Well, after giving these guys a (preliminary) 5-star review, I'm gonna have to do a 180 and downgrade considerably.... So, I brought my original TAG watch in essentially for a new battery, to see if they could fix the clasp on the wristband, maybe polish it up a bit, and find out how much all of this was going to cost me. That's it. That's all I asked for. When the customer service clerk said she thought the battery alone would be 135-buckaroos, I was a bit afraid to hear what the clasp and cleaning would be. Nonetheless, I handed over the watch, which was then sent to their store in Sydney. Well, 9 days later I get an email from the Sydney store: After looking over my watch, the price to do repairs -- including repairs which I didn't even ask for! -- was in the $950 range! And, too, they recommended the band be replaced at an additional $600+...!!! WTFudge???!!! I might as well buy me a brand new TAG for only a bit more...! Let's see: How do you spell R-I-P-O-F-F...???!!! Naturally, I rejected their sales approval slip tout-de-suite...! Hopefully they return my watch in one piece.... :| read more
