We were at Tahoe Blue Event Center for. James Taylor concert. The acoustics were way better than we had hoped for! We were seated on the floor. The seating configuration was a little chaotic to figure out and some of the staff were confused as to the sections. The lines for beverages were very long-the staff was unable to give you a can of water-had to pour in a cup and that took time. read more

We attended our first ice hockey game here this past weekend, Saturday night. The Tahoe Knight Monsters were an exciting team to watch! They played with a lot of heart, energy, enthusiasm, and skill. It was a thrilling victory for Tahoe. The venue is a great place to take in a game. I was able to buy second row seats for us at a reasonable price. From my assessment of the venue, looking around, there probably are not any bad seats. Attendance was announced at around 4,200 and it looked like there were a few empty seats. Staff seemed friendly and they seem to be on the right track in providing a good night out. read more

As much of a fan I am attending concerts, this was my first time ever seeing a live performance in the Lake Tahoe area. This takes me on a journey to the "Tahoe Blue Event Center" which is technically on the Nevada side in the city of Stateline. Considering this place opened in late-2023, it is still a relatively new venue that hosts a variety of events including concerts, sporting events, musicals/plays, WWE matches, and much more. I came here with a group to see John Summit, one of the worlds top EDM (electronic dance music) DJ's during the evening of Saturday 2/22/2025. He amongst several other DJ's performed from 6:30-11:30pm. Prior to coming here, the wait outside can be a huge factor for people that are sensitive to the cold. Fortunately, it was a very balmy 32°F when we arrived around 7:45pm but as many know, this area can see temperatures plummet down to single digits in the winter months. Once inside, the checkpoint area is quite chaotic as there just wasn't that many lines for people to enter the venue. However, that is about the worst of what I noticed; at least with my experience. The inside has a large ground-level floor as well as seating that wraps around the majority of the center. Capacity maxes out at around 5,000 guests but this can definitely vary depending on what type of event you're attending. I did like how there was an abundance of mens/womens restrooms, areas to purchase food/drinks/beer/spirits, and even pop-up areas where you can purchase merchandise. Getting around as well as finding out what section you're looking for is relatively easy, primarily due to the smaller size than many arenas/centers. As for the lighting, visuals, and sound, at least when I saw John Summit; this place gets a 10/10. However, much of that has to do with the people he has the work behind-the-scenes. I am a visual/audio snob and I was absolutely impressed with how fluid and clear the entire performance went from start to finish. From other reviews that I read regarding security being pushy and patrons being forced not to use the restrooms, that is a real bummer as myself and my friends did not experience any of this. Overall, the "Tahoe Blue Event Center" is an above average place that I recommend. My rating, four stars. read more

I've only attended hockey games at Tahoe Blue, but I have been very impressed by the hospitality and quality of the venue. What a blast it is to have a local hockey team! It's so fun to visit Tahoe Blue and cheer on the Knight Monsters. Tahoe Blue is a beautiful arena. While small, it allows for great views from everywhere. There isn't a bad seat in the place! They put on great hockey games and the guest services team is great. The food and drink options are pricey, but that's expected for a sports and events venue like this. Many of the food and drink options are quite tasty though. I'm hooked on the Knight Monsters and grateful to have a beautiful arena for them to play in! read more

We came up Super Bowl weekend to enjoy the festivities and decided to go to a hockey game Saturday night and we had a great time. We sat in section 107 and they were the cheap seats but because it's a smallish venue there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Game was great 4-3 win in overtime, they put on a good show for the fans, overall a really good experience. One of the highlights for me was a good ol fashioned hockey fight, awesome !!! Food and beverage is about what you'd expect , 10$ beers etc. I didn't partake because 10$ beers don't taste good to me.I prefer to catch a buzz before the game and save my money. Anyway, if you are thinking of checking out a hockey game, do it!! It's a lot of fun for about 35$ a ticket. read more

Well...I have fallen in love with the Tahoe Knight Monsters and the friendly staff (frequently folks we know), but they need to improve on a few things. First, the price of parking is too high at $25 with no validation or discount for attending an event Second, the parking garage is filled with trash AND mice, and finally, the landing and main exit that leads from the garage to the event centered was treaturous with not a sign of salt or de-icer. I made sure to tell the person at the ticket counter and he said he would call and get someome to take care of it...but when we returned it was icier and no evidence of any efforts to remedy the accident waiting to happen. I am hopeful things will improve. read more

I finally experienced my first Knight Monsters hockey game on the second home game of the season. All I have to say is that it was a fantastic experience and glad I did it. From Reno, it's an easy drive over the hill, not to mention the scenery itself is always a pleasure to see! There is no parking at the center, but there are several casinos to choose from, and we simply chose Bally's right next door. Yes, it's pricy, but then again, you're in Tahoe. There are several places to eat in the area that are within walking distance, which we did partake in. The arena itself is new, clean and there isn't a bad seat at all. It was easy to navigate, great lighting and sound with plenty of food choices and drinks. Restrooms were nice and clean as well. The hockey was truly great with high skill level and really a fun event to watch. I will definitely be back for more! Go Knight Monsters! read more

Saw the Tahoe Knight Monsters Hockey game which was a blast. Good food options. Got to try the Topo Chico hard seltzer as that was the only kind they had. I can see how people may not like the venue as it could be an interesting set up for concerts, etc. This events center is in walking distance to the casinos which is nice. read more

This venue oversold tickets while being aware of a max capacity. People were denied entry who had tickets. People that needed to use the restroom were not allowed re-entry. While trying not to exceed the max capacity for safety reasons, they've failed to see how the health of many individuals may be affected by not being able to use the restrooms. Whoever was in charge of ticket sales needs to be held accountable as well as whoever was coordinating the event. If you see an event hosted here, don't go unless you'd like to be disappointed and probably develop a UTI or some kidney problems. read more

The bartenders were friendly and the event center did its job just fine. It was warm in there, I even had to take my jacket off. Security was polite UNLESS you tried to go over the barrier, in which case they escorted you to who knows where. read more

Went to my first Knight Monsters game tonight. Nice venue. I literally (and I mean literally) was in the worst seat in the house, but there really can't be a bad seat in the house. Really cool merchandise. They did a great job with merchandise. They could do a better job of crowd control. Merch booth is right across from the popular food spot, both at the entrance. On the other side of the arena (shaped like a horseshoe) there is nobody in a wide concourse. They just need to work on spacing people out more. Golden Nugget across the way did a terrible job of managing traffic with their credit card gates. Just take cash. Or make it free like it used to be! My husband and I saw the Turnpike Troubadours. My husband and I, plus two other couples had tickets for 113 row P , problem is there is no row "P" it only goes to "O" we walked back and forth looking for an usher or guest services to help us with this situation. My husband recently had knee surgery, so this was a struggle! we ended up just sitting in an empty spot and hoped no one would need to sit in our seats that didn't exist. CONCERT REVIEW TAHOE BLUE VENUE - great venue for a concert. Sound system is awesome. Venue is small enough that every seat has a great view. Staff is nice. Go early. It's a bit chaotic and disorganized getting through security. No signs or staff outside to tell you what lines are for suites or general admission, etc. good news is getting in early is that there's ample "sports arena" food and drinks and lines were fairly short throughout. Floor seats: FL2 - Row Q - 17 & 18. Great seats but I may have opted for a slightly elevated seat on the side. Still great views but you can still see the stage while everyone is standing. Great thing about 17 & 18 is that it's on the aisle so we had lots of room to move around. BRYAN ADAM's - SO HAPY IT HURTS TOUR: 5 Stars. Bryan Adam's fans...do not miss this concert. Adam's sounds as fresh as he did 30 years ago. The production value of this show is top notch with lights, fog, drones, etc. super talented band to back him up. It's awesome that they took requests at the end of a 2 hour concert of any song from his 16 top hit albums. Lots of audience interaction. read more

I actually really loved this new event center! It has an amphitheater style set up which I thought was really great, and the sound was fantastic. If you have earplugs you'll definitely want them, the bass was great. I saw lane 8 here and had a 5/5 experience. I also really appreciated that the drinks were very reasonably priced for an event center. I got a 10 torr lavender lemonade and it was $12 - I can totally get down with that. The only con - getting to the floor was only from one entrance which they set up a gate to slowly filter people in but that system seemed a little funny? I have high hopes for the future of this venue but currently it's very poorly managed. We attended the first ever Lake Tahoe ComicCon and were impressed overall with the set up. However, the event AND venue need to iron out more than a couple things. Pros Beautiful and still pretty and new Polite ticket staff Nice lay out Good bathrooms Interesting and unique food options Affordable tickets for the event we attended Cons No Signage to the entrance or box office from parking ****EXTREMELY expensive parking with really no other options (especially if you use disabled parking like I do) I have attended events all over including LA, SF, and more and have NEVER seen such ridiculously high priced parking. The parking fees alone made me spend less money and time at the event because I had to pay $25 for two hours!!! It would have been even more if we stayed longer.**** Signage and directions inside were poor Staff didn't have answers to questions No maps for the event (like where booths were, layout, etc) Limited staff at concessions (and there for long wait times) I do hope they figure these issues out because this could be wonderful. we were at a pee wee hockey tournament at 5:15 am for a hockey game, they concessions stand wasn't open, so I went to get coffee across the way at a Starbucks, I got back, and the security tells us we can't bring coffee in anymore, because they made it at their now open concession stand, they confiscated our coffee, after we got settled in our seats, one mom from the team says they are allowing coffee from outside again, what the heck?! That's 30 bucks worth of coffee down the drain, so if you have a tournament here, DO NOT purchase anything from their concession stand, it's 12 bucks for a small coffee, Starbucks is cheaper. So moral of the story, you are allowed to have outside coffee, so if the security team tells you that you can't, they are wrong, ask for a supervisor, back to the garbage prices, their food tastes like someone threw it in rotten eggs then put it in dog poop, do not order from the snack bar, but hey, at least the seating is good, NOT! The "cushions" on the seat feel like you are sitting on a rock, uncomfortable. Would have been 4 stars if the entrance was better organized. There were two doors open and two lines, however one of the lines was short and the other was very long, when I inquired if the short line was in fact an entrance and told yes I stood in it only to be yelled at and verbally insulted by two young ladies I'll call them nicely. It was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen or heard. They tried to pretend they, as patrons, were in charge saying there is only one line that then "splits". Uhm splits where? No it is because everyone played follow the leader into one line instead of moving over into the other line like normal. have you ever been to Disneyland? A grocery store? You form different lines. Unless you're at Kohls which is one line until they call you up. Eye roll! My favorite line was when they said "what are you like 40" trying to insult me (over a line?!?) but jokes on them cause that's a compliment since actually I'm older! So it would be nice if they would have better organization of that so people don't feel the need to start yelling at others in line, after I let them go in front of me since they had such an issue with me going into the shorter available line. Like this isn't southwest ma'ams we all have seats here. You need to calm down. Check out the venue's own post of different lines available at different entrances smh. So after that fiasco, we were excited to see Bryan Adams. The venue itself is beautiful, obviously brand new. Sound was fantastic however as others have complained the seats were just too small. My 6'3" husband was uncomfy but dealt with it. If the cup holder arm sides went up he could have adjusted his legs better but oh well. It's a small venue and I thought my seat in section 113 was fantastic! I took a pic from the back of the Venue and they weren't bad at all. Unfortunately Bryan Adams wasn't even sold out and I'm wondering if the venue reviews have anything to do with it cause it deterred me at first. The Tahoe Blue Event Center is absolutely gorgeous, both inside and out. We went to a concert here last night and it was Amazing! The venue looked large but felt small and intimate, there was not a bad seat in the house, and the sound and acoustics were perfect. Concessions and door security were completely smooth operations and we were beyond impressed with the facility as well as the concert. We'll definitely be back. read more

Saw John Summit and while the set was amazing, the venue and staff were very disappointing. We arrived a hour after the show to miss most of the opener and see the main stage and were denied entry to the main floor even though we had GA tickets. The security was super rude and aggressive as well. If you buy a ticket to an event here, make sure to arrive early because they will deny you entry. Some of my friends were denied entry from the whole venue even though they had tickets. We were lucky to be allowed to go on the second floor, but others weren't. People were peeing in the bleachers because they were denied being able to leave the ground floor. It was pretty gross to smell/see and genuinely shocking that the security guards wouldn't let people leave to use the bathroom. read more

We came to the venue for the first time to see Adam Sandler, and for a brand new building in LAKE TAHOE, this venue was quite disappointing. Let me start with the good...the sounds quality is great and it's small enough to not have nosebleed seats. The line to get in went pretty fast and the venue staff was polite and helpful. The exterior structure is nice and matches the mountain scenery. As for the things that can be improved on and unfortunately the things that can't. While entering I immediately noticed the underwhelming interior space and decor. So bland and blah. This venue is located in one of the most beautiful mountain towns and the interior makes you feel like you're in a kinda-new kinda-not, venue some where in Iowa. The food options were decent and the drink/food prices were on point with other event venues and stadiums. The seating...one could definitely get a bad seat here. We sat in section 110, Row M, seats 22 and 24, and we could tell that the seats right below us almost had a blocked view due to the railing. The attendees in front of us were sitting up and diagnal the whole time, and they did not look comfortable. I need to remember so that I never purchase seats in this similar location and viewpoint. Our seats were ok. The railing was just barely below my line of sight. The rows are very narrow and long, so needless to say, we had to stand up a lot to let people walk through. Parking was pretty steep, $35, and it took a long time to enter the parking lot. At the end of the day I'll return because when I want to see a performer here I don't have much of a choice. I will just be very cautious of my seat selection. read more

There are a lot of concession stands, as the venue is often used for hockey games, but the prices high. We were late for the Mannheim Steamroller concert due to traffic gridlock entering the parking lot. The traffic getting out was even worse. If you're going to charge $20+ for parking, then hire staff to direct traffic, stripe the lot in a logical manner, and use a QR code system that works properly. We had balcony seating, which consisted of some sort of moveable risers. There were places where the step down was a hazard, like 18"! The seats were so low we had to fall into them, and our knees touched the seats in front of us. No ushers were noted. The venue website has a clear bag policy deep in its links, so I didn't notice it until the day of our concert. I spent time shopping for a bag, only to find many women admitted with regular purses. That would seem to be the better choice, as some people dress up for a concert. The venue staff we did interact with were very friendly. The ticket scanner had a hard time scanning our cellphone ticket as her scanner wasn't working properly. I don't think we would book another event at this venue. read more

The downside is bc it's so new they haven't worked out all the kinks.. last night the Adam Sandler show started 45 mins late bc they could not effectively make two clear lines and get ppl in the door and their tickets scanned. Bummer for everyone that was early. Doors opened at 6:30pm. Show was supposed to start at 8pm. Almost 9 when it finally began:( Also the stadium seats are the smallest, closest shoved together seats I have ever seen before. There is literally zero room if you need to get passed anyone already sitting. Even with everyone standing to let others get to their middle aisle seats this was a huge fail. I'm not a big person. They could have left even a foot of space for ppl to walk?? They put the drink holders on the back of the seats directly in front of you instead of in the arm rest? So ppl walking by in the already no available space is kicking and running into your drinks. Just a poor poor design.. The sound is nice inside and the venue isn't too big so wherever you sit you still get a good view of the show. read more

Alright. So the positives. The venue is nice and it's a new building. There are plenty of beer/seltzer/wine/booze options. There's popcorn, hotdogs, burgers, nachos etc. and all snacks we saw looked decent enough. The employees are very eager and friendly. Please note that they only allow small handbags (4x6 inches or so). Read up on the rules before attending an event. The negatives are that Tahoe Blue throws their security into situations that they are not equipped to handle. It's not that they don't try, they do. But things would have gotten messy the night we attended the Adam Sandler performance if the Sheriff hadn't been on the premises and able to step in when necessary. We sat in section 113, right by the section on the side of the stage that security and Sheriffs had to clear out. Anyone paying attention could see that Sandler was aware of a disruption once he got onstage, which was led by this loud mouthed prick who'd started in by trying to engage the opening performers. Sandler carried on but was distracted early in his set, as well as by the commotion as security attempted to clear the entire section. Why it wasn't roped off in the first place is beyond my understanding. I believe if the jerk had been thrown out at the first sign of trouble there wouldn't have been an issue. Hopefully they work out the kinks so this venue is successful. read more

Small, cramped narrow seating without any legroom. Economy class seats on the cheapest discount airline give far more comfort, and they bring food and snacks to you! If you are unfortunate enough to be seated in the middle of a section, be prepared to stumble over your fellow patrons, while unavoidably kicking their cup holders stupidly placed at floor level where your feet should go. Hell, my wife is 5'4" tall and has to squeeze in. Don't bother to go if you are average height, need to use a restroom, or don't mind paying $12.00 for a $2.00 Jimmy dean sausage patty. Perhaps it's better than nothing, which is what South Lake Tahoe had before this was recently built, but even then, brand spanking new and all, this place is at the bottom of the list for a center with Permanent seating. If they had made the building only 12 feet wider, they could have added a respectable four extra inches of leg room per seating row. The only reason you get two stars is the seat cushions have not worn out yet. read more

Went to the Bryan Adam's concert last night. Dave Stewart was the opening act. The show started only 5 minutes late, both performers were great. Too bad the venue does not have their act together. First off, parking is expensive and requires a long walk depending on which casino has available parking. More on this later. It was very cold with intermittent rain. There is zero shelter while waiting in the long line to enter. There is no organization of the line or staff outside. For whatever reason there was only one entrance open. Everyone had to go through the metal detectors and then get wanded, even if they didn't set off the detectors! The venue is small, so views are good from most seats. We heard the floor seats were uncomfortable, so bought stadium seats. We lucked out and had aisle seats with no seats in front of us. The seats are small, and I could feel the person behind mes knees near my shoulders. People getting up and down to get drinks was difficult. It was like being on Spirt airlines! We didn't buy food. Drink lines were okay when we got there, but were too long later, so we didn't even try again. Bathrooms were too small, and lines were very long for women. Our biggest complaint was exiting the venue. Look at the photo and you can see a long walkway to Bally's Casino. The venue is on a small hill which is fine dry weather, but we get snow at least 6 months of the year. We got outside with the first group of people, so only a few people had headed down the walkway. At first the concrete was wet, then the people started sliding as it had totally iced up. It was an older crowd, sliding down this sloped walkway. We were lucky to be able to get off the side to the grass. If anyone would have fallen they would have taken everyone with them. At the end of the walkway there is no sidewalk for pedestrians, so you have to walk through the unlit front driveway of the casino. Totally unsafe with cars coming in and out around corners. From reading other posts. I doubt they will make improvements. So if you go, try to park a Bally's and enter the venue from above the front entrance. read more

Opening night and total cluster fuck. The line wrapped around the building, and people were cutting in all over the place. There was not ONE security officer to be seen. When we finally got inside, the security scanners were half ass and they only had 2 or 3 people scanning tickets, and those kept malfunctioning. We paid for great floor seats, but other people had the same seats. The rows were CHALKED out on the floor, which disappeared once people started walking on it and spilling beer. The beer line didn't move, and they ran out of the signature cocktails before the concert even started. Parking? What a rip. We gambled at Ballys and had dinner but my husband, our driver, left the parking garage before the concert ever started yet they gouged him for $45 event parking instead of validating for spending x dollars per Ballys policy. Thank God the overall crowd was friendly and spirited because it was a recipe for disaster. Why the Center didn't realize Pitbull would be such a huge draw is beyond me. Heck, there weren't even signs saying who was performing, let alone any directions. I hope the event planners get their act together because it's a beautiful center and such a boost for the area, but they're gonna have to learn from this disaster or the next time could get ugly. read more

I was here for a training and it was a beautiful venue. I returned for a concert and it was a chaotic mess. Doors opened at 7. We saw from our hotel that there was a line outside. It was cold so we waited to go out until 7:30. The line snaked through the parking lot. Twice, after being in line almost 45 minutes, the venue opened other doors and people walking up late were able to run to the new line. It took almost an hour to get in and the show had started so it was dark. There were no ushers to help you find your seat. People were ending up in the wrong seats because you couldn't tell where you were supposed to be. Ushers showed up later to make sure no one was recording the show. But they were nowhere to be found when people were trying to find their seats in the dark. I can't imagine a Planning Commission approving a venue with no plan for queuing thousands of people outside. I also can't imagine how awful that would have been in the snow. The line was long enough to block the Bally parking garage, which was fun any time a car needed to get by. Seemed dangerous and completely unnecessary. Get more staff. Go to Disneyland and learn how to queue a line. read more
