So you know - this defect should have been caught when the counters were being shaped. Ultimately it was my bad for allowing them to be installed. Stop your installers and look over every square inch before you let them in the house. It's a pain in the neck because they are all strapped to dollies with padding but it really sucks to have the kitchen you've been waiting for look like you settled.

This worked but it was difficult to set what was in each basket and where items were. Phil came out and surveyed the situation and came up with an excellent solution. It was more complicated than normal because we had spice racks on the inside of the door. Phil adjusted the size of the shelves to account for that. The installation was professionally done and we now have a pantry where everything is accessible without having to move everything around. We found Wheatland Construction online and asked for an estimate for our remodel work in kitchen…read moreand master bath. The thing that impressed us most is the unapologetic website that says they pray with the homeowners upon starting work in your home. Mike, Carl and the whole sub-contractor crews that did work on our house were professional and very communicative. We started the project of taking out a weight bearing wall with updates to kitchen and master bath. We liked the idea of pay as we go contract. Wheatland was very upfront about costs and tried to communicate about cost savings. Who does that but a company that is following a Higher Power? We had some delays mainly because sub-contractors were finishing up other projects. Wheatland only uses the best sub-contractors that they have experience working with. Highly recommend this company to do any construction and remodel work. We are very please with the final work done by Wheatland Construction. Good people to work in your home.
