I visited this store on other occasions, but had an especially lovely experience within the past month. Unfortunately I did not catch a name, but there was a young woman assisting in the wig dept who was awesomely AMAZING! I was there for moral support with a loved one who was wig-shopping due to hair loss for a medical reason This staff member was exceptionally patient, kind and empathetic! Additionally the wig selection was superb! I definitely peeped some items for myself! Pricing was a little hiked in comparison to what I have seen in other places for similar styles on the wigs. Also the wig area is on upper level so not sure if there is elevator access. However, this is a massive supply store so likely to find what you're looking for. I encountered at least two staff members during my most recent trip and had positive experiences with them both. I will definitely visit again! read more

If you go to Ti-Sun Beauty Supply, and you should, make sure you have at least an hour to browse because it is a treasure trove of cool, inexpensive beauty products. Any makeup lovers in Concord should be well-acquainted with this awesome shop. Right upon entry there is a big NYX stand, a cult-favorite makeup brand famed for its matte lipsticks and felt-tip eyeliner pens. There is a tester for EVERYTHING in Ti-Sun! There are no disposable sanitary applicators so bring your own if hygiene is a concern. Ti-Sun Beauty Supply has products for makeup, nails, hair...pretty much everything. They also have quite a collection of inexpensive jewelry (99 cents and up!), notably hoop earrings of all sizes, metals, and textures. Every time I go in I find something I love; my last visit it was a 99 cent unexpectedly highly-pigmented lip gloss that I have been passing on to all of my friends. My favorite part of Ti-Sun Beauty Supply is the wig area--SO MUCH FUN! Hair wraps are required ($1 each, or bring your own) to try on wigs, and you must use a fresh wrap every three wigs. The associates will help you try on wigs from the display and there are mirrors to check out your new do! If you find one you want to purchase, the associate will go to the back to retrieve your wig. I am not experienced with wigs, but Ti-Sun offers lace-front wigs, human and synthetic hair, and has wigs at all different price points. I knocked off a star because of Ti-Sun's customer service. It can be very hit or miss, and it is not due to the language barrier. On several visits while browsing and checking out testers I felt rushed by the associate and pressured to buy something. I am sure they have an issue with shoplifting because of the store set-up but customers should be treated with respect! Also, the store is not very aesthetically appealing...it gives off a warehouse vibe, an ugly beauty store! When shopping in downtown Concord, make sure to stop in Ti-Sun Beauty Supply! I think this place is great! Not only do they have the ethnic supplies as the reviewer listed below, but it also has lots of other "salon only" options like redken and paul mitchell. I didn't have any problems with the service, and when I asked a question it was answered in a knowledgeable fashion. This place has it all! Forget Jessica Simpson/Ken Paves hair extensions for hundreds - you can get it here for so so so much cheaper! Wedding rhinestones, pageant tairas and sceptres, costume jewelry - ding, ding ding - winner all around (it's where I got my wedding stuff for WAY WAY less than any bridal boutique). Yes, they have ethnic hair stuff but there's no rule that you have to be African-American to shop there -- this is the new millenium, people. Plus, they carry everything from Nexxus to Redken to OPI! Mood-change lipstick for $1? Got it! Skinny bets? Yup. It's a fun place to pick up just random stuff! Go shop, have fun! read more

I visited your store for the first time in June and was very happy with the hair I purchased. I live in Cary NC but willing to drive to concord every time I need to purchase hair and hair products. So the hair salon is in the back of the beauty supply store. Ask for Andrea she is awesome. Reviewed stylist in the area and she came up during my search. I didn't have an appointment, it was more like an "I'm bored so I'll find something to do while I wait." She was welcoming and accepted last minute walk ins. I had no idea what I wanted done to my hair, but she definitely came through with a great style. She immediately sat me down in one of her salon chairs, even though she was already busy. I am very unhappy with the service and with the false advertisement. I went to buy a wig. I picked out the one I wanted and they didn't even have that wig in stock. Then, the woman told me she would order that wig for me...... Over a month later, I call and she still had not ordered that wig for me. I have called several times over the last month inquiring info about the order and she continues so say "oh, I haven't ordered it yet... Call back in 2 weeks.." I am not a happy costumer. I will never patronize this establishment again! I am a healthcare professional and a co-worker told me that Tisun's carries Ms jessies, well being a hugh fan of Ms jessies I went straight to the store and low and behold they had the same promotion offered online, buy one get one free, well I picked up the items and was carrying them around the store while I continued to shop. When along came one of the saleswomen and snatched them items up out of my hands! She followed me around the store prior to that as if I was going to steal something! I was so mortified! I don't know how this store has continued to stay in business for as long as it has. Selection is impressive but staff is not the least bit helpful. Upon entering the store with my toddler in a stroller, 2 employees looked right at me and gave a half-smile, then disappeared. With nobody in sight to ask for assistance, I browsed the store on my own. Some of the aisles were blocked by merchandise stacked up on the floor so I didn't even try to get around it, just skipped the aisle entirely. After about 10 or 15 minutes, a woman approached me and basically told me that I was not allowed to be in there because I had a stroller! I asked what she suggested I do (if there was a place I could park the stroller while I shop), and all of a sudden she wanted to act as though she didn't speak english...just looked at me & said "because aisles so small." So I said "Are you asking me to leave?" to which she replied nothing but a blank stare. When I told her I would go elsewhere to spend my money, she had no response and simply watched as I walked out the door. I am fully aware of the destruction a small child can cause inside a store so tightly packed with merchandise, which is precisely why I had mine in a stroller and not on foot, running free as some of the other children in the store were. He had not touched a single item, neither had my intrusive stroller! What if I'd been pushing a wheelchair instead of a stroller? They claim to be handicap accessible, which I can only assume means that its ok to barrel over the piles of yak hair stacked up on the floor, IF you can even get through the door because of the huge table of junk they have directly in front of it! Apparently these ingrates are NOT in the business of making money!
