They are transparent and explain what's going to happen, how long the wait might be, etc. They were detailed in explaining insurance benefits and out of pockets expenses. The doctors are very friendly and they pay attention to your concerns. They assessed my husband thoroughly and even if the physical exam triggered his pain, the treatment they provided him was enough to address it completely. Just updating my review. I've been very limited in my outings during the pandemic. But really screwed up my neck and needed get it fixed today. John Tagliarini, D.C. took care of me after having taken an X-Ray. He was very knowledgeable in his field and gave me suggestions on how to treat my back to improve it further. I just moved to CT from New Jersey and i didn't know anybody in this area . I went to Tagliarini because of the great reviews the had online . I was in pain for several days couldn't sleep well . I called them to make a appointment and the team at the front desk was extremely professional and helpful. DR Jessica is amazing . she explained everything to me . It was my first time at the chiropractor . I had Dr John last week and He is awesome as well . I had X-Rays done in my shoulder and neck and I did find out I have 2 degenerative disks in my neck . Super friendly and comforting environment. I have been getting adjusted for a little over a month now due to very painful hip pain and wasn't able to run or lift weights for months. Within 3 weeks of treatment I was running again!! They also have X-Ray in office, which is amazing and showed how crooked my pelvis was. I had a few appointments two years ago and switched chiropractors. I went in with excruciating pain and my first appointment was just xrays. I left this appointment still in pain. I ended up getting a sports medicine massage elsewhere and the pain was relieved. I decided to remain and have another appointment however. At my second appointment I was given my care plan and told I would need to Prepay for all appointments. My insurance company would Not permit that thank goodness. The office staff is wonderful and polite but the overall operation felt like a money grab and they did nothing to relieve my back pain. read more

I'm more of the person who looks up reviews than actually writes them. This is one of a handful of places I discovered solely based on (amazing!) reviews that has prompted me to start writing them. I was in a car accident & was suffering back pain as a result. I'm not the type to take medication, and when I visited a doctor the day after the accident that's all they did - no xrays, no imaging at all. They just handed me a couple of prescriptions and sent me on my way. In a couple of weeks, I was still in pain & it was starting to affect my sleep. I decided to see if a chiropractor could help. I had never been before and didn't know what to expect. The staff was very welcoming & xrays were done by Dr. John on my first visit. When I went back the next day, the effect the accident had on my spine was noticeable in the images. I liked that I was able to see that there was something wrong with me & that his adjustments were going to focus on those problem areas. I've been going there for almost a month now, and while I'm still in pain I'm sleeping better and have noticed an improvement. The staff is so nice & always welcoming & Dr. John is great. Drs. Jessica and John are an amazing team who work thoroughly with you each week to bring you back to your baseline. The staff are a staple example of what professionalism and compassionate care should be as well. Early August, I woke up with a pinched nerve on my left shoulder/neck and was in major pain. My pain was unbearable at times, but in conjunction with chiropractic treatment and medication, I was to able to function at work during the first month. As the weeks continued, I slowly weaned off the medication and only used chiropractic care for pain treatment. By late Sept/early Oct. I was able to play sports again back to full mode. My golf game was completely back and I was able to play hockey full time again. I'm happy to say that in 3 months, my pinched nerve was a thing in the past for now and I still continue preventive adjustments as recommended. Working with a tremendous team like Drs. I've been going to Dr. John for almost a month. I was involved in a head-on accident in 2011. I had PT for 3 months and it was better, but not ok. I've since, had bad posture! AMy friend went to see him and I drove, as she couldn't. He took X-ray's and asked her to come back in an hour as she is a PA @ NBGH., and was working 27 hrs. We had lunch, came back and he showed her the x-rays. He did some manipulation and we left. As we were walking to my car she said, I feel so much better. That did it for me. About a year ago I threw my back out and there have been repeated bouts of pain since then that my doctor prescribed Prednisone and high-mg Ibuprofen as treatment. In mid-October I woke up with a stiff neck and excruciating headaches that wouldn't go away. Back to the doctor I went. Prescription for Prednisone and 800 MG of Ibuprofen. I decided to try something different and went to Tagliarini Chiropractic. Let's start with their front office staff - Terri and Tanya are EXCEPTIONAL (I've NEVER been greeted and treated with such genuine warmth and high energy like this). My first visit with Dr. John included a full review of my questionnaire and xrays. Guess what - I have a bone spur in my neck and it's affecting everything. FINALLY some answers, and from inside my body!! We started on 3x a week Chiropractic care with either Dr. John or Dr. Jessica (adjustments, 4-10 minutes of traction each time, and strength/resistance exercises for hw). It's been two weeks and I feel like a new person. Headaches gone!!!! I was taking the 800 MG Ibuprofen before bed every night for a month because I thought my head was going to explode. Haven't needed to after one and a half weeks of care at Tagliarini!
