Its located right by tech. Which is the technical college of Monterrey (if you didn't know). Me and wifey have tried 7 different Tacos here so far and we both agree that while they are all really good, the Chicarone Tacos on Maiz tortillas (that's a corn tortilla for the gringos and gringas reading) are Definitely THE BEST!!! The horina (wheat) tortillas are good as well but the maiz tortillas are the best I ever had. Even better than Mexico city maiz tortillas. The red and green salsas are both amazing. Both salsa options are pretty spicy. With the red salsa being a bit more spicy than the green. I personally put a health helping of both sauces on. Yes ypu can say I'm good at handling heat. I also add the onion, cilantro, and lime or as the Mexicans say around here "en total". All the ingredients mix well and add to the Ultimate flavor. Service was fast and friendly. It is located close to the ITESM campus. We came here during the evening, and found parking along the street. Parking was not hard to find, however, as it was a weekday evening. Once we got here, I noticed that there were mainly locals. This place reminded me of taco places in downtown LA. Once we sat down, one of the workers came to get our order. I got several tacos, some chicken and some beef (I don't do pork). I got a water, as I'm not big on soda. The tacos were tasty, and the salsas were spicy. I was satisfied with the tacos here, and equally so with the service. The kept is kept clean and the service efficient. There is nothing much else to it. Other things that I liked about this place: they have antojitos mexicanos (deep fried soft or hard tacos stuffed with cheese), you can order single tacos (I found out later), and the sense of positive karma this place has (they have positive phrases all around the walls). One thing I did not like: they don't take credit cards! Bummer. Ah! And the pastor beef seems like is painted (maybe it's the sauce used to put it in the trompo?) Overall a great experience!
