Rude and non-existent customer service. I was treated as though I was non-existent. Do not recommend.

We love Tail Waggers! We get our dogs' food there. They have a great selection of high quality food- dry, wet, and raw options- and treats for your pets and a lot of great toys too. I love to use their self-service bath tubs for our German Shepherds. The water is always warm. They provide a variety of shampoo and conditioner options. I like to go with de-shedding shampoo and oatmeal conditioner. You also get different types of brushes to use, a blow dryer, and towels. Today I also got one of the dog's nails trimmed and it went so smoothly. The staff is really nice and friendly every time I've been there. I've never used their grooming services myself, but I've seen some pretty pups leaving their grooming area. Lots of toys and food options. Great raw food selection. They have raw goat milk, raw tracheas filled with organs, raw chicken feet, raw duck and turkey necks... super selection. While they are expensive, the people are friendly and helpful. read more

I went in this morning to groom my pup. He's a bit older and nervous with strangers, but Clarissa was an absolute angel. She helped me get his nails done and kept him calm the entire time, giving me several tips to make my own life easier clipping his nails at home. The self-wash was super clean and stocked with everything I could've needed, and they were even sure to check for any potential allergies my dog may suffer from. I was so nervous to do this myself, but it was amazing every step of the way. Thank you Clarissa for making my experience (and Jax's) so wonderful! read more

I really thought we would love this place. TL/DR They hurt our dog and blamed us and the dog for it. The long version... Let me start by saying that this is the 6th dog I've owned in my life, and the first dog I've owned in Cheyenne. Our dog is a 6 month old Pup and has done well at the Pet-Co puppy grooming, but I always prefer supporting local businesses so I was very excited to find this location with such great reviews. The store itself is very nice, and while I've heard great things about the workers, the girl that helped us seemed inexperienced with customers, and possibly with dogs as well. We had her do a nail trimming before we did a self-serve wash. She took the dog back without asking us a single question about him other than his name, not his age, not his breed, not the last time he'd had his nails cut, not if he'd ever been to a groomer, not one question. If that ever happens to you, get your dog back and leave. When she got him into the back to trim his nails he seemed to be doing fine, until they cut one of his nails to short and cut his quick. To be clear, that happens (however it certainly happens less if you ask good questions before you set in to cutting). Especially on dogs with jet black nails. That's not what upset me. What upset me was that as soon as he started yelping she started yelling at him to stop. And not in any gentle soothing tones. She was clearly panicked, and it showed in how she yelled at him. But I waited and was patient and calm when she brought him back out. Once she got him back out he was in a total panic, which she was entirely ignoring. When she got over to where me and my kids were standing she proceeded to tell us what happened in the back, she said she cut his quick (points for her honesty) but then immediately set in to tell us why that was the dog's fault for being too skiddish, and then why it was our fault for not playing with his paws enough to keep him from being skiddish. This pup has had his nails trimmed 5 times now and this is the only groomer to have any problems doing this. Why? Because I'm a certified dog trainer and know exactly how to prepare a dog for grooming. Something we have done well with this dog. Pet Co asked us these questions, they loved on our little guy, and they got to know us well enough to know how to support us as groomers, rather than trying to blame us for any mistakes they could have made. I was just so disappointed. I may keep trying to find a good local groomer, but honestly I'm leary to even try, knowing that Pet Co will take great care of our dog, and not knowing if any of these other reviews can actually be trusted. I would not recommend this location for any grooming needs. Too bad, they could be great. read more

Very impressed at how our dog, Clyde looked when we picked him up. They listened to what we wanted done and were very good with him. All the girls were very nice and pleasant and just fell in love with Clyde. We would highly recommend this business for grooming. read more

We have always had good experiences with Tail Waggers. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the store is always clean and offers a wide selection of pet products. We have also always had great experiences with the grooming team. They do a great job with our Goldendoodle and she always comes home happy, healthy and with great quality haircuts for a reasonable price. We had a recent miscommunication regarding an appointment (clerical error on their side) and the groomer went out of her way to make it right and get us in as soon as possible for our appointment. I appreciate the entire staff at Tail Waggers and highly recommend them for all of your pet's needs. read more

Per the WY mask mandate on Dec.9, it states that all employees of businesses are to wear masks, as well as customers. Apparently it does not apply to Tail Waggers. I wanted to shop locally, support smaller businesses and not order everything online. However, this company is not following the mandate and clearly does not care about their customer's health as none of the employees wore a mask, did not maintain 6 feet when talking without their mask, and allowed customers to also not wear masks. I did not feel comfortable shopping in there. Had I known ahead of time, I would not have gone to this store. Guess I'll finish my shopping online. read more

When I called about giving my 11 year old 120 lb. Lab a bath, they were very friendly and said there was a open station. When we arrived, she went over all the particulars and types of shampoos/conditioners. After he was all clean and blow dried we walked around and he picked out his treat (which he finished before we left). I would have given 5 stars but the drop down step on the tub was broken and I had to lift his back legs up and in. Overall a great experience. read more

Thought the store looked cool, but they totally botched my dog's cut. Poor guy looks nearly bald in places and has weird strands of hair sticking out elsewhere. I feel like the groomer was angry at something and just got scissor happy with the friendliest dog ever. I love my dog and would never put him through this again. read more

Great spot for pet food, treats, and other pet supplies. Locally owned. The owners are usually on premises. They have the best selection of quality pet foods and treats that I have ever seen. They have discontinued carrying foods that have been recently been bought out by huge corporations which I think speaks greatly to their commitment to providing only the best and safest products for your dog (or cat). There are not many companies out there with the kind of integrity it takes to stop selling profitable products based on these products violating their principles. They will give their honest opinion on the products they carry and will help you find the best food for your beloved pet based on your preferences and budget. Their prices are similar to what you can find online at sites like Chewy so buy your food here and support locally owned businesses and support the local economy!
