Taco Tuesdays in Center, TX; who would've thought you'd see that in this area? If this was a few years ago, I probably wouldn't have found this spot due to the horrible cell service in this time. Now that cell towers have been installed within an acceptable radius of Center, YELP can help us find spots like this. Wiht the drive thru open, I figured that was the way to order. The lady taking my order got everything to me quick so I could get back to the hotel and gobble everything down. Being on an empty stomach, I did an order of breakfast tacos (Huevos con chorizo, Papas con chorizo), a bistec Sope, traditional tacos (pastor, barbocoa, tripas), and a Pambazo which is similar to a torta but with melted cheese, using the bistec. Everything was freaking delicious. The Pambazo was larger than I expected, messy, and delicious with the charred bread, lettuce, and queso fresco stuffed inside with the bistec. The tacos (breakfast and traditional) and sope had grease, tortilla softness, and savory flavors from the bites. Price-wise, all ordered were a little over $20 which is a steal these days. No doubt I'm here again for Taco Tuesdays or any day when I'm in Center. Seems the citizens of the area cherish this spot and for good reason!

The Tex-Mex options here involve your normies such as enchiladas, quesadillas, burritos, fajitas, nachos, and tacos. All of these (or a combination of these) are part of the express lunch menu which is what we usually order. Most of the time, people in our group get some sort of enchiladas with the favorites being the avocado or the verde due to the sauces and cheesiness mixed in. The avocado is probably my favorite since I'm an avocado lover with the taste and texture. Other favorites are the street tacos where it comes with three tacos and the rice and beans. These tacos are quite large so it's not the traditional mexican street tacos with the onions/cilantro on the miniature tortillas. They are also packed and I mean PACKED with proteins; I've only gotten the al pastor cause I keep coming back to it.
