Sadly, all the brunch items I wanted were not available which was pretty much the entire brunch menu. So I defaulted to the sandwiches. I decided on the half order of the La Cosa Nostra sandwich which is basically an italian on ciabatta. So pretty much an organized crime of italian meats and veggies on bread (If you don't know what La Cosa Nostra means, I suggest you watch The Sopranos). It came with a side of homemade chips for a complete meal. Filling and tasty, I found the giardiniera to be a nice touch with the meats and veggies. Plus the bread had some softness to it for a ciabatta. Staff is nice but customer service could use some polishing (i.e. making sure silverware is on the table). I'll have to try other sandwiches next time I'm back here. Laredo has impressed me with places like these.

A server that was at the bar entering tickets or something, kept looking over at my table, but no one ever acknowledged me after I was seated. I waited for about 10 minutes until someone realized I need assistance. The server finally came over. He was polite to check my order served my meal left me to be on my own to check on me one time, but it certainly wasn't a two minute check when he should to see if my meal was to my satisfaction. My plates were not cleared and I had to ask for the check.. the food was OK. I had the salmon. Nothing spectacular. risotto was uneventful. Got my check and left. No goodbye, no thank you for coming in no stand out service.
