Wow, always have seen these car washes since it is a franchise of some type. Tried it out for the first time today with great disappointment. One of the lanes was down which is understandable because of the volume people are going through because of the snow and salt. However the actual wash was not really great. Missed the front bumper and part of the back as well. The car wash lasers probably need to be adjusted or something but to pay to have your car washed and it miss this much is a bummer. read more

I went to Goo Goo Express yesterday for the first time. I purchased the $18 wash with hopes to get all of the bugs off of my car. It took me a second to figure out which way to insert my card, and this younger employee came up and just stood there watching me. I figured it out on my own, and she seemed annoyed with me. I was fairly certain that the wash had done its job, and I hurried up and used the free vacuum on the front end of my car. As I left, I quickly realized that the bugs were still covering my front bumper and windshield. I didn't want to bother the employees, as they seemed young and busy. First time here, last time too. The greeting attendant working at the payment machines was totally rude and extremely passive aggressive with horrible customer service capabilities. I explained that I had never been there before and just wanted a good outside wash, asked what he recommended. He answered as rude & confrontational as possible insinuating that I was an idiot. All I said was "hello, I'd like the outside washed, what do you recommend?" He was argumentative and arrogant from the very second he opened his mouth. All attempts to redirect and be on my way were met with further verbal lashings. As I was pulling away after his barrage of astounding seemingly burning ignorance to any type of recognizable customer service, he was spouting more passive aggressive dribble and obviously trying to get me to respond to his aggression. Vicious & scary individual, absolutely no provocation, yet aggressive and disrespectful. I'm not even sure what he said to me as I pulled away but my god what an amazing display of ignorance. This kid either needs a different job or needs to work out his issues before going in front of a friendly customer. This kid should NOT be the face of your business or rogue military organization. Was in the area and my Elemental needed a bath on a fine sunny Monday evening so I pulled in here paid easy and quick at the drive thru terminal and headed into the wash. I really like that they have attendants here to pre-treat your vehicle no matter what level was you buy before starting the wash cycle. 6 Bucks got me the basic wash, air dry and free vaccums and for my boxy vehicle it did a very good job of getting it's ass end cleaned unlike so many of these wash places. Really like that they have plenty of vaccum bays with room to open the doors and get your inside ride clean. Plus they have a Free car mat cleaning station that's simple to use and does a great job of brushing all the crud out of my deep rubber mats. They have one job and so does the contraption I went thru and neither did theirs correctly. It amazes me how when businesses first open they are spectacular. Then the owners feel that their pockets are cushioned just enough to start cutting back on the product. That's exactly what we have here. The $5 joint up the street is no different. This place is pretty terrible, it's closed at random times with no explanation at all. You pull up, nice sunny day out and tons of cars in line, but a big sign blocking the entrance. The sign says they are open, but you can't get in. Don't make the trip out here to wash your car, even if it looks open it isn't. read more

WILL NEVER RETURN! I've come here numerous times and will go elsewhere from here on out. I've been told by other friendly employees in the past this place has a high turnover in employees. No one could be found here to ask questions. Multiple areas of damage to both drivers side rims and passenger mirror from the two kids too busy socializing over the room of my car. He acknowledged he hit the mirror, gave me a nod and the kid on the actual wash bay was on his phone. He gave me no other directions (left/ right) to line up. He just kept motioning me forward. This has been my favorite car wash and the only one I would use, however it has gone down hill over the past year or so. They no longer provide a bucket of windex or paper towels. They also no longer scrub the front or back of your car when you enter the wash. In addition, the majority of their vacuums either do not work at all or have very poor suction. Rolled through this afternoon to get my filthy car cleaned...and got about half of it done, and quite poorly. I had to ask for my car to be rewashed since the machine did such an awful job. I'm not normally, "that guy", it was just that bad...like half my car wasn't washed bad. I told the employees that one of the roller brushes wasn't making contact with the passenger side of my car (or any other cars coming through the wash for that matter), and they said they know...uh, are washes half off today too for a half-assed job? I was the only one that seemed to notice this, but I have a black car and its hard to miss the filth they didn't wash off. I won't be back after the crappy wash and meh attitude toward the issue. This was a busy Sunday, and they just kept collecting money and half-washing cars...totally unacceptable. Even after two washes there was dirt and grime where it should have been spotless. I wash my car at least weekly, sometimes daily when weather is poor, and if it didn't get my car clean I'd hate to see a really dirty car. ...Not cool guys, total failure. read more

Less than stellar. When this place first opened a few years ago, it was the new great car wash. Several years gone by, the prices have gone up (without quality to match) and the service by the kids has gone down. Ok, I get it, kids don't want to be working during the summer (or at all), but seriously, the owner needs to kick these kids in the pants and make sure when they're using the scrubbing brushes on the front and back that they actually scrub! I swear the last 2 times I've gone there they barely passed at going-through-the-motions. I said something to the manager the last visit that I wasn't impressed. I was actually rear ended because they allowed cars to be so close together, that when the idiot in front of me put on her brakes I had to do the same. Next thing you know I got tapped in the rear end. The employees saw this happen but failed to do anything about this stating that the person in front of me should be gone after. This car wash damaged my truck by leaving scratches along the hood and my roof top. Very disappointed and Goo Goo Car Wash did nothing to help fix my paint. Management declined my claim as he personally didn't believe it cause it even though it had no scratches on their video surveillance of my trucking entering the car wash. Next day when I escalated, they deleted the video! They claimed it ran out of storage and now i'm escalating to their District Manager Frank & have not received any response from him the past 2 business days. Worst carwash. They hire kids that do zero work. They at least used to have a self pre-wash bucket before you pulled in but they are too lazy to even put that out. So you are left with a $12 wash that hardly get your car clean. I would recommend the ninja or the blue sky or even a gas station wash machine before this place. Recommended a friend to Goo Goo because they are typically pretty good. However, after paying for the most expensive wash, brown residue was left on the front and rear of the car. 3 stars for great service because they let him go back through. The car was cleaned on the second wash, but it kind of defeats the purpose of a car wash to have to go through twice. I usually don't have any problems at Goo Goo so I still recommend most locations. read more

I came here around May 7. I asked the attendant to please scrub the outside panels around the wheels where my car tend to get really dirty. I asked for a wash that would shine the rubber part of the tires. He lazily sprayed something on 1 side of my car and sent me through, he did not use the hand broom to scrub the outside. They blocked the area for vacuuming where I usually pull over to take a look, there was a car behind me and only 1 narrow way out. My car is terribly dirty still, huge dirt mark on the hood, bird droppings around the gas tank, all bottom panels still had grimes stuck on it, the tires are flat, not shinny. I drove back the next day, they were closed. I wrote an email to company, no one got back to me. $15 is not cheap for this terrible service. There is no reasons to use the Covid 19 excuse not to email or contact people to make things right. They will never get my business again. Goo Goo should be fined for charging people and providing a lousy service. Seeing how the management responded to a lot of bad reviews here, I can see why the business is not doing well, just hope this review would help another person. read more

When I told her to stop yelling at me she turned off the soap and the water and even though I paid, I did not get my car wash. I was treated rudely and then got ripped off. WARNING THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR CAR AND DO NOTHING TO HELP YOU FIX IT! We took our brand new car through here the second day off the lot. They stacked everyone in bumper to bumper, and no one stayed inside to monitor the equipment. The truck ahead of us came off the track, the wash rammed our car into the truck and the car behind into us. The manger came out to take pictures and file a 'report' he said someone would call us later that day. No one ever called. We tried calling the customer care line which is absolutely useless, all it does is put you on hold for 5 min then tell you to leave a VM. We tried this three times and no one ever called back. I had to go back to the carwash multiple times finally to be told they denied our request for repairs because it was the truck's fault for turning his wheel and coming off of the track. However, they could not give me that driver's information....They said I would need to file a police report and call my insurance. The police disagreed, the officer I spoke to told me the way he sees it, the carwash drove our car into an obstruction because safety measures were not in place and they were not monitoring the equipment. He said a sign at the entrance telling people to keep hands off the wheel does not absolve them from all liability. That made this a civil matter between me and the carwash and they could not get involved. My insurance agreed with the police officers point, and asked me to reach out to the carwash for their insurance information. I sent an email to the manager, Alex Pridemore, requesting insurance information. Alex repeatedly refused to provide that information because he does not believe the carwash is at fault. I have spoken to other carwashes in the area who all have more modern equipment with sensors to stop the wash if a car comes off the track. There are much better places with much better customer service to take your car. Don't risk damaging it by taking it here. read more

Just returned from Goo Goo. My was WET dryer did nothing. My car was dirty. I tried 3 different vacuums none of the 3 were working gave up and left. This place used to be great. Car wash was good. Employees were professional. Not that way today. I hope the Moo Goo opening on Polaris will be good. read more

Why on earth would I come here again? The car wash dislodged the tow bracket cover from my front bumper -- it's just a small plastic rectangle that clips in. I went back to see if they found it and the employee said, essentially, "no, we don't have a lost-and-found, we don't keep things we find because we're not liable." Really, that's it? First of all, I never agreed that you're not liable; second, the initial mishap may have been an accident you're not responsible for, but if the piece was found and thrown away that's an *intentional* act; and third, WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THIS? There are other car local washes that just hold onto this kind of stuff and are even friendly and cheerful about it -- I have personal experience -- and there's just no excuse for not even trying. I've been trying to get onto their website to see what comes with each package, but error messages pop up. I paid for the Special and it comes with a dry. But my car was no where near dry. As I was entering the wash, the $7 Express lit up. I don't know if that comes with a dry or not or if that is even the wash I got. I should have also gotten undercarriage wash, it never lit up. Either I was swindled or the dryers and lights just aren't working. But with these temps my car should be dry, I paid for it. I shouldn't have to hand dry. read more

I used to go here all the time. Then they swapped their dryer. Now it doesn't dry my car fully. Each visit requires that I hand dry. BUT, now the dryers don't get the water and soap out of my mirrors (you can't get it by hand either). So when I get home, I see the car that I meticulously hand dried is now full of water AND SOAP spots from what was inside my mirrors. They saved a few bucks on new dryers and lost a customer. I went in on a lightly rainy day when they weren't too busy, early in the day. I purchased the $6 basic wash. When I was using the FREE VACUUMS, one of the guys came to my car and said he'd like to run it through again because there were a lot of bugs still on the front bumper. I didn't even notice!!! I was grateful at THAT point. What SURPRISED me was that they ran my car again with the TOP WASH......AND before running it through, they spent about 5-10 minutes SCRUBBING my side mirrors and my bumper!!!!!!!!!! Don't tip the car attendants, they don't listen to you when you do anyways. I gave the guy a tip of two dollars to scrub my rocker panels really quick and he washed my windshield instead. The actual mechanics of the car wash are great, just not the children running it. read more

I have been to morse location and polaris. at BOTH locations if they are real busy - they will give you someone elses' wash and everytime this happens to me - its always a cheaper wash. pay attention to the sign as you enter to make sure your getting the correct wash. if you get the wrong one make sure to tell them they will give you a coupon to pay for the wash. If you like your car, don't take it to the scratch palace. I just purchased a spotless Chevy Traverse, grey in color. There was not a single scratch on it. I took it to Goo Goo at Polaris. A day later, when the sun hits my truck, I can see tons of tiny scratches all over the hood, as well as down the sides. I cannot believe that more people haven't commented on this. read more

OK. So I've been here a million times and I'm usually very satisfied. However, my trip today made me less than satisfied. Half the vacuums were missing and the vacuum I had didn't suck up anything. I couldn't go to another spot because there either wasn't a vacuum or the spot was taken. If that is one if your selling points you should probably make sure all of your vacuums are in working order. read more
