Wow. I used to love this place. Not so much now. The good. Good is still pretty darn good. Service was average. But I always expect that since I'm not Hispanic. The bad. Wow the prices have gone up. Quaint place got a bar in the back restaurant in the front gambling exact all kinds of tequila service was good cause it was so quiet taco plates for taco Tuesday. The service has been good. They really need to do something about the excessive amount of flies that you have to fight for your food. I have never seen so many flies in doors. Above average authentic Mexican food, a bit pricey but the ingredients justify the costs. We had a beef soup (cocido) and a carne asada plate. Both plates were really tasty, portions were above average, both plates came with extra meat, food temperature was excellent. Well that went downhill fast. What a big disappointment!! Just 3 days apart and the burrito I got today for the same price had no carne asada no cilantro and onions. I added cheese there was hardly any. It was just all rice and to top it off it was a quarter of the size of the one from Thursday. It's an hour away and it's it's extremely upsetting.
