This was pretty bad. I don't even leave many bad reviews like this but don't even waste your time. Too many other car wash options within driving distance. It was so bad, I pulled around and told them I needed a refund. LONG POST (GIVING YOU DETAIL BY DETAIL): The management is awful, because they hire people that have ZERO customer service skills, and the manager is hardly there. I emailed corporate, and filed a complaint regarding the way the tire shine messes with bottom of my doors (on both my 2019 Accord and 2022 CR-V) leaving a black grease along the bottom skirt. This issue doesn't happen at any of the other locations, but, there is a switch to turn off the tire shine. One time, the worker actually turned off the tire shine, but, on another day with different worker (tried to explain what the other worker did, but, I was argued down), they said that there is no switch. Therefore, I emailed corporate, and they told me that the manager will be there on the next day to meet with me. The next day I arrived, and asked to speak with the manager, but, the worker told me that the manager never showed up. I left, and I have decided that I will never go to the Desoto, TX Take 5 Car Wash (anymore). Two months later, I have being going between the Cedar Hill and Waxahachie location, and as of today, I encountered another bad experience at the Cedar Hill, TX location. First, I am going to confess that I should not have tried to get my car washed prior to an appointment that was almost approaching, but, I thought that I could be fortunate to just go and not have to wait very long. I arrived, and the manager-on-duty (worker not the official manager) is selling the membership to a customer, NO PROBLEM, so, I'll wait. The problem I encountered was there was only one lane open, and the worker was being casual and laid back having a good 'ole conversation with the customer (about 4 mins went by while I was waiting). The worker left to get the membership sticker and application, and I should have left, but, my silly self didn't (I'm trying to be patient). The worker comes back, and is still laid back (mind you didn't seem to notice that I'm waiting and waiting and waiting). So, I skipped around to the bay, hoping that another worker will see my sticker, and get me through. About 20 seconds later, the other car pulls around, and the worker goes off on my about me skipping around the other car (he is right). I apologized nicely, and I tried explain why I did what I did, and he heard me, but, starting fuzzing, and he told me to pull out of the line, so, I put my car into reverse to back out. Then, the worker kept on fuzzing, and he was starting to go into a personal attack, so I stopped him telling him that he doesn't need to go any further because I apologized and I am doing what he told me to do (I did not disrespect him, but, all of that of expressing his anger wasn't necessary, and I'm De-escalating the situation to keep things in control), but, in his tirade, he said, "I am the only one here." A manager-on duty, should NEVER say to a customer that they are the only one working, because, if they had said that to a potential criminal, then, a lot of bad things could happen. I left the facility, but, there is a problem with Take 5 Car Wash Desoto and Cedar Hill locations, in relationship to quality employees. At this point, I have decided to Cancel my Take 5 Car Wash Membership. I could do better at a different car wash company. If you have not had a similar experience (of some sort), then, count yourself lucky. Pray that you don't have to go through what I went through. read more

I chose the 7 dollar wash and was about to pay when a worker came running up saying they only had the 20 dollar and 26 dollar wash. After paying 20 dollars and going through the wash I went to the free vacuums. that was when I noticed my car was still dirty. while I was vacuuming my car they shut off the vacuums. I went to this location on June 10th, while going through the carwash my bumper was completely removed from my car. One of their employees had to return to the carwash inside and bring it back to me. My car had no prior damaged and I was who is going to take care of this. I was told that the manager would need to review the video and get back to me to see if my car had prior damage. Moving forward 30 mins or less the staff came to me and stated that the video was reviewed and they take owenership. They informed me I needed to take my car to Macco for an estimate and it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get a check to fix my car. Here come August 1st with no payment and no one will speak to me about it. I went to the business to get more names like the owner or chain of command and took a picture of the chain of command that was visible on the public side. I only took pictures because when I asked the staff stated they could not give me anyone name. However, what they did do was call the police on me to issue a trespassing warning not allowing me to be on their property for one year. Please keep in mind that I never yelled, cursed, or went off on any level. I only asked for a name and was told no. I did take pictures of the chain of command for an emergency. So I am currently in the process of filing a civil lawsuit for reimbursement. I also ask for reimbursement for the membership that I paid for that day and still haven't received that as promised. When I asked to speak to the manager he seemed so uninterested in my situation and said it wasn't the car wash machine that did the scratches to my car. DON'T GO if you like your car !!!!!! On 10/13/2017 Went through the car wash in my 2014 Tundra. After the wash noticed big dent in right rear quarter panel. I drove back to the car wash spoke with Walter Johnson he asked me to drive my truck back through so he could walk beside and watch the equipment. After exiting the wash we both looked at the damaged area again, then he stated the upper wave bar came in contact with the truck too hard and the roller stopped spinning , "probably a bad shock absorb-er" he said . So he says I will call my manager and get back to me and took a few pics. Now they say there is nothing they can do and He will not give me the contact info for the manager. The manager put my car too close to another vehicle. The vehicle in front of me hit their brakes when the front bumper of her car came off. I was in neutral and the track pulled me into the her car. The insurance company found this establishment 25% liable for the damages. The managers are not allowed to give out the owner information or their insurance information in hopes of the client just going away. I wouldn't take a chance going back there. We went to this car wash on Mother's Day....the car wash basically came apart on my car. Busted my windshield and scratched the hood of my car so bad that the entire roof had to be replaced. Manager or Owner Walter Johnson refuses to speak to my insurance provider and actually hung up on me today when I requested their insurance information. He repeatedly told me that we have that information already and hung up on me. We understand that this was an accident but we would like for the car wash to do the right thing and pay for the damages, the rental car, and the diminished value of the car. Worst place I've ever been. Ever. I left here and went and had my car washed down the road.

I had an awful experience at this carwash. This car does not properly clean your vehicle, leaving harsh soap spots. The bigger issue is if & when there is damage to your vehicle, the management team (which is 1 tiny man with an attitude) will do nothing. My car wiper was damaged and the little man on site tried to tell me that its something we did while going through the wash. He was rude and really just thought I would go away. I asked to look at the camera and he claims it wouldn't play. I told him to press the play button on the screen and he had another excuse for my vehicle not recorded. I asked for the corporate office number and he refused. I asked for his supervisor number and he refused. I called the police for an incident report and will follow up with my insurance. He said corporate would contact me?? well its been almost 4 days and I have not heard from anyone. Went through the wash but it missed a spot because I have a hatchback vehicle and I spoke to the manager to ask for a rewash and he personally came out to make sure it was taken care of for me. It is the worse place to have your car washed. They had a broken apparetus on the car wash machine and it was breaking the drivers mirrors on camaros and volvos. It took them six weeks to get it fixed. My mirror was broken and now I'm taking them to small claims court. read more

My wife and I used to take our three vehicles to this car wash quite often. Their "Basic Car Wash" currently goes for $4.00 which I felt is a good value. However, when I paid for my wash with a $5 bill and did not receive any change I asked the attendant for my money. He instructed me to come back around after my car wash and he would have it. When I looped back around he asked that I wait for the manager. The manager looked at my receipt and said, "The receipt shows that your $1 was dispensed." I assured him it was not. His response was, "It must have blown away." and went on to explain all of their money was in the machine so he could not refund me the dollar. I know it is only a dollar, but this is a "rip off" and incredibly POOR customer service. If I was doing this every month or something, I would understand, but this is the first time I have had a problem after years of patronage. This makes no sense to me.
