This was pretty bad. I don't even leave many bad reviews like this but don't even waste your time. Too many other car wash options within driving distance. It was so bad, I pulled around and told them I needed a refund. They tried to send me around the wash again and the pictures I posted are after going through it a second time and it was still horrible. I should've known when I pulled up on a sunny Saturday afternoon and there were barely any cars present. smh... read more

DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!! YOURE GONNA WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME !!!!! I really want to give 0 stars cuz they don't even deserve the 1. This business is so janky and very expensive for a ineffective car wash and vacuums with little to no suction . My car is still very very dirty and when I went back and asked nicely if I could get another wash because duh my car should be clean if it just got a wash, Chase SM turned me away and said that I should've bought a membership so that I could've gotten unlimited car washes and said my car wash just dirty and there's nothing he can do. read more

Something is always broken. Last time I was in only the most expensive wash was working. Today ALL vacuums were broken. Would have been nice to know before spending $27 on the wash. Put up a sign or something. The wash always leaves my back window untouched. I have mentioned to the workers. They did brush it before entering the wash but still dirty with brush marks. read more

Great service and great car wash ! U should come! The young man helped me with the service!

They a guy standing out at the kiosk saying we can't select the affordable options anymore they only do the $25 + options which are their detail services. Why leave it as an option on the screen change the system if you're going to change the prices. Don't market yourself as affordable. Spend your money elsewhere at any of the other Car Washes Cedar Hill. This place will take your money and leave scratches all over your car not worth the money at all. read more

LONG POST (GIVING YOU DETAIL BY DETAIL): The management is awful, because they hire people that have ZERO customer service skills, and the manager is hardly there. I emailed corporate, and filed a complaint regarding the way the tire shine messes with bottom of my doors (on both my 2019 Accord and 2022 CR-V) leaving a black grease along the bottom skirt. This issue doesn't happen at any of the other locations, but, there is a switch to turn off the tire shine. One time, the worker actually turned off the tire shine, but, on another day with different worker (tried to explain what the other worker did, but, I was argued down), they said that there is no switch. Therefore, I emailed corporate, and they told me that the manager will be there on the next day to meet with me. The next day I arrived, and asked to speak with the manager, but, the worker told me that the manager never showed up. I left, and I have decided that I will never go to the Desoto, TX Take 5 Car Wash (anymore). Two months later, I have being going between the Cedar Hill and Waxahachie location, and as of today, I encountered another bad experience at the Cedar Hill, TX location. First, I am going to confess that I should not have tried to get my car washed prior to an appointment that was almost approaching, but, I thought that I could be fortunate to just go and not have to wait very long. I arrived, and the manager-on-duty (worker not the official manager) is selling the membership to a customer, NO PROBLEM, so, I'll wait. The problem I encountered was there was only one lane open, and the worker was being casual and laid back having a good 'ole conversation with the customer (about 4 mins went by while I was waiting). The worker left to get the membership sticker and application, and I should have left, but, my silly self didn't (I'm trying to be patient). The worker comes back, and is still laid back (mind you didn't seem to notice that I'm waiting and waiting and waiting). So, I skipped around to the bay, hoping that another worker will see my sticker, and get me through. About 20 seconds later, the other car pulls around, and the worker goes off on my about me skipping around the other car (he is right). I apologized nicely, and I tried explain why I did what I did, and he heard me, but, starting fuzzing, and he told me to pull out of the line, so, I put my car into reverse to back out. Then, the worker kept on fuzzing, and he was starting to go into a personal attack, so I stopped him telling him that he doesn't need to go any further because I apologized and I am doing what he told me to do (I did not disrespect him, but, all of that of expressing his anger wasn't necessary, and I'm De-escalating the situation to keep things in control), but, in his tirade, he said, "I am the only one here." A manager-on duty, should NEVER say to a customer that they are the only one working, because, if they had said that to a potential criminal, then, a lot of bad things could happen. I left the facility, but, there is a problem with Take 5 Car Wash Desoto and Cedar Hill locations, in relationship to quality employees. At this point, I have decided to Cancel my Take 5 Car Wash Membership. I could do better at a different car wash company. If you have not had a similar experience (of some sort), then, count yourself lucky. Pray that you don't have to go through what I went through. read more

I chose the 7 dollar wash and was about to pay when a worker came running up saying they only had the 20 dollar and 26 dollar wash. After paying 20 dollars and going through the wash I went to the free vacuums. that was when I noticed my car was still dirty. while I was vacuuming my car they shut off the vacuums. I will be going to the car wash 2 and a half blocks away. read more

Customer service was great! I love this car wash! Best in the cedar hill area. Prices very reasonable.

Went through the wash and the rinse and the dry blower didn't come on. They sent me back through no charge but 2nd time through everything worked but it just didn't rinse the soap off. Had to go to a do it yourself wash to get the soap off. {Black vehicle} People are very nice though. read more

$3 for a basic wash with pre-spot cleaning by the attendants. Also, free vacuums! I had no problems with my vehicle. I am elated there still exists a $4 basic wash when most other places start at $6-8 dollars. read more

I went to this location on June 10th, while going through the carwash my bumper was completely removed from my car. One of their employees had to return to the carwash inside and bring it back to me. My car had no prior damaged and I was who is going to take care of this. I was told that the manager would need to review the video and get back to me to see if my car had prior damage. Moving forward 30 mins or less the staff came to me and stated that the video was reviewed and they take owenership. They informed me I needed to take my car to Macco for an estimate and it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get a check to fix my car. Here come August 1st with no payment and no one will speak to me about it. I went to the business to get more names like the owner or chain of command and took a picture of the chain of command that was visible on the public side. I only took pictures because when I asked the staff stated they could not give me anyone name. However, what they did do was call the police on me to issue a trespassing warning not allowing me to be on their property for one year. Please keep in mind that I never yelled, cursed, or went off on any level. I only asked for a name and was told no. I did take pictures of the chain of command for an emergency. So I am currently in the process of filing a civil lawsuit for reimbursement. I also ask for reimbursement for the membership that I paid for that day and still haven't received that as promised. I have been more than calm and patient but yet they have not kept their word. If anyone has any information that can be helpful please reach out to me. 9723658949, read more

Take 5 carwash - bumper removed after going through car wash - Car Wash Near Me - Cedar Hill, Texas

my car is very very clean . Kj was very friendly and helpful . I will definitely be back !!!

Wash malfunctioned halfway through, made my car stop and a car behind me was pushed through until her car rear ended me. I had to put my car in drive and drive out of the car wash. Explained this to management and they got defensive. I was told that I "must have put my hands on the wheel or something." Which I didn't. I know how to go through a car wash. Garbage customer service. Garbage machines. read more

Save your dollars. The car wash cut off on me in the middle of the cycle I had to drive through. The manager refused to give me my money back then refused to provide his name after I advised that I would be calling corporate. Typical! The associates did not provide information as to why the car wash broke down in the middle of the cycle and the machine would only take credit cards and not cash because it was down. He then began to cuss at me telling me "he didn't need this shit." Very unprofessional. Take your business elsewhere. read more

It's 3:43pm on a gorgeous, zero-cloud in the sky Saturday afternoon and they're closed!! I don't know the reason why they're closed right now, but they're losing A LOT of business!! I'm at the $3 car wash in Duncanville and its so BUSY that the line is spilling into the frontage road on 67!! Whoever owns the car wash in Cedar Hill needs to get their head in the game and get it up and running. Days like today you can't afford to be closed!! read more

I have 3 gift cards that no longer function. I have emailed the general manager twice, texted him once, and spoken with him on the phone once. First time here, had a horrible experience. The car wash machine scratched my brand new 2017 Honda Accord Sport. When I asked to speak to the manager he seemed so uninterested in my situation and said it wasn't the car wash machine that did the scratches to my car. I proceeded to show him the residue left from the scratches! He looked at me like I was dumb with a blank stare. I then asked if I could have a number to speak to someone above him, since he seemed so uninterested. I asked for the name of his manager and he didn't even know it? Who doesn't know the name of their own manager??? I just emailed corporate hopefully they're are more professional about the way they handle their customers needs and complaints. I will not be returning. read more

This car wash messed up a side panel on my car. Whatever the body shop cost me plus the $10 wash is gonna be an expensive wash. :-(

One star is way too much! Terrible customer service!! Paid for the $10 car wash and my car doesn't look like even got washed. I called to complain and got told they couldn't do anything about it. I will never return to this awful place! read more

DON'T GO if you like your car !!!!!! On 10/13/2017 Went through the car wash in my 2014 Tundra. After the wash noticed big dent in right rear quarter panel. I drove back to the car wash spoke with Walter Johnson he asked me to drive my truck back through so he could walk beside and watch the equipment. After exiting the wash we both looked at the damaged area again, then he stated the upper wave bar came in contact with the truck too hard and the roller stopped spinning , "probably a bad shock absorb-er" he said . So he says I will call my manager and get back to me and took a few pics. Now they say there is nothing they can do and He will not give me the contact info for the manager. Looks like I will be headed to small claims court not fun. Please don't put your self through this head ache. read more

Free vacuum? Sold. Free vacuum that's actually good and cleans your car better than the valet car washes? Get me in line. $3 wash that included more than just a hose down? Get me to the front of the line. Sucks the other reviewer had such a poor experience. However, the place is packed every time I've gone, so clearly they're doing well. I've never had any car scratches, so they're good in my book! read more

The manager put my car too close to another vehicle. The vehicle in front of me hit their brakes when the front bumper of her car came off. I was in neutral and the track pulled me into the her car. The insurance company found this establishment 25% liable for the damages. The managers are not allowed to give out the owner information or their insurance information in hopes of the client just going away. I wouldn't take a chance going back there. Everything is good unless they damage your car. This is a terrible place of business! read more

Worst place I've ever been. Ever. I left here and went and had my car washed down the road.

We went to this car wash on Mother's Day....the car wash basically came apart on my car. Busted my windshield and scratched the hood of my car so bad that the entire roof had to be replaced. Manager or Owner Walter Johnson refuses to speak to my insurance provider and actually hung up on me today when I requested their insurance information. He repeatedly told me that we have that information already and hung up on me. We understand that this was an accident but we would like for the car wash to do the right thing and pay for the damages, the rental car, and the diminished value of the car. There is no denying that this was a result of faulty equipment. read more

I had an awful experience at this carwash. This car does not properly clean your vehicle, leaving harsh soap spots. The bigger issue is if & when there is damage to your vehicle, the management team (which is 1 tiny man with an attitude) will do nothing. My car wiper was damaged and the little man on site tried to tell me that its something we did while going through the wash. He was rude and really just thought I would go away. I asked to look at the camera and he claims it wouldn't play. I told him to press the play button on the screen and he had another excuse for my vehicle not recorded. I asked for the corporate office number and he refused. I asked for his supervisor number and he refused. I called the police for an incident report and will follow up with my insurance. He said corporate would contact me?? well its been almost 4 days and I have not heard from anyone. I will never return to this wash and will tell all of my friends to tell their friends the same. read more

The owner that runs this car wash had plenty of excuses as to why my car was still dirty. My car nor any other cars that I saw looked close to being clean. My wife and I used to take our three vehicles to this car wash quite often. Their "Basic Car Wash" currently goes for $4.00 which I felt is a good value. However, when I paid for my wash with a $5 bill and did not receive any change I asked the attendant for my money. He instructed me to come back around after my car wash and he would have it. When I looped back around he asked that I wait for the manager. The manager looked at my receipt and said, "The receipt shows that your $1 was dispensed." I assured him it was not. His response was, "It must have blown away." and went on to explain all of their money was in the machine so he could not refund me the dollar. I know it is only a dollar, but this is a "rip off" and incredibly POOR customer service. If I was doing this every month or something, I would understand, but this is the first time I have had a problem after years of patronage. This makes no sense to me. They have lost a customer over $1 and I will never be back to a place that thinks so little of their customers! read more
