First off if I could I would leave no rating of a star at all. We rented tables and chairs for our wedding. They were late dropping them off and very hard to get a hold of to find out where our stuff was. After they finally show up they complain about first getting a parking place then about having to carry tables and chairs down to the setting for our wedding. It wasn't until some of the ladies helping us with the wedding started carrying the tables down the stairs did they finally start to help. read more

Tailored events is completely disorganized. We used them for my sisters wedding. They brought us a disgusting tent the first time. When they came back they brought the wrong size tent TWICE!!! They then brought the wrong sides and wrong attachments. We will have to improvise on these drapes the day before the wedding when we have a million other things to do. The two young men that came to set up were very apologetic but the issues comes back to management being completely disorganized. DO NOT USE THEM. read more

Take this with a gain of salt. This company was responsive to my calls and e-mails and did give me a 5% military discount. However when the dance floor arrived, the condition it was in was terrible. Waterlogged, discolored and parts fall off when you dance on it. (It was on decently level grass). This was the eye sore of a wedding. When I called to see if they would re-deliver their response was "You got the better of the two we have"...... as if that was suppose to make me feel better... I posted pictures of their two dance-floors. This is what $303 will get you from them. I gave them numerous chances to make it right but they declined. They do not appear to own dance floors worthy enough to rent. Their next defense was that "well we only charge 1/4 our competitors", also not true, their prices are about industry standard and quotes I received were all in the $280-$350 range for the same dance floor. My husband and I, along with our families, rented a white wedding tent with perimeter lighting, French side walls, tables, chairs, and table settings from this company for our August 2018 wedding. We also hired their sister company, King's catering for our event. First, on the day the tent was set up, we were shocked by the quality of the products that we were left with. The tent was covered in muddy handprints, streaks of mud and wet grass. There were visible holes in the ceiling amongst patches too many to count. The side walls were wet, musty and dirty with the windows being repaired with tape. The perimeter lights were missing bulbs. In some places there were spans where three light bulbs in a row were missing and wires were sticking out. The lights were overlapping for over 40 feet where there was a space left of 4-6 inches between lights in comparison to the approximate 12 inches on a normal strand and at least 4 feet where bulbs were missing. There were no extension cords provided even though I was told that there would be. When we hooked up the lights there were also many bulbs that were not working. The dance floor was sticky, dirty, worn, scratched and heavily used. The chairs were filthy; mud was caked on the legs of many of them. Many were broken or nearly broken with screws missing or not attached. The poles to the tent were worn and missing paint with dirt, rusty chain and tire marks. We don't believe we were picky customers though they made us feel that way. We could understand a few bulbs not working, even bulbs getting broken in transit, but to hang up strands of lights with completely missing bulbs and overlapping strands and leave it there like we are supposed to be okay with that is unacceptable. Setting up a tent with muddy hand prints grass and streaks of mud and not addressing it until we questioned it is unacceptable. Providing chairs that were covered in dirt and dust, that are broken and falling apart is unacceptable. All of these things together left us mortified and embarrassed at what our families and friends might think of the quality of products we "chose" for such an important day. They advertise on their website special occasion tents, which is what we paid for, and lesser value tents that they describe as being clean and gently used. The tent we received was not even what they describe for a lesser value tent where special occasion quality tents are not needed. Further, the response that we received from the owner, that these tents get dirty being taken down and put up is understandable but making us feel as though we are expecting something other than what we paid for is unacceptable. The men setting up their products didn't address the dirt or mud until we pointed it out and even then we were made to feel as though it was something expected. Further, when they came to "make it right" they spent 20 minutes wiping the roof of the tent down where they could reach and the tops of the chairs after we waited an entire day for them to come. They stated that they got "as much as they could" as though we were asking for something more than we should expect to get. Not once did we receive an apology for the quality of the products we received. You could still write "dust" in the amount of dirt and dust that was left on them after they were "cleaned". We lost a day and a half cleaning and fixing all of the products that we rented from them so that they were up to par for our guests. We lost moments in those days leading up to our wedding that we can not get back; that were supposed to be spent together with family, calmly and happily preparing for a day we had spent countless hours planning for. Instead they were spent apart scrubbing and polishing chairs, painting tent poles, and stressing over products that were supposed to be given to us in special occasion condition per our rental agreement, countless conversations and their own advertisements. We were appalled by the way we were treated by this company. They never made us feel as though they cared about any of the issues we brought up. Neither my husband or myself or our families would ever recommend them to anyone. The catering staff was polite and did what was expected but there is an obvious communication problem between the two sister companies and the owner did not care one bit about making it right with us. It has been a month since our wedding and we are still waiting to get back belongings of ours that this company accidentally took from our property on the day of our event. They don't return phone calls or emails promptly and don't seem to care once they get your payment. read more

I used tailored events for our wedding and was a horrific decision that was. From the equipment showing up late, to the staff not finishing set up until the day after agreed and then them incorrectly telling us what power usage we needed from the start, to say the least it was a disaster. After reaching out to them after the wedding to explain our issues, we were met with rudeness and disinterest from the owner...basically showing us that customer service does not exist, and they why would they need to care since they already had our money. The owner then dodged my call for a few weeks after he failed to reach out to me to reconcile (to which he had agreed upon). Overall a horrible experience from a company that apparently does not believe in customer service. read more

Will definitely recommend recommend doing business with Tailored Events. They will do as much or as little as you want them to in regards to planning your event. Their quote was very comprehensive, and included everything we needed and nothing we didn't. They arrived to set up on time as indicated and removed the tent from the property promptly. The set up crew was friendly and courteous. We had no problems to speak of, but based on my interactions with everyone at the company, it was reassuring they were only a phone call away in the event any problems arose. read more
