Always a great time. The staff and center are fantastic. Security is efficient and kind when checking everyone in. There isn't a bad seat in the house. Wish they'd offer more plant based options for food.

We attended our first ice hockey game here this past weekend, Saturday night. The Tahoe Knight Monsters were an exciting team to watch! They played with a lot of heart, energy, enthusiasm, and skill. It was a thrilling victory for Tahoe. The venue is a great place to take in a game. I was able to buy second row seats for us at a reasonable price. From my assessment of the venue, looking around, there probably are not any bad seats. Attendance was announced at around 4,200 and it looked like there were a few empty seats. Staff seemed friendly and they seem to be on the right track in providing a good night out.

John Summit "Experts Only" tour - 2/22/2025

As much of a fan I am attending concerts, this was my first time ever seeing a live performance in the Lake Tahoe area. This takes me on a journey to the "Tahoe Blue Event Center" which is technically on the Nevada side in the city of Stateline. Considering this place opened in late-2023, it is still a relatively new venue that hosts a variety of events including concerts, sporting events, musicals/plays, WWE matches, and much more. I came here with a group to see John Summit, one of the worlds top EDM (electronic dance music) DJ's during the evening of Saturday 2/22/2025. He amongst several other DJ's performed from 6:30-11:30pm. Prior to coming here, the wait outside can be a huge factor for people that are sensitive to the cold. Fortunately, it was a very balmy 32°F when we arrived around 7:45pm but as many know, this area can see temperatures plummet down to single digits in the winter months. Once inside, the checkpoint area is quite chaotic as there just wasn't that many lines for people to enter the venue. However, that is about the worst of what I noticed; at least with my experience. The inside has a large ground-level floor as well as seating that wraps around the majority of the center. Capacity maxes out at around 5,000 guests but this can definitely vary depending on what type of event you're attending. I did like how there was an abundance of mens/womens restrooms, areas to purchase food/drinks/beer/spirits, and even pop-up areas where you can purchase merchandise. Getting around as well as finding out what section you're looking for is relatively easy, primarily due to the smaller size than many arenas/centers. As for the lighting, visuals, and sound, at least when I saw John Summit; this place gets a 10/10. However, much of that has to do with the people he has the work behind-the-scenes. I am a visual/audio snob and I was absolutely impressed with how fluid and clear the entire performance went from start to finish. From other reviews that I read regarding security being pushy and patrons being forced not to use the restrooms, that is a real bummer as myself and my friends did not experience any of this. Overall, the "Tahoe Blue Event Center" is an above average place that I recommend. My rating, four stars.

I've only attended hockey games at Tahoe Blue, but I have been very impressed by the hospitality and quality of the venue. What a blast it is to have a local hockey team! It's so fun to visit Tahoe Blue and cheer on the Knight Monsters. Tahoe Blue is a beautiful arena. While small, it allows for great views from everywhere. There isn't a bad seat in the place! They put on great hockey games and the guest services team is great. The food and drink options are pricey, but that's expected for a sports and events venue like this. Many of the food and drink options are quite tasty though. I'm hooked on the Knight Monsters and grateful to have a beautiful arena for them to play in!

Even the cheap seats were great!!

We came up Super Bowl weekend to enjoy the festivities and decided to go to a hockey game Saturday night and we had a great time. We sat in section 107 and they were the cheap seats but because it's a smallish venue there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Game was great 4-3 win in overtime, they put on a good show for the fans, overall a really good experience. One of the highlights for me was a good ol fashioned hockey fight, awesome !!! Food and beverage is about what you'd expect , 10$ beers etc. I didn't partake because 10$ beers don't taste good to me.I prefer to catch a buzz before the game and save my money. Anyway, if you are thinking of checking out a hockey game, do it!! It's a lot of fun for about 35$ a ticket.

Well...I have fallen in love with the Tahoe Knight Monsters and the friendly staff (frequently folks we know), but they need to improve on a few things. First, the price of parking is too high at $25 with no validation or discount for attending an event Second, the parking garage is filled with trash AND mice, and finally, the landing and main exit that leads from the garage to the event centered was treaturous with not a sign of salt or de-icer. I made sure to tell the person at the ticket counter and he said he would call and get someome to take care of it...but when we returned it was icier and no evidence of any efforts to remedy the accident waiting to happen. I am hopeful things will improve.

Whoever picked these signs, their height and placement is a moron.
Shaun M.

Honestly f**k this place. The stupid signs they rolled in almost completely blocked my view of the stage. I would never my tickets here again. They could lower the signs by like a foot and a half or two and it wouldn't be an issue. Or roll them out at some point.

Saw the Tahoe Knight Monsters Hockey game which was a blast. Good food options. Got to try the Topo Chico hard seltzer as that was the only kind they had. I can see how people may not like the venue as it could be an interesting set up for concerts, etc. This events center is in walking distance to the casinos which is nice.

Who cleaned it?
Anthony M.

This venue oversold tickets while being aware of a max capacity. People were denied entry who had tickets. People that needed to use the restroom were not allowed re-entry. While trying not to exceed the max capacity for safety reasons, they've failed to see how the health of many individuals may be affected by not being able to use the restrooms. Whoever was in charge of ticket sales needs to be held accountable as well as whoever was coordinating the event. If you see an event hosted here, don't go unless you'd like to be disappointed and probably develop a UTI or some kidney problems.

Went to my first Knight Monsters game tonight. Nice venue. I literally (and I mean literally) was in the worst seat in the house, but there really can't be a bad seat in the house. Really cool merchandise. They did a great job with merchandise. They could do a better job of crowd control. Merch booth is right across from the popular food spot, both at the entrance. On the other side of the arena (shaped like a horseshoe) there is nobody in a wide concourse. They just need to work on spacing people out more. Golden Nugget across the way did a terrible job of managing traffic with their credit card gates. Just take cash. Or make it free like it used to be! The game was fun, I'll definitely be back for more!

Beautiful place but they said dance floor was full capacity when it was halfway full. Crowd was booing. Kinda ruined John Summits show.

We went on the 2PM cruise today and had fantastic weather for a lake cruise. They advised us to start lining up around 1:30p, started boarding around 1:45p and were promptly cruising following key safety messages. Key things to note below: -There is available seating toward the front outside, if you appreciate some sun and a cool breeze these may be the seats for you! -Guests moved in and out throughout the cruise, we opted to stay in for most of it but had no issues moving around outside to take photos comfortably. -Snacks and drinks are available for purchase onboard. -They had comfy blankets available inside to take outside to keep warm (very nice touch and they appeared to be very clean) -They did a great job slowing down in Emerald Bay and highlighting wildlife nearby for viewing and photography. -Don't forget to bring cash to tip the well-deserving crew! -We had a cool mix of tourists and locals to chat with on the cruise. -There are padded bench style seats indoor and plastic chairs as well. The upper deck also had seating (no shade up top aside from some in the front) -There are restrooms on board, I didn't use them but they were available. Highly recommend for a relaxing and informative cruise around South Lake Tahoe & Emerald Bay. Will definitely cruise again on our next visit to South Lake Tahoe. Star employee - The gal in the ticket office helped us as our tickets printed oddly. She confirmed we were on the list and would be able to board without it. She was so friendly & set a cheerful tone for the day. :) Note, I typically never write reviews this quickly but they did an amazing job and we had a few minutes to spare before dinner nearby. :) Happy Sailing!

We feel in love with the view from the terrace which is where we had our ceremony and reception. We were impressed by the front reception staff immediately and booked our wedding about one year in advance. We met with Chelsea our on site Event Sales Manager, and things started off good. But we shortly there after felt like we were a nuisance by asking just a few questions, and we are low maintenance. You should plan on guests staying in other hotels as the wedding party booking process is a PIA, or perhaps this was just the case with our Event Manager, any questions took weeks or more to get a response. On top of that we reviewed pricing one year in advance at what we assumed was our guests budget, but we did not realize that the cost of a room about doubles with all their hidden fees. When we asked for a few minutes to meet and review some details of the site to figure out how and where we had access, and tried to coordinate it with a Sunday Wedding Open House, we were told that was her day off. I asked if she was going to the Open House which she said she was, everything made us feel unappreciated. We literally had 10 minutes of Q&A, which mostly revolved around where things were, what we had access to, so we could start planning decor, and things of that nature. We requested a 30 day prior meeting on site, with our wedding coordinator and Event Sales manager, as we want to review all last details and do a food sampling. Chelsea failed to respondto us or to our Coordinator, nor did she show up. Our coordinator had to call her manager to see what was going on, finally got her cell phone, she said she was working from home that day. We literally had no phone calls from our Event Sales Manager for the final 3 months. Once they have your money and commitment they no longer appreciate you or want to put any energy into you. Our Event Sales Coordinator ended up going to her high school reunion the weekend of our wedding, which would be fine if she informed us and told us an alternate contact should any issues arise, but it was a no call no show. Luckily our wedding coordinator was amazing, and had done many weddings at this site. They did REQUIRE a tip in advance of 20%. I asked than about if a tip jar would be placed at the bar and was told no that it would not. When we and the wedding party got down to the reception well after everyone else already there we found that there was a tip jar where they were asking all guest for more tips!! With no point of contact on site, we did nothing during the wedding as we wanted to focus on our day and deal with issues afterwards. After the wedding we spoke with her manager Keeley, told her of the main shortcomings during the process, in which she admitted things did not go as they should. When I asked for a few hundred dollars back for the double tipping I was told no way. She spoke with corporate and GM and they did not care, once they have you money. All the other people onsite were great. But if you go here, do not pay final amount until after the wedding. Challenge the up front tips, and be prepared that after you give them money they no longer care about making your day special. The Landing refused to respond to a complaint from the Better Business Bureau.

I don't love that the only parking option is valet at 40 a day. I do love that they decorate in all teal becuase I find that color very tranquil and it's my favorite color. :) We had a king suite and it was modern and roomy and no complaints there whatsoever! Loved the true blackout curtains of course. We ate at the one place on site that was open til 11. It was mediocre. We did the breakfast buffet one morning. It was ok as well. Nothing stood out food wise on site. I'd say decor and hotel only (not considering food) was 4/4, although I'm not sure how much my room would have been without points, so not taking that into account.

When I arrived, the front desk staff were great. The manager and Alexis were very friendly and provided me with everything I would need. I thought the room was nice. All the rooms are suites, with a separate living room, dining area, sofa bed, and then the bedroom. Bathroom is shower only but clean and functional. The gym is small but got the job done. The pools were not clean and had an overwhelming chlorine odor. I guess maybe that helps kill all the bacteria. But why the two stars you may ask. It's because they have a terrible valet company working here. This is a valet parking only resort for $40 a night. I thought it was unnerving when I first arrived and saw how the young valet drivers were treating the customers cars. They acted like it was NASCAR racing. (If you do not believe me, stand by the entrance of the parking lot which is left of the front entrance and watch how they drive the vehicles) But I dismissed my worrying thoughts and left the car with AAA Parking valet. I didn't take the car out for the two nights I stayed there. Upon check out and summoning my car from valet, the fender and front bumper were damaged. They know what they did because I saw the guilt on their faces. Filled out a claim. I asked to see the footage on arrival and they said that it was security's "day off". Huh?! Security completely takes days off at a giant resort hotel?! That was a cop out. AAA Parking Management that Margaritaville employs to valet their customers cars need to be investigated. I will file a complaint with the better business bureau and a civil suit against Margaritaville if action isn't taken in a timely manner. Needless to say I would never stay here again due to the valet only parking. With young men who do not respect people's property.

And the cabin feels like a serene home with all the right touches. We couldn't wait to go back. This year we stayed in the King Suite because the cabins were booked. It was still lovely and cozy but more modern feeling than the cabins. It's more of a hotel feel; wood floors would probably help rather than the carpet. It's different than the Hideout Cabin which is probably my favorite place to stay- not just in Tahoe. The hot tub is great but don't expect powerful jets and unfortunately the jets in the suite tub didn't work. That and the lighting in the suite are my only critiques (it's a bit harsh and the bathroom switches are confusing) Still, we are as happy as can be here. The added diffuser bar was a nice touch and surprise because there was a diffuser in the cabin last time we stayed but it's nice you can pick your favorite scent now. The staff here is also fantastic. Very kind and helpful. I wanted to bring our whole family here for Christmas after our first visit but they opted for a large cabin together.
