Super local taco place. Straight in the heart of Monterrey's central industrial sprawl. The kind of place local Mexicans are surprised to see foreigners in. But nonetheless clean, fresh, and savory. Super casual, busy ambiance. You go in, sit down, and wave the table service over (they're busy and might not notice you even came in). Taco Barbacoa (cow cheek) usually runs out by 1PM. They close from ~2PM-3PM. Then open again until 11PM or so. American Express accepted. Limited parking. Give it a try. Carne Asada (basic tacos) is always a great choice if you're not sure what to order. Drinks are kind of expensive here (70 pesos!), so maybe get your Coke Zero at OXXO or 7-Eleven (25 pesos). read more
