The bartender wasn't particularly welcoming, when I asked if I could sit at the bar, he pushed the reservation sign at the seat I was pointing at towards me from what I remember... point taken that yes there was a reservation sign but I just wanted to check since I wasn't sure... perhaps I was perceived as rude since I asked in English, or coz I wasn't local and didn't know, or may be that's in keeping with the vibe of the bar, no idea. Obviously can't comment on the drinks, but yep, there was no effort made to accommodate me, though I also didn't ask. Oh well, too bad.

For all their lack of fashion sense, they remain unpretentious and quite frankly I prefer their company to that of hipsters. Maybe that's why my friends dubbed me "Skid Magnet" in high school. Despite what you might think, I don't think this bar even hosts metal bands. It's really just a quiet (really!) pub with long haired headbangers on all the TVs. Beers on tap? Don't remember. Jagermeister? Of course, but not since 2nd year Uni for me.This place is a classic case of the people you're with making your good time what it is. The bar itself isn't really much to write home about, but it is a niche market that might deserve a pop in to see who's there.

The music is cool & chilled out (they were playing Four Tet when we walked in). The back room has pinball, table football, and a pool table. Big comfy couches & arm chairs. Low lighting. Bit dingy.
