer service is a thing of the past I guess. I called them twice I wasn't about to call a third time. Even though they send me emails and coupons in the mail.... They've no record of me right?

Lange's Automotive is the best! I found them after I had a terrible experience at a different…read moreautomotive repair shop. I looked to see who had good reviews in the area and found them...and they live up to their good reputation! My negative experience at the other automotive shop involved paying large sums of money for them to misdiagnose my car, take forever to fix it, and give it repairs it didn't even need only for my car to still not work after they gave it back to me! After getting fed up, I found Lange's had good reviews, so I took my car to them in hopes of finally having a functioning vehicle. They have a wonderful website (the other automotive place did not), you can schedule an appointment right there on the website (unlike the other place), and/or call them and someone will actually answer or you leave a message (the other automotive place didn't even have an answering machine!). Because of these amenities, I was able to get my car in there and within less than half a business day, they were able to correctly diagnose what the problem was and fix it (it took the other automotive place three days to diagnose it, a week to fix it, and they didn't even fix/diagnose it correctly!). The best part was that my repair was less than half of what the bad automotive place charged me. Actually, the best part was that they were very knowledgeable, courteous and honest. They are good at what they do for a living, and possess great interpersonal communication skills (in contrast to other automotive places where they are constantly crabby on the phone). They understand that people have to work for a living, and because I work nearby, they will give me a ride back to work after dropping off my vehicle so that I don't have to miss work while my vehicle is being repaired! This is great for someone like me who works three different jobs! Lange's has become our designated family automotive repair place. We have taken our Honda, Toyota, Jeep and Chevy there for maintenance and repairs and they've delivered excellent service each time! They are incredibly knowledgeable about many different vehicles. On more than one occasion, they have gone above and beyond the call of duty. For example, we took our Jeep in for an oil change and they diagnosed the clunking sound we were hearing, told us about how a new track bar will fix the problem, and offered an estimate for repair if we chose to fix it. They didn't charge us for the diagnosis, just the oil change, which I thought was very generous, and we learned something new about our vehicle! They will not try to nickel and dime you here. They are honest and straightforward...which is what I believe every place should be but it is hard to come by nowadays! Keep up the good work Lange's!
