I came to Dr. B with 17 year old saline implants & concerns of possible BII. I had an autoimmune antibody number and systemic inflammation that equaled about 7-10 lbs on the scale, and being in the functional medicine field, I did everything I knew to help my body with its health. Of course I was apprehensive to removing the implants, and spoke to Dr. B about doing an explant capsulectomy w/ replacing the saline implants first, to see if it helped my issues. He thought this was a logical option, and, if it didn't correct my issues within the first year, he said we could then do an explant w/ fat transfer. I thought this was a great solution! My surgery on 9/1/2021 was a success. The whole team was amazing, nice, and made me feel at ease. 10 days after my surgery was when the trouble began. I knew I was in pain, and unbeknownst to me, I had a fast bleeding hematoma in the right breast. When I called Dr. B's nurses, they asked me send pictures and called me back to tell me to get into the office ASAP. They stayed on the phone with me while my husband rushed me to their office. I was in terrible amounts of pain by the time we got to the car. Once at the office, Dr. B had me put under and opened up within 5 minutes of arriving to their Huntersville location. It was super scary! He reopened the right side scar, removed the implant, fixed the artery that was bleeding and put me back together. Dr. B thanked my husband for getting me there so quickly. He explained to us that a hematoma can happen for unknown reasons, and the key is getting it found and cauterized ASAP. That was a traumatic situation, and it took me a bit to heal from that. Dr. B wanted to see me 2 times a week and he took lots of extra time with me and my husband. All was going along fine, and 10 days later, my left side had a slow bleeding hematoma. Dr. B had to reopen me back up on the left side to cauterize the slow bleeding vein, then sew me back up again. This one was not scary, because it was slowly bleeding. The recovery from this one was easier, however, due to my sensitive situation, Dr. B had me coming into the office every week to see him for follow ups. At this point, I was becoming good friends with all of the staff and sent Dr. B & team flowers for taking such good care of me during my unusual recovery. Even though my experience was unorthodox, Dr. B made it right and treated me extremely well during all of this. He just wanted to make sure I was okay and my surgery would be a success. He truly shows his care for you as a human, not just a patient. Which is hard to come by. Why did I have two hematoma bleeds you ask? After doing my own studies, I do believe it has to do with having a severe case of Covid 4 weeks prior to surgery. Covid can make your veins "seep blood". My advice, wait at least 6 months after having Covid to have a surgery. As far as my results... My scars have been cut out and restitched 2 times on each side. Dr. B's work is incredible! The placement of the scar is perfect and his stitch work is highly skilled. My autoimmune number has been cut in 1/2! And ...up to this point this is the first real movement I have had in 5 years since tracking this number. My inflammation also seems to have reduced as well, which is great news! I am super happy with my new implants and the work Dr. Bharti has done to help me with this whole experience! From how he treats you as a human (not just a patient) to the highly skilled work he performs - I would recommend Dr. Bharti to anyone.

I was 51 when I finally had my breast reduction and lift, but I've lived with large breasts since FIFTH GRADE. This wasn't some random cosmetic procedure I decided I wanted one day. I waited most of my life to do this. I wanted ONE surgery. I wanted to do it right, follow the instructions, heal and finally be done with something I had dealt with since I was a little girl. I honestly wish now that I had never done it. I hate my result. Looking back, I don't feel like Dr. K ever took the time to really understand what I wanted. He didn't measure me. We didn't have a detailed conversation about what size I wanted to be, how much lift I wanted or what I expected my breasts to look like afterward. There was no drawing out a plan with me and making sure we were on the same page. At first I thought he was just quiet. Eventually, I felt dismissed. I didn't know what I didn't know. I'd never had this surgery before. I trusted the surgeon to be the expert and guide me through the process. The night before surgery made things worse. I was given Dr. K's phone number and spoke directly with him less than 24 hours before my procedure about a medication I take regularly. My hairdresser was sitting there and heard the conversation. While I was trying to get important instructions about medication before surgery the next morning, his attention seemed divided by an argument or situation involving his children happening around him. He told me not to take the medication. So I didn't. I arrived for surgery with severe anxiety. Then the anesthesiologist told me something completely different. My recollection is that I was told anesthesia had explained multiple times that someone who takes this medication regularly, the way I do, could take it. Then I'm already prepped and literally about to be taken back for surgery, and I can hear nurses talking about Dr. K being in a bad mood. Imagine lying there about to be put under anesthesia and hearing that about the person who is about to operate on you. The anesthesiologist was honestly the one person that day who made me feel comfortable and cared for. The whole experience felt like too many hands in the pot and not enough communication. After surgery, I followed the instructions. ALL OF THEM. I wore the bra. I have basically lived in a bra. I even followed instructions that I later learned may not have been necessary because I was determined to do everything I could to get the best possible result. And here I am. I can STILL hold a pencil underneath my breast. I paid for a breast reduction AND A LIFT. I'm 52. I wasn't expecting the breasts of a 20-year-old. I wasn't expecting perfection. But I absolutely expected better than this. I'm unhappy with the shape and the amount of lift. I have concerns about my scars and I'm unhappy with areas around my upper arms and sides as well. But what really gets me is the follow-up. Where is it? Nobody from this company has contacted me to find out how I ultimately healed or whether I'm happy with my result. Dr. K hasn't checked on me. There aren't even proper after pictures documenting my final result. I feel like I became another person in line. And then I watched a friend go through this process AFTER me. She consulted with Dr. K and told me she was quoted around $30,000. She ultimately chose another surgeon and paid around $7,000. Her result is beautiful. But the money isn't what got me. It was watching what her surgeon did BEFORE surgery. He measured her. He talked about exactly what size she wanted. He drew everything out. He explained what he was going to do. He made sure they were on the same page. I remember thinking, where the hell was any of that for me? I waited from the time I was a little fifth-grade girl until I was a 51-year-old woman to finally do this. Now I may have to go through another surgery, another anesthesia and another recovery to get the result I thought I was getting the first time. That's exactly what I spent all those years trying to avoid. I don't want a generic response underneath this review telling me to call the office. I want someone in H/K/B management who actually has the authority to address this to contact me. I want my result evaluated. I want proper postoperative pictures taken. I want someone to actually LISTEN to what I wanted in the first place. And I want another qualified surgeon to evaluate whether this can be corrected and have a real conversation with me about what H/K/B is willing to do to make this right. I prepared. I followed the instructions. I gave my body time to heal. I waited almost my entire life to do this once. I had a tummy tuck and back lipo on 3/18/21 at a cosmetic center in Miami, Florida because I have a higher BMI. Unfortunately, I have experienced post op complications and my surgeon or cosmetic center have not returned my many inquiries and cry for medical attention. I was admitted to the ER, had a CT scan confirming a seroma/hematoma and followed up with my PCP. They were unable to assist, and referred me to a plastic surgeon. However after calling 5 plastic surgery centers in Charlotte NC, none were willing to take me on as a patient to treat me post operatively. I was so sad, felt so defeated, and have been very miserable. Today I googled Plastic surgeons, Concord NC and Renaissance Plastic Surgery was the first result. I contacted them and spoke with TISH and basically explained my life story. She was so caring and attentive and confirmed that they would be happy to provide me with care, set expectations on the potential cost per visit, and set me up with an appointment same day. When I arrived, I met BRANDY at the front desk - she was also excellent. TISH and BRANDY have genuine caring personalities and warming demeanor. After checking in, I met TIFFANY who took my pictures. She was amazing as well. I'm telling you, the entire staff and medical team are really out of this world. Accompanied with, I met DR. ANDREW KOCHUBA. When I tell you PHEONEMAL!!!!!!! He spent 1 hour 15 minutes examining me, read my entire profile and medical history (I read his career profile as well - very impressive collegiate and professional accomplishments). He has excellent bedside manner, was honest, respectful and treated me with care. I am overwhelmed with emotion right now writing this review because the past couple of weeks I've been extremely doubtful and sad. During today's appointment, I got drained, he confirmed that everything looks good and is healing well. He scheduled me to follow up in 2 weeks for a 1 month check up and to monitor/remove my drains. He also provided me with wound care information, and tips to ensure I heal properly. Dr. Kochuba was very kind and thorough. And I cannot stress enough how caring and attentive the entire staff was. I feel so blessed. Dr. Kochuba also told me after 2 more visits, I only need to see him if there's a complication. This was also surprising because so many businesses (including medical) want you to return because it increases their profit; but not Dr. Kochuba...that speaks volumes for Renaissance Plastic Surgery. Additionally, my visit was inexpensive for the level of care I received. I'm also interested in improving a couple of other areas on my body in the near future and will definitely be going to Dr. Kochuba. This was honestly one of my best experiences. Excellent customer service, thorough, demonstrated expertise, provided peace of mind, patient, genuine....just excellent all the way around. The manager did reach out, apologized for my experience, and told me she would speak with the laser technician to review my progress and treatment history. Unfortunately, after that conversation, I never heard back. There was no follow-up, no explanation, no concern for the lack of results, and no effort to address my experience. What disappointed me most was not only the lack of results, but the lack of customer care. Once my concerns were raised, communication completely stopped. It left me feeling as though the focus was on collecting payments rather than ensuring clients achieve successful outcomes.
