We had an appointment with Tactic Electric scheduled for 8:00 am on 11-22-21. Carlos called that morning and indicated that he could not make it by 8:00 am due to unforeseen circumstances, but he could possibly could come later during the day and he would let me know within a few hours. Four and a half hours later I had not heard from him, so I called him. He answered and said he was at lunch, but he could come to our house within an hour or two and he would text me when he was thirty minutes out. After waiting 3 hours without hearing from him, I texted him and two days later I have not received a reply to my text or call back. I am very disappointed in his lack of response and disregard for my time as I had taken the day off. I do not recommend scheduling service from this company. read more

Carlos arrived approximately 1PM on the first day and left at 3PM without completing the work or even mentioning he was leaving. He worked approximately 6 hours the next day. The condenser did not have electric power, so he was called back out. The circuit breaker just needed to be toggled, but it indicates he did not even check his new work. The replacement electrical panel box has an upper section for C.S. Utilities and their meter. The lower half is for the circuit breakers and circuit connections. Each half has a door to enclose it. The original installation had the circuit breakers in the garage and the meter on the outside wall. Carlos in using one box put them both on the outside. Not what i'd have wanted. To close the doors, one must push the lower door up hard under the upper door.At first this was very difficult. He blamed it on the utility meter. Carlos agreed to work with C.S. Utilities to resolve the problem. For 5 weeks he told me that he didn't get a response from C.S. Utilities on their portal email. On 7/28/21 I called C.S. Utilities customer service and they opened an equipment check order. A C.S. Utilities person arrived within an hour. He checked the box and said it was not the meter. He called Carlos and they discussed the issue. The issue now is that when the doors are closed they are misaligned by half an inch. There is a little gap between the two doors. Carlos argued that it passed the safety check and any other work would be at my expense. He did agree to come out and check the box, but hasn't done it -it's been 3 more weeks. When I call him, my call goes to voice mail and he doesn't call me back. Very unprofessional. I think he got in over his head on replacing the electrical box. read more

I DO NOT recommend Tactic Electric. I contacted Carlos in regards to installing 3 new outlets and hooking up electrical to a hot tub. He provided a good estimate and was very well mannered on the phone. He said the job required a permit and an inspection, which he would take care of. Carlos and a co-worker showed up on a Monday on time and did the job. The outlets were working and he turned the hot tub on. Upon leaving he said he would contact the inspector to put us in the queue for an inspection and get back with me. He said it probably could be inspected in 2- 3 days. He did not call back that afternoon, so I called him. He said he was trying to get with the inspector. He did not call the next day, so I called him again. He told me the same story. I called him the next two days and got the same story. I called him on Friday and he said the inspector would not be able to come out for 2 weeks, because we lived so far out. On Monday I called Carlos and asked him to send me a photo of the permit. He said he would, but did not. I called him again on Tuesday and made the same request and he did not send the picture. On Wednesday I talked with him and asked him where he obtained the permit. He said he obtained it from Peak Regional. I checked their website and found that they do not service Teller County. It seemed to be one lie after another. I called Teller County on Thursday and they informed me that Tactic Electric was not licensed to do business in Teller County. Therefore, they did not obtain a permit and could not obtain an inspection. When I contacted Carlos, he said he would get another company pull the permit and get an inspection. I checked the website of that company and they did not do work in Teller County. Another lie! I contacted Carlos on Friday and told him that we no longer needed his services. We had to spend $800 to correct the work that Tactic Electric had done. The two breakers he installed were too small and had to be replaced. It could have been a fire hazard. DO NOT USE TACTIC ELECTRIC. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU AND DO INADEQUATE WORK. read more
