The egg rolls we shared as an appetizer were crunchy and tasty, and most importantly not greasy; and I really liked the spring rolls and their dipping sauce, too. The pho broth was delicious and my dish came with a lot of tender steak, and although I avoid tendons and tripe, my dining companions enjoyed theirs. The jasmine iced tea was refreshing and our server was very accommodating with water service, as well. The interior of the restaurant seems to have been redone fairly recently making it a very attractive and comfortable place to dine. Our bill was about $1,600 pesos and we left her a $150 peso tip . I was mortified when she comes after us and demands $300 pesos tip because that's about the 20% she was supposed to get. I was under the impression that tips were optional and given for good service, I got ok service and I did tell her at least one of the order was wrong, she would take off for long periods of time. I just didn't think she deserved the $300 pesos and I just gave In because I didn't want to make a scene. That whole experience sucked and I was super embarrassed. The spring rolls lack a real herb punch and were a bit bland. The tuna tacos were delicious with a real flavor blast from the sauce. One must try the tuna tacos. For dinner we ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp. This was over sauce and appeared that the sauce was poured over the dish once assembled. It was definitely not a meal I would order again. The grilled shrimp with Thai spices and a small side salad was better. The vibe is very chill and a bit eclectic. The dishes were either hit or miss. I did not enjoy the chain smoker we were seated next to as that has not happened in years. A drink or appetizers here may be a good stop at I Latino. The decor and setting is enjoyable but the food falls short for me. They need to spend more time refining the dining entrees. I will not be returning but loved the builing.

There were only two other groups of customers and my mom and I waited 45 minutes for food that we never received because they never put in the order for the food in the first place. They took our drink order after 25 mins of sitting there. I'm really disappointed because I really liked their food before. I'm a pretty patient and considerate person, and figured that they were busy and didn't think anything of it at first. We realized that the actual kid (maybe 13 years old at most) that took our order didn't put the order in after my mom asked them in Spanish why it was taking almost an hour to get the food out. To make it even worse, they didn't even check in on us or really acknowledge that we were there and they knew we were there. That really bothered me. I won't be returning here ever again.
