We are in our late 70s and, through the years, have worked with various remodeling companies and Tailored Roofing and Remodeling was by far the worse! We signed our agreement in December at which time they said work would begin in February and take 2-3 days to complete. The work was not started on time and not finished until July! The installers had to be called out more than once to either finish work or redo work. Sometimes they would call and say they were coming but then would not show up. They would stop in the middle of a job and go to another work place. Sometimes they would arrive late in the afternoon and other times they would show up without notice. This company was very hard to deal with and on top of everything else they gave us a shower pan (floor) that is slick! We feel like we were put on the backburner for everything! read more

Case # 33156 as 100% disabled Veteran, retired from govt service, providing home care for 86 y/o stroke victim, paralyzed on left side 250 lb. mother, an 80 yr old uncle with full Alzheimer's and at times an 11 yr old g.niece, and I, was suffering from a needed hip replacement i thought I would get a shower so I could bathe my mom properly and I could have a safe place to wind down from care giving I called Tailored Remodeling of Wichita, Ks. who sent "Josh" an employee that no longer works with them, to take my measurements etc. I specifically told him I needed a handicapped shower to bathe my mom in a shower chair. I also told Josh please give me what I ask for and not what you might think I can afford. I need this shower to come out to this wall. The product arrives and it comes about 18 inches Short from where I told him it needs to be. I told him, that doesn't look like its coming out to the wall. Josh just kind of rolled shoulders. I wanted to punch him. Now I'm in my house with 2 men and my handicapped mom. At this point, it took the wind out of me. Especially when I didn't have time to wait another minute, or another 3-6 weeks to redo this shower. By Christmas Day of 2022, I lost my mom and my uncle in 2024. I was in mourning and was also going through depression and anxiety which is part of my service connected disability. in 2026, as i still awaken in mourning, to resolve this with who ever the head guy is which he came to my house and looked at the job, yall the shower is 29 inches. the almost exact width of the soap dish and folding chair seat, and the curtain barely reaches the floor the water drip outside the shower pan and on my floor unless I keep the seat up. Not only that, I have to stay scrunched up to the corner soap tray tower so the water doesn't spray out of the shower. Also I ACCIDENTLY, over paid the lending company 15k and I paid it early. There is NO way I should have this Shi++¥ little shower. So if you choose to deal with this company, when they take your measurements of what You want, You make sure you measure and validate that they are giving you what you want and not what they want you to have or think what not can afford, or judge what you deserve. The guy who came to my house said he thinks I just have buyers remorse. You darn right I do. I am remorseful of buying their product. I told Josh what I wanted and why I needed it, Josh saw my mother and knew that shower would not work and gave it to me not giving a single fk. they wasted my VA benefits on this shower as I was having my 1st service connected full hip replacement. And another thing, the dude that came to my house told I got what I paid for. Of course, I pay my bills. That wasn't what I told Josh I wanted. He put the measurements on the paperwork of what he wanted me to have and since I didn't consider that I should've babysat a professional and expected him to give me the measurements I wanted, I assumed it was supposed to be a "tailored" fit, he told me they only have a certain sized floor pan for handicapped showers. 1974 tub & surround were replaced by Tailored Roofing & Remodeling. I'd give the installer a 4-star. Our biggest issues are the shower head and the tub faucet. Salesman and installer were both notified of our high water pressure. The non adjustable shower head feels like the spray of a thousand needles. An adjustable shower head was not offered. To fill a bucket from the faucet in the tub is impossible. The water just sprays all over. Thus, a 1-star on functionality. We thought we were going to have a good company. I contracted with Taylored Remodeling to install a walk in bath tub for 18,000 dollars. The problem is they did not tie the job into my tile floor and started the peeling on my ceiling. So needless to say I am left to repair the flooring and the ceiling. read more

Our 3 day bath room remodel is now late into its second month. Tailored received a $9300.00 down payment in mid February to get materials ordered and it is now mid July and they are less than 50% complete! They say they have the materials to finish and give us a date then call 2 days before that's to tell us they don't have the materials. Ten days go by and we find out they haven't even ordered the missing materials because the girl who was supposed to order them was getting married and "she wasn't thinking clearly". We contracted on April 7, 2022 for our bathroom tub/shower to be replaced with a walk in shower. They told us it would take about 3 months before they could install because it would take that long to get the product. An installer came on July 20, 2022 to do the install, but after tearing out our tub/shower combo and installing the first replacement panel on the soap wall I discovered that the wrong product was being installed. They were installing Roman block and that is not what I ordered. I ordered subway tile. The job was stopped and phone calls were made. It was discovered that the company had ordered the wrong product for my job. They told me they would expedite this and it shouldn't be too long before they can finish. It has now been a month since our bathroom tub/shower has been torn out and still no sign of a replacement. Whenever I call for an update I have to leave a voice mail and wait for someone to call me back. I would not recommend purchasing from this company unless you are willing to wait many many months for the job to be done. Just hope they get it right the first time before they tear out your tub/shower and leave you with nothing but a hole in your wall. After we signed our contract, the customer service has been deplorable. Very dissatisfied with this company. But I must say the installer was excellent. He knew what he was doing. He kept the work space clean and he worked hard and conscientiously. The installer was great. The company stinks. They are obviously selling jobs that they cannot install in a timely manner. I expected a three month turn around, but the company's failure to order the right product in the first place has now turned my job into four month waiting time and no end in sight. Our roof was totaled in a hail storm this spring and our neighborhood was flooded with both local and out of town roofers looking for work. Tailored was one of the companies that came by and after talking to Roy a couple of times I was convinced they were going to provide the best service. I did some of my own research online to compare the products Tailored was using over some of the competing bids and found that Tailored used a higher quality shingle. Roy was very knowledgeable, personable and listened to my questions and concerns. Once we chose to use Tailored to replace our roof, we scheduled a date and other than a rain delay everything went smooth and fast. I met with one of the job foreman's that had stopped by while they were working and was greeted with the same professionalism and courtesy. Once the roof was done Roy came by and inspected their work and actually pointed out a small detail he didn't like about the way the chimney was wrapped, he contacted the roofers and they came out the next day, first thing in the morning and corrected the issue.
