I love how creative their tacos are. Don't come here expecting your standard carne asada or al pastor tacos.
Their charred broccoli taco is probably the most popular one that I've seen mentioned and it is indeed excellent. I loved the pairing of the toasted peanut salsa against the charred broccoli. So good.
I also got the huevo taco, which was also solid. I always love a runny egg yolk and it works really well here in taco form. The chicken tinga taco is also good, very juicy, a little wet, a little spicy.
Across all the tacos, I found that the corn tortillas were well-constructed and didn't fall apart. Usually I'm not a corn tortilla person but they worked really well with these tacos. Also, all the tacos I tried were a little bit spicy but not overwhelmingly so. I have a really low spice tolerance and I still enjoyed all of my tacos.
Update: Came back and tried the pork chile verde taco, which is similar to the chicken tinga, love the guacasalsa. The asparagus tostada I wasn't a big fan of - it's massive so it's really hard to eat and I just don't love uncooked snap peas (and again quite spicy). It's also $14, which could almost get you 3 charred broccoli tacos. read more
