A family member died unexpectedly while traveling abroad and my family was tasked with bringing them home with no notice. Jean at BBT was able to help us get travel arranged but she was quite slow and used very "old school" methods. If you like smart phones, computers or even the simplest technology, go elsewhere. This was not cheap as well. We paid her over $500 and I will never do that again. I had my family member call her on my behalf after I had left to set up one last hotel for me, as she said to do ("at no extra charge", her words), and almost two months later they were billed $75 to book that hotel. Other family members used various travel agencies for this big trip abroad and spent between $90-$150, TOTAL. Honestly, go somewhere else, you'll be glad you did.

I chose this company ( https://www.altour.com/contact/altour-cherry-creek) based on a friend of a…read morefriend recommendation, and the service was terrible. In retrospect I should have saw the red flags - one sentence emails from the agent (Betsy Everhart) not even CCing both me and my girlfriend. We paid in advance, and when got to our destination in Belize, no connecting flights were booked. When I provided confirmation code, was told it was invalid (this was only given a 'quote code' that didn't help). I tired calling the 'Weekend Flights' emergency number and no one answered. The trip was off to a terrible start, and I had to go out of pocket to book the connecting flights myself and it took 3 weeks and barrage of emails to get a refund, because the office phone line just has a perpetual busy signal. Other details of the "All Inclusive" package at the resort were also not covered (Breakfasts - fortunately was able to negotiate with the resort for that). All in all very sloppy service, not customer oriented, unable to reach anyone on a phone, and slow to respond for refunds. We would have been better off to book everything ourselves, would have saved a lot of time and money and certainly tons of aggravation.

We first worked with Lisa from Nimble Travel and she was an amazing help in planning our…read moreAmaWaterways Danube River cruise. She responded to emails immediately, offered to help research various options and was a wonderful resource as we made different decisions about the trip. Lisa also initially helped us in planning our trip to Machu Picchu the next year but then somehow we ended up being transferred to Rick Ables. Rick didn't seem as "engaged" as Lisa had and so when we were ready to plan our Amawaterways cruise on the Nile River, I emailed Lisa to ask for help. I was told that Rick would handle the booking and even when I emailed again to ask for Lisa to help us, the response came from Rick. I have a completely different opinion about Amawaterways cruises in general and specifically about Nimble Travel. I would absolutely not use Rick again for a trip. Every request I had for assistance was met with some kind of excuse or complication (as an example, the website promised that we'd be assisted with transportation from the airport in Cairo to the hotel for the start of the cruise but since we're going a day early, Rick said we were on our own for transportation arrangements; similarly, supposedly Amawaterways would help with the Egyptian visa - oh, but not because we're going a day earlier. We emailed back and forth about an optional trip that wouldn't be available to book until June 8 and Rick was supposed to follow up to see if we were interested - I never heard from him again except to tell us when payment was due. I don't know if Lisa isn't working for Nimble any more but she was definitely a much better representative for them than Rick.

With the pricing, the personalized service, and the options I think that Nimble is definitely in the running with all the big name options. Planning a honeymoon during COVID was not easy, but Kristi took the challenge head on and removed all the stress & worries completely away from us. We had to change plans last minute, and Kristi's recommendation for our honeymoon was absolutely magnificent. Very quickly, she pivoted our travel plans completely and had a brand new vacation ready for us within 1.5 months from leaving. We travelled to St. Lucia and stayed at Ladera Resort. It was the nicest place I've ever been. The resort and restaurant was incredible. Our room had a pool and didn't have a 4th wall, so we could enjoy the views of the Pitons from our bed! The quality of the service, food, etc. in a place that tropical is unmatched. It absolutely blew our expectations away. Kristi planned everything to the perfect detail and made it so easy for us. We had the most fantastic time. The views were breathtaking, the food was incredible, and our resort was perfect. Kristi even left us a gift of a picture frame with our brand new wedding pictures in our bed the first night. Kristi also planned an incredible sunset cruise, a perfect excursion (hike, waterfalls, volcanos, etc.), and a great wine & food pairing dinner! It was the best vacation we've ever been on. Kristi's hard work translated into the most relaxing, stunning, and memorable trip of our lives. We plan on coming back to Kristi for all of our big trips. She takes the stress out of planning and thinks through the intricate details that can be missed. We'll be back next summer to use her services for our 1-year anniversary!
