My longtime shea butter supplier is no longer in business and I have been on the hunt for a new quality shea butter supplier as I have very sensitive dry skin. I came across Taj and stopped by about a month ago after speaking to them over the phone and I purchased the pineapple scent to see how it would do and I loved it. I recently came back and decided to also try a few oils in addition to more shea butter as they have many scents. The staff are all so very helpful and patient and they give recommendations as well. My first shopping experience of the year and it was perfect. I had a friend come in town and I wanted to bring her to Taj because she is quite found of my lavender and chamomile shea butter cream. This was my second time shopping in this store. My friend was excited and jumping from aisle to aisle. We ended up purchasing sage, imported oils, edible sea moss in a jar, and black seed oil. My friend had questions and one of the owners came over to help she was friendly, professional and honest! She educated us on many of the products and advised that shipping is an option. When I accidentally walked into their door instead of sally beauty the scent of relaxation had me asking the sally clerk what was that place next door. She told me they have the best essential oils. I was compelled and glad I did. The owner Zazz recommended an imported oil from Mecca called Golden Sands. They recommended the best oils for me to help me relax and to catch a boyfriend. I highly recommend this location this establishment and this wonderful amazing couple ownership. This is a family establishment they are new to Charlotte but they have been in business for over 20 years. Zazz and his wife Simone are an awesome couple for this amazing establishment. It is so interesting how things play out in life sometimes. I literally was thinking to myself all week that I needed to research where I could find incenses. I go to lunch at Portofino's and when I walked out I got a wiff of an amazing smell. I thought to myself, "oh my goodness where is that coming from." I go to my car so I wouldn't be looking crazy sniffing like a dog. I Googled Taj Essentials because I figured that might be where it was coming from. I saw the website and hopped right back out my car to go inside. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and felt so welcomed. The owners were so joyful and you could feel their positive energy. Ya'll when I say there are options here, there are OPTIONS. It was like the candy store at the mall but essential oils, candles, soaps, etc. Any scent you could think of they have it. And they have the scents you can't think of nor ever heard of. I ended up buying 4 packs of incenses, soap, and 2 bottles of car spray. The prices are amazing! You def get a bang for your buck! Went into the store today, and it was busy. To be expected with great products, repeat customers and warm customer service. Taj educated me on peppermint oil that I was seeking to control plant gnats. I ended up buying oil to burn, body oil, lotion with lavender, edible sea moss with tumeric and ginger, shea butter and several cute bracelets. I also purchased incense, something I haven't even seen since the "good ole days." LOL I will definitely return as I would like to purchase more body oils and lots of other items I saw in the store.
