It was awesome when we had issues with contractors and had Mike and Jessica to help us get the contractors to get the work done. We appreciated Ubuildits advice and they were always available when we needed them. They also helped us with county inspections and made sure we were in compliance all along the way. The driver pulled out of a parking lot into the main road very suddenly, forcing me to quickly move into the next lane to avoid an accident. There was also a school bus behind me, so the situation felt very unsafe and stressful. I did honk out of panic, which I acknowledge may not have helped the situation. However, after we both stopped at the same stop sign, the driver began recording me instead of simply moving on. That behavior felt unprofessional and reflected poorly on the company. I hope the company addresses safe driving practices with its employees to help prevent situations like this in the future.

I told them on a room that small, only about $15,000 max. They then informed me it would take a minimum of $36,000. I told them that would too much for such a small bath especially since I only $100,000 for the whole house so they left. I ended up getting it remodeled for $7,000 plus materials, about $11,000 total. Seems the only reason they were using lubricant was to hold the sand on. I cannot recommend these people at all. Just so you know, I have an education and experience in architecture and engineering. Apparently, to them, I looked like a rube.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! This is my first ever review I have written and its because…read morethe people of this company have pushed me this far! We rented a twonhome from them between 2013-2014 and they guy "DAN" has nothing but oied the whole time to ALL of his tenants just to get the homes filled. First we started off fine but them we smelled a horrible smell coming from the laundry room and utility room. Calld Dan and he said he would have someone out there asap to look at it, 2 WEEKS when bye with numerous phone calls and nothing. Finally they came out and said it was our washer making the bad sewer smell. They said they moved the drain up on our wsher and it was fixed. NOPE it was not. After him talking down to me like I was trash I was uspet that he did it and he was still wrong. Right after all that happened, there was a leak in the bathroom that went out into the front room our carpet was wet and selled like dirty dog. We had to live with that for a good month after calling him numerous times AGAIN! he said he would get someone out. But told me that it was probably from me using the shower. I was very upset after that because I had never used that bathroom, it was a guest bathroom and my wife and I always used our master bath, so we knew he was lying there again. After a month of living with the carpet being wet from the leak continuing it was finally fixed. My wife and I thought that the bad stuff was done and we could live in our place stress free " since this was the first 5 months of living there". NOT!!! We called him because the microwave had broke and would not work. We called him on that AND told him that the back window was starting to crack. He said okay he will take care of it. About 2 months went by and the microwave finally arrived at the house and was installed. Luckily we had a backup microwave we had in storage. But the window wasnever fixed, that was not a big deal untill when we mived he accuses us of creating that crack. We never even open that window OR moved the curtains bu a few time a month because it was facng the west and drew in the hot sun. Now while all this is happening the neighbors are experiencing the sewer smell and other mishaps at the same time. Our next door neighbor even had to stay in a hotel room because there carpets where bad and smelled. And if you plan on moving in which I hope you dont because it will be the worst year of your life, count on not getting your deposit back but only a quarter of it. They will nickel and dime you on small stuff that was there before you moved in. BTW SBA as an old buisness owner of handyman home inspections and tepair I never knew painting a door and 6" piece of trim to be a $300 fix. I would of done it for $75. This is not the end of my comlaint, your tenant in number 1, I dont see why you had to lie to her telling her that the old tenants were military and and they moved when you knew that the person living there had passed away in the master bedroom. When this woman WHO just got out of a divorce and was taking care of 2 teenage daughters heard about this she could not stop crying. ALL be because you wanted to fill that space with a tenant you lier. NOPE!! It dont stop here either sorry SBA. Why are the electric bills for these places $300+ average ans maybe if it was a good month it was $180? And also why do you tell people that the walla are sound proof when we hear our neighboors yelling and screaming next door? Our neighboor said she even heard it from 2 homes down. Maybe ill leve you guys with a little dignity and leave a few more things out. BTW the sewer smell is not fixed the day we moved out it was bad and what do you know our washer and dryers were at our new house? Huh explain that.

Review - River City Painting Adam came out and gave us a…read morequote for the inside and outside of our house. He was very professional and very good. We were told the job would take three weeks to complete, 1 for the outside and 2 for the inside. The first week, a crew of 4 arrived, they started on the outside of the house. For the first 1 1/2 weeks they did great, so good in fact, that we thought at the rate they were going they would be done with everything in another week. Then the company started messing with the crew. Instead of being at our house from 9-5 they were there from 9-1 or 10-2; then off somewhere else. They pulled people off our house and substituted with others, and things started going downhill. Instead of the 3 weeks we were told, it took 5 1/2 weeks to complete the project. They started creating problems they had to come back to fix. They caulked between the garage doors and the stone wall and then used a white caulk, and of course it spread out over the wood and stone, then they painted to cover it up. It looked terrible with a jagged edge on the stone. They had to come back, cut the caulk back to the wood, then recaulk with clear and repaint. They took 10 wood blinds out of the windows. Some of the windows had wood frames, some were plaster frames. They were told the blinds would not be going back up. The windows with the plaster molding needed to be filled and smoothed. Some they did and some they just painted over and left the rough area where the brackets had been. They had to go back and fix this problem. We noticed when they were done that some of the rooms they had gotten paint on the edge of the ceiling; there was also some paint from prior paint jobs along the edge as well. We mentioned the problem, they decided they were going to try and fix it. Edura started and was doing an excellent job with a small brush. Next thing we knew they pulled him the next day, someone else took over the job but used a 1 1/2 - 2-inch brush and made it very visible. They went and got paint and tried to match the old ceiling paint. It was better but still very noticeable. One of the supervisors came in and told us they would have to paint the entire ceilings; another came in and said it had only been old paint on the ceiling so it wasn't their fault. There was old paint AND new paint on the ceiling, and THEY had decided to fix it. You can still see the different colors. The problems went on. We kept hearing that it was not their fault, they were just trying to make it right for us. From their perspective, it was our fault. We were the reason they had to fix the mess THEY created. Outside of the ceilings, the final project does look good, even though the ceiling is still a problem. So I rated them a 2 instead of a 1. I cannot recommend using them as 5 1/2 weeks vs 3 weeks is a lot of our time and not what we were told.

He was on-time, polite, kept to himself (and was not one of those annoying talk your ear off while you're working on other things type of person), and kept everything clean. He staggered the projects so that while one was drying, he started the other. He worked quickly but was also precise and careful. In my experience, the process required…read moresigning numerous fine-print authorizations on the salesperson's laptop that effectively gave the contractor control over insurance payments and communications with my insurance company. I was repeatedly told not to worry because they would "take care of everything" and that my only responsibility would be paying the deductible. Several months later, after the company had already collected substantially more from the insurance carrier than I believed the work justified, I received what was described as a "final invoice." The document still did not include an itemized breakdown of charges, only a total amount due, and it included charges for work that I do not believe was completed. In addition Rhoden charges a 2.9% fee for using a debit card. Since Federal law makes it illegal to charge a processing fee for debit card transactions (Durbin Amendment to the Dodd-Frank Act), Rhoden plays the word game to try to grab another dollar by calling the fee a "convenience fee". Hiring Rhoden Roofing was a decision I regret. Based on my experience, I strongly encourage homeowners dealing with storm damage or insurance claims to be extremely cautious about assigning insurance payments or claim authority to a contractor they do not know and fully trust. I also strongly recommend obtaining multiple detailed, itemized estimates from reputable roofing companies before signing any agreements or authorizations.
