Went here for Taco Tuesdays and price has been increased to $2.50 a piece now (May 2026). I liked that there's easy parking and a nice covered seating area. The tacos were not my favorite though. The al pastor must have been not been touched for a while cause it was dry and crusty. The lengua was bland and disappointing as that's usually my favorite meat choice but not this time. The cabeza was the best out of the three meat choices I got cause it was at least soft, juicy, and had some flavor to it. Sauce could have saved the day but both green and red sauces were quite spicy. The tacos desperately needed flavor and moisture but the spiciness limited how much I could actually use. Tacos Uruapan makes delicious Mexican food that is filling at very fair prices. We recently had a work meeting and were deciding on lunch options. Someone brought up Tacos Uruapan as an option, and man we were lucky to try their food! We heard that their Carnitas were on point and that definitely is the case. Other colleagues ordered the Carnitas super burritos while I chose the super quesadilla. The Carnitas were packed with flavor and still moist after they are shredded for your dish. I liked the use of a little butter to get the tortilla a little crisp while adding more flavor as well. I only ate half the quesadilla, it was pretty filling. My wife had the other half for dinner and really enjoyed it! We had a colleague order the shrimp burrito and they loved the taste. Can't wait to visit the taco truck soon to try other cuts of meat and sample more of their salsas. We heard their brick and mortar closed down but glad to hear they are keeping their food truck going. We came here a couple times to take advantage of their taco Tuesdays deal $2, and grab a super burrito. It's located near Costco, near a bunch of industrial buildings. Could be hard to miss if you're not intentionally looking for this spot. They renovated their outdoor patio so there's plenty of seating and a bathroom for their customers. Their tacos taste very similar to how it was done in the past - still delicious and came with good amount of meat. I love their red and green salsa bottles around the tables. You can pour as much sauce as you want on your food without asking for sauces constantly. Their super burrito is delicious - the price is quite standard for the bay. They do have a burrito deal on Wednesday to take advantage of. I love their quesadillas though, Soo cheesy and packed with flavors! There's parking available although not plenty. They do close a little early around 6 I believe, so pick up food during the day to avoid peak traffic! read more

It's convenient because it's right around the corner from my house and when I need a quick fix for some simple tacos, it does the job. The parking lot has about 8-10 spots. I usually only get the carne asada tacos and it's delicious and after two, I'm full! The service is simple and easy they do charge tax for cards from what I read so I highly suggest cash! I have been absent for a while due to the fact that I've been working on my health and on a diet. But today I decided I wanted a burrito. Anybody want to take a wild guess what I got? That's right a Carnitas super burrito. I've seen this location many times around where I work and decided to try it. I'm glad I did. Plenty of parking nice outside area with seating. And the people inside were very nice and got my order out fast. It was 12 bucks for the burrito and on the first bite. I knew it was worth it. The flavor was fantastic. 90% well balanced all the way through so every bite was almost the same. They even grilled the tortilla which I like. I do recommend this location if you're in the area. Went there for taco Tuesday and there carnitas tastes gross, you can tell the quality of their meat was not good, including the asada. You have to pay extra for the stuff that's suppose to come on the side for free which is jalapeños, carrots or radishes. I will never go here again. Disgusting! read more

I've been coming to this truck since they were a truck on huntwood and industrial in 1998. They now have a restaurant there and the truck has moved further up the road on industrial Blvd. they have a deal going on every day. The nachos and tacos are good and I love the verde (green) sauce. The parking lot is small so park on the street but they do have a lot with about 10 spots. Get a Mexican Coke or a Mexican sprite. They have about 4 tables also in the shade read more

The tacos and burrito is ok here and I don't mind coming back here if there's no long line.

We came here once after shopping at Costco. The tacos are packed with meat but el pastor didn't taste like it should. It tasted more like longanisa. The sauces didn't have much flavor either. I haven't been to this place for a long time. Due to convenience, as my kids were hungry, I gave it a try again. I ordered 5 tacos (taco Tuesday) and it costed $12 for cash payment. I had a $10 bill and $2 in coins. When I go and pick up the tacos, the lady tells me we do not accept coins because they do not count them. So it's not my fault she's too lazy to count the coins. I wasn't aware coins no longer have monetary value. When did this change? Poor service and rude. Even if I had to pay more I'd take my business somewhere else. read more

This place is just ok. It does the job. Their steak street style tacos are not super oily/greasy. They're just super stingy/greedy with salsa portions they give you. They DO NOT have nor offer radishes, grilled green onions, pickled carrots/jalapeños in vinegar.. I also DO NOT think they serve nor make fresh aguas frescas and fresh tortilla chips? This place does the job when you just need your Mexican street style tacos fix without the whole experience (the complimentary stuff). With the whole pandemic going on, they're outdoor seating is closed but their parking is available. Sure, you can eat in your car.. Just being grateful they are open. Good customer service but food is ridiculously OVERPRICED! Ordered three items only, Regular Burrito, Steak Fries & 4 Tacos. Total came out to $48 for three items! Steak fries was not worth the price for the small portion they give you in a To-Go container, also was very very soggy! The fries were not crispy at all. The regular burrito was alright, kind of dry and too much beans and rice not enough meat! Tacos were pretty good but they don't really fill it up with meat! At this point it's better you go to an actual Mexican Restaurant & get Mexican food. I highly recommend La Piñata in Fremont, way more authentic Mexican food and good price for the portions/quality. Went here today for the first time because my neighbors put me onto it, first let me say my review is for the truck not the restaurant. David was very friendly, answered my questions and even helped me practice a little of my newly learned Spanish with him. Next the food came out super fast and I do mean FAST and the best part was the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, I really can't say enough about the flavor, everything was seasoned right and cooked exactly how I like it without me requesting it.
