This car wash uses high-pressure sales tactics to try to get you onto their monthly plan which is automatically debited from your account. I repeatedly tell them I'm not interested and they continually explain to me how it is "the cheapest option" and that I should be doing it. (I only visit here once every other month so it's not the cheapest option.) Even when I ask for the cheapest option one time car wash, I get pressured to buy a more expensive wash due to them telling me that the cheapest option will not adequately wash my tires. My son visited this site and was led to believe that he needed to sign up for the monthly plan. He's only 16 years old. I don't feel that it is right for them to be so pushy in getting people to sign up for auto debit from their account. Especially when speaking with a minor, this feels very predatory and inappropriate. When he went back to cancel the plan, he was treated very rudely and was unable to get it canceled quickly and conveniently. The car wash itself is fine, which is why I give it three stars. Easy in and out, but you have to go through high-pressure sales tactics first. I feel the manager should teach them to tone it down a bit. Especially when dealing with someone under the age of 18. It has been a year since Take 5 bought out Magic Tunnel and converted this location. There have been some trade offs, such as eliminating the employees manually scrubbing the front and rear bumpers before going into the wash, but adding the staton with towels and window/surface cleaner bottles. At the end of the day, the price increased a bit and the quality of the wash went down. The cleaning of the car surface isn't as thorough. I don't know what they did, but my car never leaves the wash dry. It isn't a little wet, it is very wet after the dryers, every time. Speaking of wet, towels are a great idea, but they are always damp. You can go through the stacks of towels and there is never an actual dry towel. That can work for drying the car to make up for the ineffective dryers, but damp towels make for streaky windows. For the price it is simply okay. I was a monthly subscriber for two cars with Magic tunnel. Now I take one car to Take 5 every 2-3 months to spend the time hand drying. Otherwise I go someplace outside of Circleville like Grove City, Columbus or Chillicothe since I drive those places all the time anyway. read more

they double charged me when i went thru on 12/23. i have contacted the company several times. you can't get an 800 number. it is slow going back and forth. its a joke. today they emailed me and they want Name on the account? RFID # that is on your windshield? If you have multiple, please list them. Amount and date of purchase or most recent bill? Copies of credit card or bank statement? FIRST FIVE AND LAST FOUR of the credit or debit card on the account? really? you double charged me. they sent my credit card thru 2 cars in a row. i am NOT going to give you a bank stmt, etc just send me the $22. it was your mistake. i already sent these ppl the 2 receipts from that day. the local employee provided these for me. she was very helpful but she cannot reimburse me update. take 5 contacted me and has sent a reimbursement to my credit card. thank you read more

I've been a customer for several years and was always well satisfied when it was the Magic Tunnel. Since the changeover to Take 5 about 4 months ago it has been AWFUL. I have memberships for 2 cars and have the following concerns that I didn't have with Magic Tunnel: 1. They no longer brush the front of your car prior to washing and the bugs are still there after wash. 2. The car comes out wet after the dry cycle. 3. Spots ALL Over the car when it DOES finally dry. 4. No sign of tire shine EVER. 5. No air fresheners EVER. I guess I'll go back to the self service carwash and save my $50/month. Please note that the positive ratings on this page are from the time that it was still a Magic Tunnel Carwash. The one positive is the employees are very friendly and helpful. read more
